The last time I went to Leshan was in 2018. Later, because of the mask problem, I traveled very rarely. In 2023, my parents said they wanted to go to Mount Emei to see the monkeys. Since everyone has no meaning to Leshan, let's play.
Although my parents traveled around after retirement and had better physical strength than me, I still ordered a car from EHI. It not only saves them the hard work of traveling, but also improves efficiency, so they don't have to waste time on transportation between various attractions. They still agree with my decision. And think I know how to plan now. You see, sometimes it is a very simple thing to satisfy your parents.
After we arrived at Leshan Station, we first went to pick up the car, and then drove directly to the hotel near Baoguo Temple. There are especially many hotels here. The reason why we arrived early was to make it easier to travel the next day. The hotel I stayed at is a five-minute drive from the visitor center, which is very convenient.
There was still snow on Mount Emei in early April, which was simply a happy thing. First of all, the tickets to Mount Emei are indeed more expensive. The tickets we bought included tickets, round-trip sightseeing tickets, and ropeway tickets, totaling 370 yuan. It takes 2 hours from the visitor center to Leidongping, and this section of the road is all winding roads, which is a great test of the driver's driving skills. After arriving at Leidongping, we put on our raincoats and boots and started riding the cable car. In fact, the temperature here is very low, so the rain boots are about to become skates later.
When I was walking the stairs, I was especially worried that my parents would slip. It turns out that they have more experience than me.
This time I came to Mount Emei, and my biggest feeling was the cold. Fortunately, we made a strategy in advance, and the three of us wore more.
During the climb, I was almost tired and screamed. I feel that it is not the right decision to accompany my parents to climb the mountain, so it is really better to take them to Sanya to lie flat. I saw many flowers on the way up the mountain. For me, who especially likes flowers and plants, this is a beautiful encounter.

In Mount Emei, I saw many small details that shocked me. For example, we see monks wearing thick iron shoes practicing, and this devout belief is admirable. Another example is seeing the mountain flowers of Hongchunping, as if this is a fairyland on earth. For another example, when we climbed to the mountainside, we saw a lot of rhododendrons. Rhododendrons are always fascinating. After all, in the story, "cuckoo" is also always mentioned.
At the top of the mountain, we also saw a lot of snow. The thick snow seems to completely separate Mount Emei from the hungry world we live in. It's already early spring, and it's like winter here.

After coming down from Mount Emei that day, I was really exhausted. That night I was worried that my legs would hurt so much that I couldn't walk the next day, and my mother used her years of mountaineering experience to tell me to soak my feet and massage them. Moreover, my mother really massaged me for a long time. I was about to cry at that time, and I actually went out to travel, and my parents came to massage me.
second day, we did not arrange to check in at scenic spots, but ate various delicacies in Leshan. In fact, there are many food shops in Leshan that are worth checking in.
We went to eat Granny Ye's bowl chicken. This is a restaurant we went to at night. The bowl chicken tastes really good. In fact, this place is a bit similar to the roadside in Chengdu. They all eat skewers/bowl chicken is sweet and has a lot of sesame seeds on top. Because I like to eat very much, I want to do more. Another very experienced mother told me that I could take less and choose more types, so that I could eat more categories.
In the end, our leaves were not completely full, after all, we still had to look for other delicacies. For example, the alley fried in my heart.
Alley fried is also a variety of fried skewers, and I like it very much when I eat it for the first bite. The chili noodles they use are not particularly spicy, so they are moderate. The beef leaves inside the store are delicious. In addition, we also chose some vegetables, such as green beans, lettuce, etc., anyway, we didn't step on the thunder. The only thing I'm not used to is breaking my ears. It seems that people in Sichuan and Chongqing like to eat it, but I am really not blessed.
After eating, you can go to Granny Ju next to you to eat something with ice. Their desserts are particularly satisfying. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos.
We went to eat Haihuiyuan shumai for breakfast that day. In fact, many breakfast shops in Leshan City have a lot of people. When we went to eat shumai, we also saw a lot of people queuing. My suggestion is that two people line up in different lines. For example, my dad is queuing up to pay, and my mother is going to get roasted wheat. This is definitely more efficient. There are several types of shumai fillings. You can choose shrimp filling, fresh meat filling or crab roe filling. Personally, I think the shumai is good, not greasy, and the leaves on the skin are covered with soup, which is delicious.
Dad said that only eating shumai was not enough, so we went to another store and drank tofu brain.
On the way, I passed by a shop with a sweet duck, so I simply packed a sweet duck first. In fact, it is our local roast duck.
Speaking of tofu brain, the tofu brain here is completely different from our local practice. There is more tofu brain added here. I love to eat it. I heard from the boss that it actually has gourd and tofu added to it. It seems that all of our north is tofu. We went to eat Jiujiu Tofu Brain, which is a very famous local store. They have beef tofu brain, I think it tastes good, I recommend it. The card cakes in the store are also good. The cake is filled with fat sausages.
Finally, let's share with you a scenic spot-style food area. It is Zhanggongqiao Food Street. Although it is said to be for tourists, our family of three liked it very much. Mainly, the streets are lined with food stalls. You don't have to go anywhere else, you can learn about almost all the food in Leshan here. There is also stilt beef here, and the taste is okay. We had a stilt beef in the city, and it was indeed better.
Although it wasn't that cold yet, we still had ice cream. In addition, there is a place that sells egg baked cakes here, so I recommend you try it.
On the third day, we went to the Leshan Giant Buddha.
