The Yi farmer who stayed at the accommodation said that the cultivation of tea trees in Wuliang Mountain began during the Three Kingdoms period, and the tea seeds and cultivation techniques were taught by Zhuge Liang during the Southern Expedition, and until the Nanzhao period of the Tang Dynasty, Wuliang Tea Mountain has been cultivated by the Yi people. In the 90s, five Taiwanese businessmen bought this tea mountain called "Wuliang De'an Tea Farm" in the Wuliang Mountains of Nanjian, and they used this mountain to plant oolong tea and Tieguanyin, in order to shade these tea trees from the sun, but also wanted to add natural floral fragrance to the tea leaves, and transplanted a batch of winter cherry blossoms to plant in the tea garden.
