The train ride from Dali to Kunming takes over two hours. I happened to see beautiful women in Bai ethnic costumes (the phone picture is too small to upload). The bustle of Kunming and the tranquility of Dali form a sharp contrast. People always crave the enjoyment of prosperity and the pursuit of tranquility. Sometimes you really can't have both. Hotels in the downtown area are really noisy, but getting around is indeed convenient. In Kunming, I use Hua Xiaozhu and Didi to take taxis, and the subway uses the QR code.

This is my second time in Kunming. The last time was during the National Day holiday. In order to take the opposite route from the tour group, I went to Lijiang and Banna first, and then came here. I heard that the lotus flowers in Cuihu Lake are in bloom. Green Lake, also known as the "Nine Dragon Pond," was converted into a garden in the early years of the Republic of China. There are many stories and historical legends about Green Lake, so I won't introduce them all here. Let's go see the lotus flowers.

Tang Jiyao built the famous Tang Causeway, a long embankment running from east to west, connecting it to Ruan Island in the middle. This is what Kunming people later called the "Tang Causeway." He also built a water plant! The water from Jiulong Pond was pumped up to Wuhua Mountain, filtered, and provided drinking water to Kunming citizens!

The waterfall park was transformed from an artificial river. When I went there, I didn’t know what preparations or promotions were made. The corridor near the water was closed, so I could only view it from a distance.

Actually, this is what it looks like. If you have seen a real waterfall, I don't recommend going there. Not only is it far from the city, but it can't compare to the natural scenery. Don't believe many of the attractions advertised on xx. The pedestrian street is brightly lit and bustling with people.

I came to this highly praised restaurant for the steamed chicken I'd always missed. The flower cakes were fresh and slightly sweet. They were similar to the ones at Jiahua. I don't know if it's because food never tastes as good as the first time or what, but I've lost the nostalgic taste of steamed chicken.

I stayed at the Kunming Airport All Seasons the night before I left. I have to say it was incredibly comfortable. Even though it was right at the airport, it wasn't noisy at all. The handsome guy helped with my luggage both upon arrival and when I was seeing them off. The lobby manager always felt like family, warm and natural. It's a bit far from the city, but I'd stay here again if I had the chance.
