More than 100 rare animals, including giant pandas, red pandas, black-necked cranes, white cranes, etc., are raised here all year round.

The best time to see pandas is before 09:30, because there is a feeding time between 9:00-11:00, and the pandas will fall into a deep sleep after eating. Another reason is that pandas are generally afraid of heat, so you must arrive early, preferably around 8:00, to avoid the crowds and see the various poses of the giant pandas.

There is a direct bus to the scenic area at IFS on Chunxi Road, which is jointly operated by the government and goes directly to the panda base. However, it is not recommended. The first bus leaves at 8:30 and the journey takes nearly 50 minutes.

You can also take Metro Line 3 at Chunxi Road, get off at Exit A of Panda Avenue Station, and transfer to Bus No. 198 or 198a to reach Panda Base Station.

By Vanyic-Neo |

How to get there:

Method 1: Buy a package of bus ticket + entrance ticket on the WeChat official account of Chengdu Scenic Area Direct Bus, which is about 80 yuan. The full ticket is 58 yuan, and 20 yuan is the bus fare. The bus will start at Chunxi Road ifs, go around the Jinli area to pick up tourists, and then go to the panda base. The total journey is about 50 minutes. Since there is no half-price package on the official account, it is not recommended for students, the elderly and other tourists who can enjoy half-price tickets to choose this package.

Method 2: In order to avoid taking a detour and not being able to enjoy the half-price ticket, we decided to go there by ourselves. In fact, the transportation is already very convenient. Take the subway at Chunxi Road and go to the Panda Avenue subway station. There is a bus to the entrance of the panda base at the exit of the station, which costs two yuan. Please note that it is a bus, not a coach. It is run by the government and has a red panda image on the body. After getting off the bus, follow the crowd and walk for 3 minutes to the entrance of the panda base. The whole journey takes about 30 minutes and costs 8 yuan.

Tickets:

For tickets, you can buy tickets for 29 yuan from the official account mentioned in method 1, or buy half-price tickets on site with your student ID.

Play time:

Tour time: 7:30-18:00, with feeding time from 9:00-11:00 in the morning, which is also the time when pandas are most active. They will come out to climb trees, play and roll around with each other. So this is also the time when the most tour groups come.

After 11 o'clock, the pandas will want to sleep and their activity will decrease, so it will be difficult to see their simple and cute appearance. I suggest you go to the panda base a little earlier, around 8:30, to see the baby pandas in the panda delivery room when there are fewer people, and then go out to see the pandas rolling around outdoors. If it rains, the pandas' outdoor activities will also decrease, so you must check the weather before going out.

Game content:

There are two species, pandas and red pandas. Pandas are raised according to age groups. They live in villas (glass houses), ordinary houses (cement houses) or outdoors (small hills). The instructions in the scenic area are very clear, so just follow them.

souvenir:

There is a palm-sized panda doll that can be clipped on your head. It costs 10 yuan each and you can buy one as a souvenir. Of course, there is a panda post office in the panda base, where you can stamp the panda base's unique seal and postmark and send a postcard to yourself.

The panda base is in the suburbs, so there will be a lot of people if you go late, and weekdays are no exception. There are many foreign friends who come here specifically to see the pandas.

It is recommended to book tickets online. You can enter by swiping your ID card, avoiding wasting time queuing up to buy tickets on site.

Transportation

You can take the subway to Panda Avenue Station or Zoo Station, then take the bus directly to the gate of the Panda Base. It is recommended not to wait for the scenic area through bus, the first through bus is at 8:30, and the Panda Base opens at 8:00, even earlier in summer, and there are a lot of people going late.

After entering, I bought a sightseeing bus ticket for the scenic area according to the online guide. It cost 10 yuan per person and you can take it round trip and get on and off at any stop.

Tour route 📜

It is recommended to get off at the Moon Delivery Room first, and walk from top to bottom to save energy. Then you can see the Baby Panda Villa, Villa No. 2, Sun Delivery Room, and Villa No. 1. You can also see the Internet-famous giant pandas "Meilan" and "Fushun".

Tips

During the panda breeding season from June to August, you can also see cute pink panda cubs. It takes about 3-4 hours to visit the panda base, and about 2.5 hours if you take a sightseeing bus.

Bus

Take the subway and get off at Panda Avenue. After exiting the station, there is a pavilion-like house with staff in yellow clothes. You can buy tickets there, and there is a free bus to take you to the gate of the base.

You can also buy direct buses to major scenic spots there. We also bought tickets to Kuanzhai Alley for 10 per person, and the buses depart on a rolling basis.

After we got on the bus and started driving, there was a guide on the bus, which made us very happy. According to the guide, as soon as we entered the gate, one of us bought tickets for the sightseeing bus in the scenic area, and the other went to queue up (also: the visitor center at the gate can store luggage for free)!!!

Play 🐼

The sightseeing convoy was very long, but also very fast. We went directly to the Moon Delivery Room, where there were two cubs that were more than three months old. We also saw Meilan, who had grown into an adult giant panda.

All points in the scenic area are one-way lines, and you can go around in a circle. There are many pandas in each point.

The Moon Delivery Room is not the topmost point. There is also a Giant Panda Villa No. 2 on top? There are many pandas inside. GunGun is really super super cute. There are also many foreigners who come to see GunGun and take crazy photos with their mobile phones.

The advantage of coming early is that everyone is eating, and watching them eat bamboo shoots is really delicious.

Along the main road where the sightseeing bus passes, there are various tourist attractions on both sides. It is recommended to just see the giant pandas and red pandas. Swans and other animals are more common. The base is really huge and your feet will hurt from walking there.

The last place we turned to was the red panda spot. The red pandas were all sleeping on the trees, and their faces were almost invisible. Finally, we took the return battery car back to the gate.

Tickets: 58 yuan/person, half-price ticket with student ID 29 yuan/person;

Opening hours: 7:30-18:00 (all year round)

Tips for visiting the Panda Base: (for holidays)

1. It is best to go to the panda base in the morning. It is said that the cute pandas go to sleep after 10:30.

2. Physical tickets and ticket vending machines are faster than mobile phone electronic tickets, because everyone takes it for granted that the queue for buying tickets will be very long and slow, so everyone buys electronic tickets in advance. In fact, it is not the case. We bought tickets at the ticket vending machine (student tickets can be purchased) and then checked the tickets at the physical ticket entrance. We went in one go, which was much faster than those queuing for electronic tickets!

3. You must go to the toilet in advance before entering the scenic area, and then try to drink less water when you enter, otherwise you will die in the queue. Each women's toilet has to wait for at least 20-60 minutes, which is simply killing your youth hhh

4. When watching panda babies in the panda delivery room and villa, don’t crowd at the entrance to take pictures right away. There are too many people and you can’t squeeze in, which wastes time. In fact, the further you go, the better the view will be, and you can also grab a good photo spot.

Transportation

You can get on the bus directly after you come out of the ticket office. The bus will only leave when it is full. It is said that the bus runs every few minutes in the morning and every fifteen minutes in the afternoon. The first bus leaves at 7:30 and the last bus leaves at 16:00. It takes about ten minutes to drive to the base.

Tickets 🎫

Arriving at the base, you can scan the QR code to enter the park, which is very convenient and hassle-free. However, if you want to collect tickets, you should buy them on the spot. After entering the park, walk to the right and you can buy a ticket for the scenic area sightseeing bus. Ten yuan per ticket can be used for one round trip on the same day. Unless you come early, there will usually be a long queue at the waiting point.

Tour 🎈

Take the tour bus to the highest point of the Moon Delivery Room, where most of the little dumplings are, and then you can browse them from top to bottom. As a person with poor directionality, I got lost as expected, hahahaha.

The nearest place from the Moon is Villa No. 2. Down from Villa No. 2 is the kindergarten. Near the kindergarten are the Sun Delivery Room and Villa No. 1. Villa No. 14 is closest to the gate. If you want to see the mini rolling and mother and child rolling, you have to go to the Moon and Sun.

The time for cat fishing is between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Cat fishing means that the breeders string apples and steamed bread together with bamboo poles and train the cats to stand and eat, so as to train the strength of their hind limbs.

The entire base is well-greened, with bamboo paths everywhere. The average living area for the pandas is relatively small, but there are many rest areas and toilets for tourists. The planning and environment of the scenic area are relatively friendly to tourists, and it is a good place to spend time.

Tips✋

However, when visiting, please do not bang on the glass, throw garbage into the enclosure, make loud noises, take photos with flash, or feed the animals.

Giant pandas have sensitive hearing and loud noises can make them uncomfortable, while flashes can harm their eyes, especially those of their cubs.

The giant panda's daily diet is strictly controlled and disinfected. Feeding them at random or littering may cause intestinal obstruction or bacterial infection, and in severe cases may even endanger the life of the national treasure. So let's start with you and me to visit in a civilized manner and protect the animals.

Please note that those who want to take the scenic area direct bus back to the Panda Avenue subway station on the return trip must return to the boarding point from the gate at 3:30 at the latest, because the last bus is at 4 o'clock. Those who take taxis can arrange their time as they please.

There are beautiful panda murals in the Panda Avenue subway station.

By God said, "Let there be light" |

I went there in April, here are my feelings:

1. Time. Many people mentioned that you must go early. I saw that even at 10 o'clock, there were still many pandas eating. Of course, most of them were motionless except for eating. I didn't see many pandas, only two were relatively active. So I don't think you need to go too early deliberately, because if you go too early, you will have to take the subway by yourself.

2. Transportation: Take the subway to Panda Avenue Station and you can buy tickets and buses to the Panda Base. You can get a free ride if you buy tickets there, or you can buy a separate ticket for 2 yuan, or you can buy a return ticket. You can book a bus from Wuhou Temple, Chunxi Road, Kuanzhai Alley to the Panda Base on Ctrip for 7 yuan, all after 7:30.

3. Sightseeing bus: I don't think it's necessary to take it. I arrived at around 8 o'clock and the line for the sightseeing bus was already very long. It took quite a while to queue up. And there's no need to visit from top to bottom. There are no panda babies to see in this season, which is not the breeding season. At the top, a lot of people squeeze around a panda, while at the bottom, there may be a small group of people surrounding a few pandas. The viewing experience is much better. You can walk up while visiting.

By Three Realms Gossip |

Let me first talk about my route. Don't take the bus to the scenic area, because the first bus leaves at 8 o'clock, and don't think about buying tickets at the gate, because the ticket office of the scenic area also opens at 8 o'clock. I live near the Second Municipal Hospital, and the subway line 3 is only one stop away from Chunxi Road. I got up at 6 o'clock that day. The first bus of Chengdu Metro is at 6:10. I calculated that the first bus will arrive at the Second Municipal Hospital Station at 6:40. I took the subway to the Panda Avenue Station, walked 50 meters from the exit of Station A, took bus 198 or 198A to the gate of the base, downloaded the software "Tianfutong, and scanned the QR code when taking the subway and bus. It is super convenient.

The scenic spot opens at 7:30. If nothing unexpected happens, it may not be open when you arrive. Search the official account "Chengdu Scenic Spot Direct Bus" on WeChat and buy tickets online directly. You can enter the park with a QR code or ID card. The ticket price is 52.

After entering the park, don't wait for the 10-yuan sightseeing bus, because that also opens at 8 a.m. Use Baidu Maps, download an offline map of Chengdu, walk to the Moon Delivery Room in 15-20 minutes, then walk down to the Sun Delivery Room, Villa 1, Villa 2, the Red Panda Habitat, Swan Lake, Panda Gallery, and finally buy some souvenirs at the Panda Post Office at the gate. It takes almost 3 hours to have fun. At this time, the main group enters the park one after another, and the crowds are crowded, while we have already finished, so you must get up early, otherwise there will not only be glass between you and the pandas, but also countless heads.

Ps :

1. Don't wait to see the panda cubs. Pandas mate and give birth to cubs in September or October. The area where the panda cubs are displayed is covered with curtains. That day, I and many other girls waited for a long time, and finally found out after asking the security guard.

2. The red panda habitat has a captive area and a free-range area. If you are lucky like me, you may occasionally encounter a red panda on the stone steps in the free-range area. It is really cute.

3. There are so many young ladies who go to see the giant pandas, and they all get up very early.

4. Finally, I sincerely think that pandas’ sleeping positions are all very charming.

Pandas are the cutest gift that nature has given to Chengdu, so this base is worth visiting. The roads in the base are all shaded by bamboos, which gives the impression of "winding paths leading to secluded places". If visitors want to see giant pandas, it is recommended to choose to see red pandas, because giant pandas are very lazy and sleep all day long, while red pandas are energetic, rolling on the ground chewing bamboo or playing with each other, which always makes people laugh. It is also recommended to visit in spring and autumn, because in summer, due to the hot weather, pandas will always hide in air-conditioned rooms, and tourists will not be able to get close to the lovely national treasures.

By Dong Ge walks everywhere |

This is the most popular attraction in Chengdu. There is no doubt that the innocent appearance of the national treasures has attracted countless people to visit, including Dong Ge. To be honest, the giant panda is a ferocious beast in nature. It is said that its bite force is extremely amazing. Now it can make a living by being cute and dominate the martial arts world. It is also admirable!

There is nothing else to remind you when you go to the panda base. Remember one word: "early". You must come early! If you arrive late, you can only see a group of sleeping giant pandas. They are so proud that they will not wait for you to come late! When we arrived, it was just after eight o'clock, and tourists were already coming in an endless stream.

The route to visit the panda base is very simple. It is recommended to walk to the farthest Moon Delivery Room first, and then walk all the way down to visit slowly. If you don't want to walk, you can also take the scenic area's tour bus, which seems to be 10 yuan per person. The Moon Delivery Room and the Sun Delivery Room are where you can visit the baby pandas. This is also where the tourists are most concentrated and the queues are the most fierce. However, even if you take a quick glance through the glass, the appearance of the baby pandas can instantly melt your heart. The healing skills of these little angels are off the charts every minute!

The tour routes here are one-way, and there are security guards at every location to maintain order and let everyone pass quickly. If you want to see them more in the crowd, you can only queue up again. Dong Ge will tell you that he queued up three times to take these photos!

This place completely simulates the living environment of giant pandas in the wild, with lakes, streams, bamboo forests, lawns and other landscapes. Each giant panda has a name and introduction. As I said, you must come early so that you can see the giant pandas in action. It seems that they are all very camera-savvy. When they know someone is taking pictures, they will act cute in front of the camera.

In addition to giant pandas, there are also red pandas, black swans and other animals. They seem to be unafraid of people and run around in the park. There is also a panda post office and gift shop at the entrance of the park. You can't buy real pandas, but you can take some souvenirs home.

By Smoke (Yu) |

The tickets are not very expensive. We went there at the right time today. The weather couldn't be hot. The giant pandas are also very lively and cute. The park is very large and the environment is very good. You can see cute giant pandas everywhere. They are very cute. If you have enough time, you can choose to walk in the park for a few hours (about three or four hours to complete the tour!). You can choose to walk directly from the gate to the moon delivery room at the top and then walk down slowly. You can choose not to take the scenic spot sightseeing bus (the fare is 10 yuan/person), because the journey is not far, and there are too many people waiting in line for the bus. It's very good to play slowly. Just remember to mark it on the map after you walk to a small scenic spot, because every road seems to be connected, and every time you go to a new scenic spot, the appearance feels the same as the previous one, so it's hard to remember whether you have been there. It's a tiring day, but it's still worth it. I will go there again when I have time in the future.

I read the guide before going there, and it said that we should go very early. So I stayed in the hotel near the zoo station the night before, and got up early the next morning to go there. When I arrived, it was around 7:30, and there were already quite a lot of people. I bought the ticket at the self-service ticket machine. After entering the gate, the stairs on the left hand side are the museum and other things, and you can store your luggage there. Although everyone in the guide said that we should take the sightseeing bus to the Moon Delivery Room and walk down, because there were not many people at that time, my mother also suggested that we walk up, so we walked and watched. It turned out to be right! Because at the beginning, I saw the scene of adult pandas eating breakfast! ... By the way, there were indeed foreigners who came to see the pandas…😂 (As for why I was particularly glad that I didn’t take the sightseeing bus, it was because when we returned from the bus at around 10 o’clock, we found that there were so many people, so crowded… We couldn’t see the pandas at all, all we saw were heads😂)

I was even luckier because I saw a "panda fight" this time. Haha... It was so cute. I was so lucky to have encountered this scene at that time~~

By the way, the postcards for this scenic spot are 5 yuan each... and there is no stamp! I saw in the guide that there is one... T_T

Be sure to go early! The pandas start eating from 9 to 11 o'clock, and then start to sleep. I heard from the explanation that they can sleep until 4 to 5 o'clock in the afternoon. If you don't go early, you can only see the national treasure sleeping! ! ! The gate opens at 7:30 in winter, and the battery car tickets are sold at 8 o'clock. It is recommended that if you arrive early and have the physical strength to walk, take advantage of these 30 minutes to walk to the moon delivery room, and then start to turn back. During this period of time, you feel that everything is under your control, and there are very few people (there are too many people queuing for the battery car, which is what I did). The base is very large and there are many people. Walk slowly. If you play by yourself, one morning is the best. In addition, the delivery room is basically closed in winter, and you can't see the newly born pandas. I personally recommend taking the Chengdu Scenic Area Through Bus (not the Panda Bus, I took the Scenic Area Through Bus) when returning to the city. Those who get up early must transfer from the subway to the bus. The through bus back goes directly to the main attractions, which is more convenient and reduces transfers. At the same time, there are official explanations on the bus, and the ticket service is quite complete. Go to Chengdu to see pandas, it's so cute~

There were not many people in front of the panda base, which had just opened on the first day of the new year. Tickets booked online in advance do not need to be exchanged. You can enter by scanning the code on your mobile phone at the gate, which is very convenient. According to the strategy prepared in advance, we have to take the first batch of battery cars up the mountain to the Moon Delivery Room, and then walk and play down the mountain. Don't panic after entering the gate. Turn right and walk towards Swan Lake to find the battery station. The previous strategy said that there are two queues for buying tickets and waiting for the car. It is best to buy tickets and queue up by one person. But it may be because of the Spring Festival. When we went, we only needed to queue up directly, and the ticket seller came to the queue to collect money. The battery car started running at 8 o'clock. Because we did a good job of strategy, we pushed the children for a while after entering the park, and actually got on the first battery car in the first batch! There are three or four battery cars in total, each of which can seat more than a dozen people, so if you miss the first batch of cars and there are many people in line, you might as well walk up the mountain. Because I was afraid that it would be cold on the mountain, I specially armed my child. As a result, except for the cold on the mountain car, it was not cold at other times.

As we walked along, we could see that more and more people were going up the mountain, but it was still acceptable. When we left at 11 o'clock, the gate was already crowded with people, so you must come to the panda base early! However, I saw photos posted by others in the group a few days later. Starting from the second day of the Chinese New Year, even at 7:30 in the morning, the people queuing at the gate were already a sea of people.

I think it's always right to go early. The housekeeper of the B&B also reminded me that the dumplings are most active in the morning. When we arrived in the morning, they were eating and moving around. When the sun was high and they were full, they would climb up the shelves or tall trees to take a nap.

From the entrance, we went straight up to the Moon Delivery Room, and then down to the Sun Delivery Room. We didn't see the scene of the scientific research staff raising the panda cubs. Because the smallest giant panda in the base is already half a year old, it can be released outdoors. We saw it very high up in a tree. If someone hadn't discovered it and pointed it out, I really wouldn't have found it.

The pandas live in their own villas, which have trees, pillars and ladders for them to play. When they want to rest, they can hide or climb to a higher place. They live very comfortably in the villas. The management of the site and the maintenance of discipline are very good. Although there are no panda babies in the Sun Delivery Room, there are still introduction videos available for viewing.

In addition to giant pandas, the base also has free-range red pandas and peacocks, and the various birds in the base are not afraid of people and fly very close to people. This also shows the management of the base and the self-consciousness of tourists.

Coming down from the mountain, there are the Giant Panda Science Museum and the Giant Panda Museum. The contents of the Giant Panda Science Museum are still very professional with specialized biological expertise, but there are also many popular science films to watch. I don't have time to visit the museum, which is good.

By I want to go to Guilin |

You must go early, early, early to see the pandas! Important things should be said three times! We came on the third day of the Chinese New Year. We arrived at 7 o'clock and bought tickets to enter the park at 7:30. There were already many people when we arrived, but it was not too crowded. We first went to the sun delivery room and found that bamboo had just been put in. The pandas had just woken up and were eating breakfast. When we went to the moon delivery room, it was still being cleaned. Some of the pandas were still in the trees. It was so cute!!!

By Bruce Romanoff |

There is also a through bus ticket office at the entrance of the panda base, and you can also go to other attractions

The main entrance of the Giant Panda Base, you can enter by swiping your ticket here, and the exit is right next to it. The sculpture after entering the door is an oversized brass ball. There are two routes, A and B. Most people choose Route B, and they feel that they can see more pandas, but the panda delivery room is not open in winter, and the younger pandas are all in Route A, so if you want to see smaller pandas, it is better to take Route A. The first panda that came into view, I had heard from the guide that pandas sleep in the afternoon, and sure enough, the first one was sleeping, and the sleeping posture was still so ecstatic, stuck in the branches, pretending that the body was sleeping, but the soul was flying. The sun delivery room on Route B is not open in winter, so it is a pity that I can't see the pandas that are just born like dumplings.

Finally, I saw the baby panda, rolling around on its mother's body.

We left the Giant Panda Base at 3 p.m.

By Alex |

It is recommended to go to the Moon Delivery Room or the Sun Delivery Room first, and go early. The pandas are not asleep yet. The keepers have just put out fresh bamboo in the morning, and the pandas will eat for a while. If you go after noon, the pandas will find a place to sleep.

Giant pandas are so adorable, and we saw many foreign tourists who probably came from far away just to see our cute giant pandas.

Looking closely, each one of them is so adorable. They climb trees, chew bamboo with relish, and eat their meal slowly and leisurely, completely ignoring the looks of others. Their chubby appearance really melts my heart.

There are several very cute panda sculptures at the entrance of the panda base. Some are practicing martial arts, some are taking pictures, and some are exploring. Each one is very cool.

XS told me that to see the giant pandas, you must arrive before 9 am, because the giant pandas will sleep in the afternoon. However, I really couldn't get up, and I found a very reasonable reason for myself: since everyone thinks that you must arrive before 9 am, there must be a lot of people in the morning, so I'd better go in the afternoon. However, there are still a lot of people in the afternoon, from...

Although most of them were asleep in the afternoon, there were still some energetic babies who showed me their cuteness.

There are many pandas inside, each of them is very cute~ Watching the pandas eating, sleeping, fighting and rolling around makes me feel very happy~ The red pandas are in the Moon Delivery Room and the Sun Delivery Room, and the others are relatively large. However, if you want to see the newly born red pandas, you have to go in the summer. We went in January, and the youngest panda was already six months old. You have to go early to see the giant pandas. If you go late, there will be a lot of people, and you have to squeeze to see them. We went in as soon as the door opened at 7:30. There were few people in the Moon Delivery Room, and we could take selfies with the pandas~ In addition to pandas, you can also see black swans and red pandas in the panda base. Red pandas look a bit like raccoons. Because they like to run around, they may be harder to find than pandas.

Especially in winter. Giant pandas come out more in the morning, so remember to wear more clothes! It's very cold

Through the glass, I seemed to be able to touch their furry and chubby appearance. The Japanese girl next to them kept exclaiming how cute they were.

There is actually a three-story museum in the giant panda base, near the main entrance. It is quite interesting, but not many people go there. I recommend you to go and have a look, there are many works related to pandas.

When you come to the giant panda base, you must send a postcard. The postcards inside are all cute photos of giant pandas, it is worth buying two.

The guides online all say that you must go early to see the pandas (preferably before the ticket sales start at 7:30) so that you can see the most lively pandas with the least crowds.

For this reason, we gave up the Panda Express (because the first bus was at 8 o'clock) and went out before dawn. Fortunately, it was not expensive to take a taxi early in the morning. It only took 34 yuan and the ride was half an hour.

After successfully buying the tickets and entering the park gate, I went straight to the electric car ticket office to queue up, and successfully got on the first few electric cars, yeah!

The route we chose was to go to the Moon Delivery Room to see the baby pandas.

After coming out of the Moon Delivery Room, we first walked up to Villa No. 1, and then walked down to visit Villa No. 2, the Sun Delivery Room, and other areas for giant pandas and red pandas.

It took about two and a half hours to walk around. There were many bamboos planted at the base, which was very cool and the air was very fresh. It was so comfortable. I envy these black and white groups.

Don’t forget to send a postcard from the Panda Post Office before you leave. You can also get a special postmark.

The panda base opens at 7:30 in the morning. Because it is far from the city center, students have to get up early.

After we exited the subway station, we could see the Chengdu Scenic Area Through Bus Store, where students could buy tickets and take a free bus to the Panda Base, because there is still a long way from the subway station to the Panda Base. This through bus is super convenient. After visiting the Panda Base, you can take a bus to Kuanzhai Alley and other attractions. The price is very cheap, 5 or 10 yuan.

After entering, take a sightseeing bus to the Moon Delivery Room on the top of the mountain, and then walk down slowly. This is the recommended order of sightseeing.

If you go early, you can see giant pandas eating bamboo. If you go later, there will be more people and the pandas may hide after eating.

Students, please do not buy souvenirs in the scenic area, it is not worth it. You can go out to the entrance of the scenic area, where there are many people selling panda cubs and headbands. They are the same and much cheaper!!! A lot!!! A headband is 5 yuan, and two cubs are 40 yuan.

We went early so we didn't have to queue up. They said the sightseeing bus would start at 8 o'clock but it actually started before 8 o'clock.

Actually, you can buy a one-way ticket first, because we bought a round-trip ticket but we actually walked back. Even if we feel tired after returning, we can still get on the bus and buy the ticket later. We read in the guide that it is best to go before 9:30. When we left the scenic area at nearly 11 o'clock, there were still a lot of tourists entering the scenic area, and at that time, the sightseeing bus had a long queue. When we took the sightseeing bus at nearly 8 o'clock, there was no one

There are two red pandas in the Moon Delivery Room, two playing and rolling

Seeing these little cuties really aroused my girlish heart, hahaha. Each baby panda has its own name and information card, all in Japanese, English, and Chinese. In fact, the physical area of the panda base is very large, but the main reason is that the living places of each baby panda are too scattered. If you want to see them all, you have to walk around for most of the day. The baby panda will appear by a pool, on a piece of grass, or hiding in a house waiting for you to discover. Let's find the difference together! Hahahaha

A scenic spot that cleverly combines natural scenery and beautiful landscapes, where you can not only get close to giant pandas, but also see the pastoral scenery within the Third Ring Road.

The title of "national treasure" is indeed not in vain. I specifically went there on non-holidays, non-winter and summer vacations, and non-weekends, but I was still shocked by the long queue at the entrance. The queue stretched from the ticket gate to the side of the road. It really felt like going to a concert.

We thought the fat daddy walking on the street would act cute and make us happy, but I didn't expect him to be still sleeping at twelve o'clock. Why don't you turn around and let us see his face?

By Guoguo Linki |

It is also very convenient to go to other attractions from here, so you can go around if you have more time.

It is best not to buy the panda souvenirs inside, because after I bought them, I found that they are everywhere and cheaper than in the scenic area. In addition to these cute giant pandas, they don’t eat anything else but bamboo. They are so picky and have a big appetite. They eat bamboo that reaches a quarter of their body weight every day. They are round and cute.

By lwer wishes the wind would cut the dust |

We went on a weekday, and it was not summer vacation yet, so we expected that there would not be many people. In fact, I still underestimated the fighting power of the Chinese people... The queue for sightseeing buses was endless. In fact, if I didn't bring the elderly and children with me, I felt that walking would be completely stress-free.

We arrived at the base around 10:00, and most of the pandas we saw were lazily sleeping. I heard that it is best to go early in the morning, and you may be able to see the keepers feeding the pandas before 9:00.

It was drizzling lightly, and Panda was unwilling to come out. After walking around the entire panda base, my bold statement was, "We can't miss any pandas!"

By Miaomiao Cloud |

We took Metro Line 3 to Panda Avenue, and a staff member at the exit told us that if we bought tickets on the spot, we could take the scenic area direct bus for free. We had already bought the tickets online in advance, so we paid 2 yuan for a bus to get there directly. It was more than 2 kilometers away, so the 2 yuan fare was really a conscience price.

Buy a 10 yuan electric car fare at the entrance, which allows you to go up and down once. However, I saw other people's travel notes saying that you should first sit in the moon delivery room at the top and then walk down. This is indeed the case! It may be the off-season, the waiting time for the electric car is not as long as it is said on the Internet, but it is not short either, about 20 minutes. If you have good physical strength, you can walk, but we climbed the mountain the day before, so we decided to wait for the car.

Giant pandas only give birth to one cub a year, so we can't see the baby pandas, but it's satisfying to see the adult pandas.

By White noise |

When we arrived at 7:30, there were already more than 20 people queuing up. There were many vendors selling panda items at this time, which were not expensive, but I didn't want to buy them. I discussed with my sister that it would be too late to buy tickets after the gate opened at 8 o'clock. A vendor reminded us that we could buy tickets at the self-service machine next to it, and each person could get a 5 yuan discount. It was very convenient to scan the code to enter the park.

Go to the queue to buy tickets and go directly to the Moon Delivery Room. There is only one person in the queue to buy tickets. The extra people can go to the sightseeing station to queue up, which is inside the wooden fence on the left side of the ticket booth.

I really want to hug them. I envy the people who work here. Red pandas are very flexible. They are not specially locked up, so don't get too close. A foreign couple was frightened by the red pandas and ran away in a 100-meter sprint. The babies in the panda kindergarten are much bigger. It is worth it to live as a panda in this life.

After getting off the sightseeing bus at the Moon Delivery Room, there are many stairs and suspension bridges, so it is not suitable to wear high heels.

By quesooo |

I just arrived. Actually, it’s not a small number of people for me. There are at least 50 people in my sight.

There are volunteers standing in front of a sign at the door. You can scan the code to buy tickets. The tickets are not expensive.

We were the first to line up for the tour bus. There were so many people that it turned out we were not early.

When it’s almost your turn, there will be a woman selling tour bus tickets, cash only! ! Cash only! ! Cash only! !

By Xiaozhou Travel Vision |

After getting off the bus, scan the QR code to enter the park. The park has only one gate and one main road, so there is no need to worry about getting lost.

There are too many people queuing for the sightseeing bus. It is said that it will take an hour to queue. Forget it. It only takes 40 minutes to walk there. Why bother?

Remember to go straight to the Moon Delivery Room and the Sun Delivery Room at the innermost part of the scenic area, where there are the most pandas.

This is the first time I have seen giant pandas eating bamboo at such a close distance. I have heard that pandas eat a lot of bamboo every day. It is really as they say. They are always eating and are very picky. They throw away a lot of the unpalatable ones.

I heard that these pandas often travel, and some grew up overseas, so some of them can speak various languages, hahahaha

I counted them and, including these four, we saw 25 today. In Xiao Wu's words, the value of our tickets was fully paid off. The guidebook said that you can see newborn or a few months old panda babies in the Moon and Sun Delivery Rooms, but unfortunately we didn't see any. Later, I heard from the security guard in the park that the little panda babies can only be seen from May to August every year. However, seeing these many cute cats, today's trip to the panda base was a complete success.

The bamboos in the park are extremely lush and green, and their colors appear brighter to the naked eye. When the wind blows, the bamboo shadows dance, reminding me of the classic fight in the bamboo forest in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

This place has the largest number of pandas in the country, as well as panda babies that you can't see anywhere else. When we left the park at about 12 o'clock, there was a stream of people coming in from the opposite direction. So, important things must be said three times: be early, be early, be early, hahahaha

I was thinking happily: Today is Friday, a weekday, so there shouldn't be many visitors. I took advantage of the time difference, perfect! When I arrived at the entrance of the base, I was stunned. It was perfect. It was the spring outing day of the local primary school and kindergarten. There were so many people. Especially the groups of kindergarten children, they walked crookedly. The teachers tied them up with ropes, looking forward and backward. We were thinking: Will they be hungry? What if they can't walk? How to go to the bathroom? It's raining, will they get wet... The four "old ladies" really worried about them. Let's take a look at the rolling pandas~ There is a rolling panda, watching him climb up the tree, watching him climb up the branch, watching the branch cannot bear the weight so he falls down, oh my god, my head hurts. There is a rolling panda, watching him get stuck between the branches, twisting his body but can't get out, oh my god, I should lose weight. There is a rolling panda, no matter whether the surrounding pandas are walking around, he always keeps his limbs facing the sky and sleeps soundly, oh my god, his image is not good. There are two rolling pandas, hanging safely on the tree, and I don't know if they are thinking about their life as bears or wandering with Zhou Gong, the whole world seems to be only There is also a colorful peacock, pacing on the wall. When it looked back and saw us, it made a sharp cry. I wonder if it was blaming us for not looking directly at her stunning face... On the way, I also saw a warm scene. Two white-haired old people staggered and supported each other, but they would stop and take pictures of each other when they saw lovely things. I think they should love life, and I think they should care about each other. You are taking pictures of the scenery, but you don’t know that you have become the most beautiful scenery in my eyes. Please forgive my sneak shots~

The red pandas are very cute, and the giant pandas are very adorable. Watching them play, eat, sleep, and bask in the sun is so healing. The park environment is very good, and peacocks, birds, swans, etc. all live in harmony. I forgot to read the guide when I went there. There were many people, so it was difficult to find a good angle, but the further you go, the fewer people there are. I still took a lot of good photos and was very satisfied. There is a scenic spot shuttle bus from Line 3 to Exit A of Panda Avenue, which is quite convenient.

Open the official website and you can see two recommended routes. We basically took the 1.5-hour route.

Recommended route (1.5 hours)

As soon as we entered the door, my daughter was attracted by the souvenir shop on the left. The various panda souvenirs were so cute.

There were people queuing up further in. They were tourists who were planning to take the electric car, but after some research, we found that it wouldn't take long to walk down, so we decided to walk. We walked more than 16,000 steps that day.

The weather was gloomy that day, and I thought I would miss the opportunity to see giant pandas outdoors, but I didn't expect to see them not long after I walked. In addition to pandas, there are many other animals in the base.

The natural paradise of national treasures, our idyllic place. I wish I could live in the bamboo forests like a panda. Looking out at the green ocean, I would naturally feel very happy. Sitting there motionless, eating and munching, with the piles of leftover bamboo shoots around me, I wish I could eat and munch like a panda without any worries.

Tips:

1. There are not many places to eat in the panda base, and there seem to be only a few coffee shops and dessert shops. Because the entire base is quite large, it takes half a day to visit it. It is recommended that you eat a full meal before going, and bring some snacks. We finished the visit hungry.

2. There is a direct bus to Chengdu Scenic Area outside the scenic area.

3. Baby pandas are very cute and are our national treasure, so when you go to see them, please don’t make loud noises, throw things around, or use flash to take pictures of them!

Like everyone else, I want to say that you must go early! The base opens at 7:30, but we were still waiting for the subway at 7:30... Fortunately, it was sleeting that day, so there weren't many people. We got off the subway at Panda Avenue Station and caught the through bus. It only took about ten minutes. You don't need to exchange the e-ticket you bought by scanning the code, just go in directly! Yes, I was delayed here for ten minutes and ended up queuing behind a tour group... As a result, after entering, I had to buy a sightseeing bus ticket and queue up to get on the bus. There were a lot of people, but fortunately I waited for more than 20 minutes... It was quite interesting inside the base. Although the sleet later turned into heavy snow, it was a pleasure to watch pandas eating bamboo, freezing and having fun... The things in the panda store are very cute. It is recommended to take a look at Taobao before going, otherwise you may not be able to resist buying them when you get there! It is indeed not cheap! The free-range geese next to Swan Lake are very brave and will run to the shore to ask tourists for food, which is quite interesting.

To see pandas at the panda base, you must come in the morning. Pandas are still very active before lunch. But once they have eaten, they are really lazy. This trip to the panda base to see pandas is mainly to see panda cubs and babies, after all, adult pandas are more common. Maybe it was the wrong time, the two panda delivery rooms were not open, and it was a pity that I couldn't see the panda cubs.

The scenic area is well designed. The distance between the pavilions is not far. There are seats for rest everywhere on the roadside. My son would sit down and rest for a while when he was tired. He was not very tired after the whole tour. And you can meet the peacocks raised in the scenic area at any time. They are not afraid of people at all. You can stop and play with the peacocks for a while, which is also very interesting. Peacocks raised in the scenic area.

The red pandas in the Red Panda House are really energetic. They are almost never idle, running around here and there.

By Harley |

Very good. In addition to visiting Kuanzhai Alley, Jinli, and Wuhou Temple in Chengdu, the most worthwhile place to visit is the panda's residence. Go in the off-season, you don't have to queue, and you can stop and take a good look at the cute pandas.

One thing you need to note is that you must go early, otherwise the pandas will be asleep and you can only see their butts.

The nearest subway station is Panda Avenue subway station. You can take your luggage with you. There are many boxes for storing luggage in the customer service center on the left hand side when you enter the panda base. Suitcases and trolleys can be placed. If you have any questions, you can ask me on WeChat 13823318127. Let's communicate together.

Have fun!

There were so many people queuing up for the sightseeing bus. When we were hesitating, another large group of people came, so we hurried to queue up. I have something to say. You must bring toilet water when you go to see the giant pandas in summer! Maybe it was too hot, the giant pandas didn't come out to play at all, and all hid indoors. You are not allowed to stop to take pictures. There are staff watching next to you, so you can only take pictures while walking.

The breeding base is very large, and even though the weather is very hot, there are always a lot of people. There are long queues outside each exhibition hall with giant pandas. The national treasure is indeed a national treasure.

By Dugu Kuang |

Walking on the quiet path in the dense bamboo forest, I truly felt that the baby panda touched the softest place in my heart.

Cute and adorable. If you want to describe the national treasure in one word, it has to be this one. However, the giant panda is a beast with amazing bite force. Surprising or not?

At the breeding and research base, considerate staff members have given each giant panda a name, and the signs in the park have the life story of each giant panda.

I remember there was a giant panda, I forgot what it was called, but it was said that it always liked to stick out its tongue when tourists took pictures of it. It was really a stubborn boy who was not content with only black and white photos.

The Sun Delivery Room and the Moon Delivery Room are where pregnant pandas, newborn pandas and baby pandas live, and they are known as the panda kindergartens. However, there are huge crowds of people here, and the queues are like dragons. However, even if you take a quick look through the glass, the panda babies can touch your heart, as if they can heal everything in the world.

The breeding base not only has giant pandas, but also red pandas, peacocks, swans and many other rare animals. Unfortunately, we didn’t see the red pandas this time.

There is a panda museum and a post office not far from the entrance. There are all kinds of panda-related products, beautiful and artistic postcards, and you can also stamp them with the unique panda postmark.

By ArthurWang77 |

Next to the gate is the ticket office, which has manual ticket sales and self-service ticket machines. You can use WeChat and Alipay, which is very convenient.

If you are not in a hurry, it is recommended to buy tickets at the manual ticket office, as the tickets there are more commemorative.

There are actually many peacocks in the garden, and they often call loudly.

There are many signs in the park saying "Please do not make loud noises", but there are still many people talking loudly, and some even tease the giant pandas. It's really unbearable.

I had seen giant pandas in the Beijing Zoo before, but there were only one or two of them, and they looked lifeless. On that day, I finally saw so many pandas. I couldn’t help but marvel at the wonders of nature.

Although I arrived at the entrance of the site base, it was dark and full of people

We entered the park pretty quickly.

The park staff will remind you not to wait too long for the battery car.

15 I think I must buy a battery car for one person

It's really tiring to walk on the slopes.

The battery car was sent directly to the panda delivery room, saving a lot of time.

But I don't know why the staff kept fooling me. I really have to wait for more than an hour. You should just go in by yourself.

In fact, I didn't wait long. I really wonder if there are still battery cars that don't want to make money.

The panda base is really huge

Good air quality

After all, it is the living area of the national treasure.

Every one is super lazy

I only saw two more active ones walking very slowly.

The others were eating and enjoying themselves while watching him.

The tour at the panda base was basically completed in three hours

By Autumn |

The first giant panda I saw after entering the panda base was a big and fat one. Many tourists were amused by it as it gnawed bamboo with such relish. It was nice to see it enjoying its food. The fat cat must have thought: I am just gnawed a few bamboo poles to fill my stomach, why do you humans have to laugh so silly, as if you have never seen the world! Our national treasure of China is so cute, and the key is that it is still fat, so fat that it is so adorable. The second one kept complaining about its ugly appearance, but I couldn't tell what was so ugly about it, because it obviously has a unique temperament. Here comes another big fat cat gnawed bamboo. Their bear life is really happy, which makes humans very envious.

Every time I see a big fat cat with a strong waist and tiger back, I can't help but praise it: "Wow, it's so fat!" I guess I can't even hug it. I envy them so much for their life of eating, drinking, playing, and lying down.

There are two delivery rooms in the panda base, the Sun Delivery Room and the Moon Delivery Room. When you go to the Sun Delivery Room, you have to record a video and tourists are not allowed to enter.

I just brought back a little fat cat from the Panda Life Museum, and took it home for the New Year and put it on the shelf in my room.

We walked around the panda base for two hours. It was really big, and we hadn't visited many panda dens yet. Considering the time limit, we decided to go to the next attraction. The second child said firmly that she would come back to see the giant pandas next time she came to Chengdu.

After leaving the base, there are direct buses to many scenic spots, such as Kuanzhai Alley, Chunxi Road, Wuhou Temple, etc.

Today's plan is to get up early to see the giant pandas. Many guides say that giant pandas are more active in the morning and become lazy in the afternoon.

There are several pavilions in the Chengdu Giant Panda Research Base. There are adult giant panda gardens, sub-adult giant panda gardens, and baby giant panda gardens. Each garden is in a different part of the base. It takes some time to walk from one place to another. Try to come early so that you have enough time.

Spent the whole morning at the base seeing giant pandas of all ages.

By candy |

The first stop today is to see the giant pandas. The Internet says that if you go late, the giant pandas will sleep, so no matter how sleepy you are, you have to get up early. Arrived at Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding at 7:50, bought tickets online for 49 yuan, and picked up the tickets at the self-service ticket machine with your ID card. I got a guide map at the visitor center. There are self-funded sightseeing buses available when entering the scenic area. I had read the guide before that it was completely unnecessary to take the sightseeing bus, so I chose to walk there. Several tour groups arrived at the giant panda base early in the morning. Go straight along the main entrance of the scenic area, pass the giant panda bronze statue, turn right, pass the Swan Lake, and you will arrive at the giant panda villa area. Giant pandas are divided into juveniles, sub-adults, and adults according to their age. According to their age, these giant pandas live in different villas. Pandas under one and a half years old live in the juvenile giant panda villa, where the bamboo forest is like a happy kindergarten. The sub-adult panda villa is suitable for giant pandas aged one and a half to five years old. They are stronger than juveniles, and their food is beginning to transition to a bamboo-based diet. The adult villas are inhabited by giant pandas over five years old. These big guys have fully adapted to the environment and sleep leisurely most of the time. Because I have a weak sense of direction and the park signs are not very clear, I am a stubborn person and must walk through all the pavilions, so I walked around the scenic area and took a lot of detours. If it weren't for the "obsessive-compulsive disorder", as long as I saw the giant pandas of three ages, there would be no need to walk through all the pavilions. There will be a sign at the door of each villa, stating the name, age and other information of the panda. In the panda base, there are two red panda activity areas, No. 1 and No. 2. Although red pandas and giant pandas both like to eat bamboo and small rodents, they are two completely different animals. Red pandas belong to the raccoon family instead of the panda family. In the red panda activity area, I heard many parents introduce this to their children as a raccoon. Isn't this misleading? Red pandas and raccoons are two completely different animals, okay! Coming out of the Giant Panda Villa No. 1 and walking towards the gate of the scenic area, there is no place for pandas to live here, but various pavilions instead. There is nothing to see in the Panda Kitchen, and there is nothing to see in the Panda Hospital either.

If you come to the Giant Panda Breeding Base, you must go early, such as around 10 am. It is difficult to complete the tour without 3 hours, and if you come late, the pandas will go to eat and you will not be able to see them. There are not only pandas in the Giant Panda Breeding Base, but also black swans and red pandas.

Maybe I'm used to it, so I will visit the Giant Panda Breeding Base every time I come here. The pandas are very interesting. They climb high up, and then they fall to the ground accidentally. To be honest, it looks very painful.

There are many red pandas in the Giant Panda Breeding Base, in a garden, but you need to walk inside to find them. Although not as precious as the national treasure, it is still a national second-level protected animal, and it is very interesting to see them jumping around.

There was another garden with a family of three. The giant pandas gave birth to two babies. I really forgot which delivery room they were in. Anyway, I walked around for a long time. These pandas were very interesting and they often fought with each other. It was super fun.

If you are lucky, you can also see very small pandas. They sit there slumped like pieces of marshmallows. Maybe because they are very small, they are more popular with tourists. The giant panda base is very large. If you really want to go there, I suggest you take a good look around. It is very wonderful.

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is one of the must-visit places in Chengdu. Bring your children or friends, it's very interesting. The pandas here are very cute. If you come during the holidays, there will be a lot of people. The giant pandas are lazily eating bamboo, and the red pandas are lying there cutely. It's especially cute to see the staff arrange their positions for them. There is also a park with raccoons. They freely shuttle in their own little world, chasing and playing.

The only place where you can see panda cubs. Tickets can be purchased on site at 7:30 am, and tickets purchased online have to be purchased at 8 am. It is recommended to go early, because the pandas will rest after eating in the morning, and there will be a lot of people if you go too late. It takes about 3 hours to play in the whole park. It is recommended to take a sightseeing bus directly to the Moon Delivery Room, and then visit various areas from top to bottom. In addition to giant pandas, there is also a group of equally cute red pandas living here. The Moon Delivery Room and the Sun Delivery Room witness the birth of new life.

When you arrive in Chengdu, you must see the cute giant pandas. You can visit the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base and visit the giant pandas and red pandas in the panda family.

In the Giant Panda Villa area, our "national treasure" made a shining appearance~~~

Our lovely baby panda breaks off the bamboo~ Just don't look at the camera, just so proud~~~ Shy, hide~~~

A peacock flew to the side of the road, probably having escaped.

Groups of children come to see the baby pandas~~~

Take the subway to Panda Avenue Station, exit from Exit A, and you can see the Chengdu Scenic Area Through Bus where you can buy tickets for the scenic area. The adult price is 45 yuan per person, and half price with a student ID. It is valid for one day. You can take the scenic area through bus directly after purchasing the ticket, which includes pick-up and drop-off to the entrance of the scenic area. The last bus of the through bus is at 4 pm, and the base closes at 6 pm.

Here you can see baby, sub-adult and adult pandas. The first thing people will sigh at when seeing pandas is why this panda is so dirty. We usually think that babies are white and plump. After playing in the water, the baby pandas step around in the mud. They are very down-to-earth pandas!

The adult pandas play with water and walk around their nests, looking very playful, while the young pandas sleep on their stomachs, just like babies. The nests of the sub-adult pandas also have wooden horses, hanging chairs, cradles and other entertainment toys. It is so happy to be a panda baby.

In addition to watching pandas, there is also Swan Lake where you can watch black swans and white swans. Visitors squat on the rocks by the lake and get close to the swans. The swans will sometimes be naughty in order to snatch food.

It is best to leave more time to visit here. It is very large, there are many fun things to do, and the natural scenery is also good~

They are really super super cute, but I just can't hug or touch them. In fact, if you go early, you can go to the Moon Delivery Room on the top of the mountain to see the panda cubs. The pandas you see are either eating or sleeping. Many of the active pandas climbed up high branches with their butts facing people. I guess they are too lazy to show their faces to humans. We visited the Panda Art Museum, which has panda-related oil paintings, Chinese paintings, panda graffiti, etc. The gate of the panda base is also cute. After that, you can go to the Panda Souvenir Memorial Hall.

There is a direct bus to the Panda Base at Chunxi Road, and there are also direct buses to other attractions, but the specific location and departure time are not clear. The earliest bus from Chunxi Road leaves at 8:00. There is a driver and a tour guide on the bus. Sightseeing tickets to the base can be purchased directly from the tour guide. I remember it was 10 yuan per ticket. There will be relevant introductions to the Panda Base on the way. When you arrive, the tour guide will collect money for sightseeing tickets, and then you can line up. It is recommended to go early, as there will be a lot of people if you go late. This direct bus in Chengdu can reach many places, such as Sanxingdui, which is very far away, and the direct bus is still very convenient.

Sightseeing bus: If tourists visit the base on foot, the whole journey takes 3 hours; it takes 1 to 1.5 hours to visit the base by sightseeing eco-friendly electric bus; the single-trip ticket price is 10 yuan; stops: Main Gate - Giant Panda Theater - Banana Grove - Giant Panda Kindergarten - Swan Lake.

The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding includes: Visitor Center Area A and Area B, Giant Panda Museum, Panda Kitchen, Giant Panda Villas No. 1 and No. 2, Giant Panda Moon Delivery Room, Giant Panda Sun Delivery Room; Activity Field No. 1 and No. 2 for Red Pandas, as well as auxiliary facilities such as giant panda activity areas at different growth stages, wild bird habitats, Swan Lake, and parking lots.

It is recommended to go either early or late. If you go early, see how many people are queuing for the electric car. If there are more than 20 people, don't queue and walk up, otherwise the queuing time will be up.

It is recommended to go to the Moon Delivery Room or the Sun Delivery Room first. Go early so that the pandas are not asleep yet. The pandas will eat the fresh bamboo that the keepers just put out in the morning. But if you go too late, the pandas will find a place to sleep.

Tickets: 58 yuan/person. Tour time: 4 hours. Transportation: Get off at the Panda Base Station on Metro Line 3, and take a Didi taxi to the breeding research base to reach the entrance of the scenic area. The fare is about 10 yuan. How can you not see the giant pandas when you arrive in Chengdu? There are many cute giant pandas in the base, and you can watch these cute national treasures up close. It is about 15 kilometers away from the city. The construction completely simulates the wild living environment of giant pandas, with lakes, streams, bamboo forests, lawns, etc. The base has many "panda villas" which are closed leisure places for the base pandas. There are open-air gardens and indoor lounges. When the weather is cool, the giant pandas will play in the garden, and you can watch the cute giant pandas through the railings; when the weather is hot, the giant pandas hide in the air-conditioned lounge, and you can only watch them through the glass. Sometimes you are lucky enough to see the newly born baby pandas. Main attractions: Panda Activity Hall, Swan Lake, Panda Museum.

It is said that we should go to the panda base early. We tried our best to get up, but we still went out a little late. There is a direct bus to the panda base, but it seems that there are a lot of people. If you stand all the way, it will be a bit tiring.

As soon as you enter the gate, you will arrive at Swan Lake. The black swans are very elegant and more approachable than pandas.

I really got lost in the panda base. I just walked around without any route to speak of. It was far from what I had planned in the beginning.

Fortunately, the pandas are cute enough, and each one attracts a crowd of people to watch for a long time.

9-11 o'clock is the time for pandas to eat, so if you go early, the pandas will be more active. Of course, they are just... you know...

What we see is either eating or sleeping...

If you disagree with something, she will point her little butt at you and there is nothing you can do.

After a meal, do some fancy exercises to help digestion. Squat, then stand up. That’s it.

You can have fun with any tire, and if you concentrate, you won't let anyone off the hook. Cats like balls, and pandas like rings?

There are cute figurines in the panda base, and you can take photos with them.

As the hometown of pandas, I am actually looking forward to it. The Panda Base is far away from all the attractions in the city. You have to take the subway from Chunxi Road and then transfer to the bus.

I thought I arrived early, but the park was already packed with people.

The only thing I could see clearly in the whole scenic area was probably the swans. I wanted to see the giant pandas, but I only saw four giant pandas and a few thousand people. Maybe my tour route was not right. If you want to come to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, you must study the tour route carefully.

I don't see many red pandas, probably because it's hot in summer.

There is a shop selling postcards and panda-related items at the exit.

By Slowly. |

I waited for more than ten minutes before I got on the bus. It was packed with people, and I didn't need to hold the handrails at all. It took about an hour to get to the destination. After getting off the bus, the entrance to the scenic area was full of vendors selling panda headbands, ten yuan each, very cute. There were two nearly ten-meter-long queues at the gate ticket gate. Fortunately, it was just ticket checking, and I got in in a few minutes. I went by my feeling and went to Panda Room 1, Room 2, and Panda Moon Room. I saw red pandas, a kind of panda that was not what I imagined, but it was also cute.

I finally got the chance to meet these little cuties. It's a must-visit place in Chengdu. I skipped and skipped to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Friends who bought tickets online can [enter the park directly by swiping their ID cards] without queuing up for tickets. After entering the park, the ecological environment is excellent, and the bamboo forest is everywhere. I can't help but stop.

The smallest baby panda curled up its tiny body like a ball. I couldn't help but want to hug it. Upon closer inspection, the baby panda seemed to be sleeping. I thought this sleeping position was quite special, but later I found out that this was the most normal sleeping position.

One was a baby who had just woken up. It seemed that he wanted to get down, but he was too lazy to use his limbs to climb down, so he used the panda baby's trick - rolling.

I gradually discovered that our national treasure loves climbing trees very much. I didn’t expect that he was so chubby, but so flexible when climbing trees. Maybe this is the legendary flexible fat man.

When we arrived at the panda base, we continued to choose the sightseeing bus to go in, and then walked out little by little by ourselves. The line for the sightseeing bus was really long, but it took nearly 20 minutes for the sightseeing bus to drive in. When we left, we went to buy postcards. The Internet celebrity giant panda, the postcards are so cute, writing postcards and sending postcards to people is standard~

You must get up early to see the giant pandas. You must get up early. You must get up early. I have to say it three times. If you go too late, you can only see the pandas sleeping. I want to say here that if you don’t book the tickets online, you can buy tickets on the bus, because if you buy tickets on the bus, not only are they cheaper than those sold at the gate, but you can also take the scenic area through bus for free, which is very cost-effective~

The babies in the Moon Delivery Room are so cute. We even saw a scene of the national treasures showing their affection. I have to say that after entering the gate, whether you walk or take a battery car, you must first go to the Moon Delivery Room to see the smallest national treasures, and then visit the lower ones in turn, and finally walk out of the gate. Only in this way can you see all the national treasures without missing any. There are also red pandas, that is, raccoons, which are actually very cute, but we are only interested in giant pandas, so we just took a quick look and left.

We bought the tickets on site after we arrived. Actually, it is more convenient to buy tickets online now. It seems that there is a small discount. We were not sure when we would arrive, so we bought them on site. Fewer people use cash now, and you don't need to queue up if you use cash. If you can arrange it in advance, don't be lazy like us.

When you enter the door, there is a queue for the sightseeing bus. There are really many people queuing up. I think if you don’t go there very early, you can actually consider walking up like us.

We initially thought that since there were sightseeing buses at the Panda Base, it meant that the park was quite large. Since we had plenty of time and thought it was just a workout, we didn't plan to queue up for such a long time. I think if we queued up, we could easily wait for half an hour.

But actually, those who don’t want to queue up don’t be afraid to walk up, because the amount of exercise is not that big. You may sweat a little or pant a little, and you can see the cute figure of the giant panda~

There is a swan lake in the panda base. There are many black and white swans, mandarin ducks and wild ducks in the lake. Many tourists are feeding the swans, and you can see many swans up close.

If you go to the Panda Base on the weekend, it may take a long time to visit because there are many people. We went early, and it was Friday, so it was about lunch time, so we could leave the Panda Base.

I read in the guide that there will be a cat fishing session in the mid-afternoon. If you really want to watch this session or happen to be at the panda base at that time, you can pay attention to it.

There are many small stations selling 10 RMB bus tickets outside the Panda Base. Although I don't know which one is the official one, there is no difference. You just need to buy the ticket and wait for everyone to gather. Then go across the street and wait for the bus to depart. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the city. If you are tired, you can rest on the bus.

When I left the panda base, I bought a cute panda doll at the exit souvenir shop. It is my favorite to this day.

By The charm of not gaining weight |

You can take a battery car to the top of the mountain and then walk down slowly. The park has moon delivery room, sun delivery room, panda villas for different ages, museum, charm theater and exploration hall, etc. Each place is set in the bamboo forest, and the pandas are indoors and outdoors. You can see the newborn baby pandas and adult giant pandas.

It is very interesting to watch them eating bamboo, climbing trees, sleeping, playing and fighting. There is also a museum in the panda base where you can learn more about pandas.

Although it is the beginning of winter, the park's landscape is well built. Colorful flowers can be seen everywhere, which makes people feel good.

This has always been a must-visit place for many people who come to Chengdu, including many international friends. The transportation to the Panda Base is also very convenient. There is a direct bus in the city. I saw a lot of people through the window before I got off the bus. Because I bought the ticket online, I didn't have to queue up to buy tickets. The entire scenic area is roughly an oval terrain, so you don't have to go back and circle to visit it. Because it is a mountain road, there may be some uphills. You can choose to walk or take a sightseeing bus, but there may be queues if you take a sightseeing bus.

Here, you can see the birth of baby giant pandas, see giant pandas playing and rolling in the wild, and chewing bamboo... In addition to the daily life of giant pandas, we can also see medical staff treating sick giant pandas at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, and learn some knowledge about pandas.

By Walking World |

You must see the giant pandas once when you come to Chengdu. If you haven't seen the giant pandas in Chengdu, you can't say you have really been to Chengdu. We chose the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, which can be reached by subway. It takes about 40 minutes to take the subway from the city to the Panda Avenue Station. From the subway station, you can take a bus directly to the scenic area (2 yuan per person, but you need to wait), and there is also a through bus. You can buy tickets for the scenic area directly on the through bus (buy tickets for free 2 yuan, every few minutes). It only takes about 5 minutes to arrive at the entrance of the scenic area, and scan the ticket QR code to check the ticket.

After entering the park, you can take a sightseeing bus to the Moon Delivery Room for further sightseeing. The giant pandas here grow up to be small, and you can also see newly born panda babies in the Moon Delivery Room.

To avoid being affected by large crowds, you can choose to go on Mondays and Tuesdays, but try to go in the morning. This time we went to visit in the afternoon, and many pandas were sleeping soundly. Occasionally, some of the ones that woke up looked lazy, so it was a bit regrettable.

By Night ~ Footprints |

My friend in Chengdu reminded me to go to the panda base early. If you arrive late, you may miss the pandas. Sometimes it is too hot at noon and the pandas go inside. So I got up early and went out early. I took a bus to Chunxi Road and got off at the zoo by subway. The zoo is the starting point of the bus, so I didn't take the bus to Panda Avenue. The general navigation will prompt you to get off at Panda Avenue. After buying the ticket, I saw many people queuing up for the battery car after the scenic spot. The staff said it would take a long time to walk up, and it was up the mountain. Sigh. I bought the ticket and queued up honestly. I queued for about half an hour. There were still 20 people in front of me. I heard the staff ask "Is there anyone alone? Is there anyone alone?" Then I raised my hand and got on the car, surpassing more than 20 people. The advantage of traveling alone is that when the scenic spot car needs one person to fill the seat, you can surpass dozens of people to reach the destination first. When I walked to the delivery room, the tourists quarreled. This place is a mobile tour, and you are not allowed to stop and take pictures. The two boys in front of me asked the staff to shoo them away several times because they refused to leave while taking pictures. When I finished taking pictures, the mother and daughter behind me simply refused to leave and stood there to take pictures with the pandas. No matter what the staff said, they refused to leave, and the tourists behind them got angry and kept arguing with the mother and daughter. As a result, they started arguing. When a friend came to Chengdu for a trip before, she came back and told me that she didn't see many giant pandas at all, and even when she was outside, they were all sleeping. I guess she came at the wrong time. It was drizzling when I came, and I didn't need an umbrella. The pandas were also very active.

In addition to food, the most attractive place for tourists in Chengdu should be the giant pandas. Pandas are our national treasures, and the temperature in Chengdu is the most suitable for them to live. Therefore, if you haven't seen giant pandas, you may not have been to Chengdu. However, this is also my first time to see giant pandas. There are several panda bases in Chengdu, but the closest to the city is the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Chenghua District. The ticket for this panda base is 55 yuan, and it is 52 yuan on major agent websites. The price is fair compared to those legendary 5A attractions. There are direct buses from Chunxi Road or Kuanzhai Alley in the city, which costs about ten yuan. If you want to see the most interesting pandas, it is recommended to come around 8:30. If you come late, you can basically only see people, after all, there are hundreds of times more people than pandas. Therefore, if you want to quietly appreciate the giant pandas, please come before the scenic spot opens. I don’t know if it’s because it’s a national treasure, foreign tourists also like to come here to play, some in groups and some individually. In the base, you will see the panda kitchen. Through the window, we can see some food prepared by some staff for the pandas. Looking at the detailed panda meals written on a board, it turns out that apples are their favorite fruit. The Panda Base claims that there are pandas everywhere. Of course, in order to protect the giant pandas and facilitate tourists to visit, the pandas are placed in different places. Even so, pandas are easy to see. I went to the Internet to look at the guide, and everyone said that you should go to the Moon Pavilion to see pandas about 2 months old, and they are more energetic. Sister Panda, we came to see you, but you are sleeping? Pandas always look lazy, I really hope I can live like a panda. There are many varieties of pandas in the base. I don’t know if we came at the wrong time. There are several panda courtyards in the Panda Base. We only saw a few giant pandas in the No. 1 courtyard when we came in. Other places were either under renovation or the pandas were pregnant, so we didn’t see enough. If you don’t want to be disappointed, it’s better to understand the real-time information of the scenic spot in advance. The Panda Base is not a big scenic spot, but it takes a lot of time to walk around carefully. There is also a Swan Lake in it. For those who have not seen giant pandas, it is a good choice to check in.

The Giant Panda Base is a must-visit place. It is well-known both at home and abroad and can be said to be a must-visit place when visiting Chengdu.

The transportation here is also relatively convenient. There are many shuttle buses that can go directly from the city. I took the shuttle bus near Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li to get here.

After entering the giant panda base, you can see many people coming to visit and play, including many international friends. Most of them come with tour groups, which shows that this place is also well-known internationally.

The road in the base is oval-shaped. You can choose to walk or take the scenic sightseeing bus without going back. It costs an additional 10 yuan. It is recommended to walk. There are bamboo forests on both sides of the road. The environment is beautiful. You will not miss any scenery if you play slowly.

If you continue walking forward, you will see a circular flowerbed with statues of giant pandas and red pandas in the middle. In addition to the large number of giant pandas that can be seen in the base, the panda cubs here are the biggest highlight. Basically, people who come here come to see pandas in their infancy. Everyone has seen giant pandas, but not necessarily panda cubs, but you can see them here.

The establishment of the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is of great significance for the protection, rescue, feeding and breeding of giant pandas. As the ecological environment has been damaged to a certain extent, the giant pandas have lost their living environment, so those giant pandas due to lack of food are concentrated here for rescue. This not only protects the giant pandas, but also becomes a place for people to learn and study.

There are vendors selling panda-related products everywhere from the parking lot to the entrance of the base! The card is an entry-level item ~ people go from the inside to the outside. I took my friend and went straight to the Panda Post Office to send myself a postcard! There are many panda bento boxes sold in the base.

These cute guys made everyone laugh. They were much more lively than the pandas seen in Beijing Zoo. Some of them jumped up and down in their mansions. Some of them lazily ate bamboo. Some of them just sat there. So cute! Tourists were allowed to take pictures! They were so cute and their cuteness was top-notch!

Everything in the base is about ~ Panda Hospital ~ Panda Kitchen (each national treasure has its own exclusive nutritionist) ~ Panda Time Cafe ~ Even the biscuits are written with "Panda Diet". I ordered two lattes ~ The latte art on them is all cute national treasures. I love it!

Tickets can be purchased at China-TravelNote, which is five yuan cheaper than buying them on site. The earlier you go, the better. After entering, go straight to the Moon Delivery Room to see the baby pandas. The area is limited, so if there are too many people, you can only see the heads. I envied the interactions between the keepers and the pandas on the Internet. You can only rely on luck on site. It was cloudy when we went there, and the pandas were lazy. Many of them pointed their butts at people. Maybe they are tired of seeing these two-legged animals every day.

By Lion |

The most beautiful ones are the young pandas. The young ones like to sleep, while the adults only sit and eat and sleep.

There are also those who like to harass those who are asleep and those who like to protect their younger brothers and sisters when they are asleep, and there are also those who always walk alone. They all have different personalities, which is very interesting.

In addition to pandas, there are other animals and plants to see. It is worth a visit if you avoid the heat and crowds.

By Zhao Yun |

It is recommended to stay along the subway line, get up early and get off at the Panda Avenue subway station. After getting off the subway station, you can take the bus. There are also many taxi drivers soliciting passengers. They are all very cheap and it is easy to get to the entrance of the scenic spot.

You have to go around all the attractions, visiting all the way to the Moon Delivery Room and then coming back from the other end, so it is not recommended to take a sightseeing bus.

Remember to bring water and dry food. I arrived at 8:30, walked and stopped to rest, and played until 1:30 in the afternoon before going out.

You will meet many foreigners during your trip.

Pandas are very lazy and basically sleep all the time. When you see a group of people taking photos, that's where the pandas are active.

Before leaving Chengdu, I visited the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, which is located in Chengdu and is a popular attraction in the city. The park is not big but reasonable, clean and odorless. It takes 1-2 hours to take a shuttle bus directly to the top and then walk all the way down. It takes 3 hours to go deep. The pandas I saw in the Western Suburbs Zoo in Shanghai were all dull (probably too lonely). It's fun to see the pandas here. They all have their own villas and archives. It's a must-go with children.

It is not easy to visit the giant pandas. We got up early in the morning and arrived at the base before dawn, but there were still many people who arrived before us. The dormitories surrounding the giant pandas were full of people. Maybe we arrived early, and the pandas hadn't gotten up yet. Whenever we saw a panda walking in the yard, we would definitely cheer!

This may be the most popular place in Chengdu. It was packed with people and the popularity did not decrease throughout the day. When we came out of the garden at around 11 o'clock, the line was even longer. It is recommended not to join the crowd during holidays.
