It is the largest zoo in Southwest China, with green trees and beautiful scenery.
The park exhibits more than 300 species of mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and ornamental fish all year round, and you can see tigers, lions and other animals.
The most popular area is the Giant Panda Area, which covers an area of about 1,000 square meters and houses three giant pandas and three red pandas.

You can go to places where you can coax your children or not, it mainly depends on what the child wants.
The animals are very cute. There are many service points in the park, which are very convenient and can be reached by subway!
Chengdu Zoo is adjacent to Zhaojue Temple Bus Center Station, and faces Zhaojue Temple, a famous temple in western Sichuan, across the wall. It is 4 kilometers away from the city. The entire zoo covers an area of 17.73 hectares, with a green coverage rate of 88.41%. The zoo has large exhibition halls such as the panda hall, giraffe hall, lion and tiger hall, bird park, and golden monkey hall. The ticket price is 12 yuan, and the tour lasts 2-4 hours.
It is very convenient to buy electronic tickets at the zoo entrance. Even if you buy paper tickets, you don't have to wait in line for a long time. The electronic screen at the gate has a count of the number of people in the zoo. There is a seal pool in the zoo, where you can feed seals for 5 yuan per rod.
The pandas are all lazy and about to fall asleep, but the others are fine.
Chengdu Zoo is located next to Zhaojue Temple Bus Center Station. We went to the zoo because we had a dinner party at a colleague's house on the weekend. We drove from Zhonghai International in Jinniu District to our colleague's house. His family lives in a community next to Zhaojue Temple, and the only place to play nearby is the zoo. If you want to go there, you can take buses 9, 18, 32, 39, 70, and 25 to the main entrance of the park, or take buses 1, 302, and 49 to Zhaojue Temple Bus Station, and then go through Zhaojue Temple to Chengdu Zoo.
After lunch at my colleague's house and a short break, we walked to the zoo. It took more than ten minutes to get there. The ticket price was 20 yuan per person. We were all big kids, so we didn't have much enthusiasm for the zoo. But we were happy to see some small animals. The only problem was the hygiene of the zoo. Both the animal residence and the public area looked very dirty. It might be because it was hot in summer and the garbage was not cleaned up in time, which led to the poor air quality in the zoo.
The zoo is quite big, with many animals, including pandas, tigers, lions, gorillas, elephants, black bears, giraffes, hippos, monkeys, and some animals whose names I forgot. We were just walking around, so we didn't visit the whole zoo, but we were still very happy to see the tigers and giraffes. The long-tailed monkeys have really long tails. Some little monkeys were jumping up and down on the wooden racks, and some children were feeding the hippos. There are shops and places to eat in the zoo, so if you are tired, you can sit down and rest and eat something.
We stayed in there for about two hours, and it was nice to just walk around. The zoo ticket was very cheap, and it was nice to bring children to get close to the animals.
The tickets are very cheap and it is very good to bring children to popularize science
A great place to take your kids for a walk, one of the must-visit places in the local area and surrounding areas.
I went to the giant panda base before, and there were a lot of people. It can be seen that the charm of the national treasure is very strong, but the chance to see the giant panda is very small. Chengdu Zoo is worth a visit for friends who love animals. Relatively speaking, there are fewer people and more animal species. Finally, I saw four cute pandas as I wished! You can use WeChat to scan the QR code when you enter the zoo to get a voice explanation of the zoo tour, which is very convenient. There is a children's playground in the park. If you take your children to travel, you can let your children fly. Some personal ideas: 1. Some zoo wardens can be arranged. Some tourists like to feed animals and knock on the glass. More attention should be paid to managing such uncivilized behaviors to stop such behaviors. 2. Some zoo volunteers can be arranged to give some explanations to tourists and children, so that everyone can participate in the action of caring for animals and protecting nature. 3. The facilities and explanation signs are a little old, and English explanations can be added to facilitate foreign tourists. Overall, it is worth a visit. It is recommended to go in spring and autumn😊
The trip to Chengdu Zoo was worth it. It was the first time I saw so many lifelike animals that were not "textbook illustrations". I was so happy. This trip broadened my horizons and expanded my horizons. My worldview is quietly changing.
It is a very suitable place for friends living in Chengdu to hang out on weekends. The area is quite large and there are many kinds of animals. Personally, I like to watch giraffes the most. It is very cute and suitable for taking beautiful photos.
The zoo is big and you can spend a long time there, but the smell of shit is a bit strong
The ticket is very cheap, 20 yuan, and the subway goes directly to the destination, which is very convenient. The little animals inside are also very cute, but the alpaca is pitiful. Black haha
Don't go during holidays. I went there today, May Day, in the afternoon. The scenic area showed that there were more than 50,000 people inside. It was so crowded that I couldn't move. I had to squeeze hard to see everything. However, the ticket was only 20 yuan, which was very cost-effective. You can bring your children there on weekdays.
Chengdu Zoo is located in the northern suburbs of Chengdu, in a horseshoe shape that half surrounds Zhaojue Temple.
There are more people than animals on weekends, so the animals are more sleepy in the afternoon.
Golden monkeys and pandas are always together; mongooses are very cute; crocodiles, snakes, and turtles are still hibernating and haven't woken up yet; two giraffes are hiding in the house, and a single giraffe is jumping on the grass; elephants only look at their butts for a long time; peacocks are very considerate and often spread their tails; Big Bear and Little Bear are shaking their heads and turning around, asking for food. Many Jiji and Maomao are making a mess.
You can feed koi and fish for seals. The food in the park is smaller and tastes worse, but the price is definitely justified.
Chengdu Zoo has a strong smell and hazy glass.
There are giant pandas in the Chengdu Zoo, which is the largest zoo in the southwest region. The ticket price is 20 yuan, which is quite affordable.
I took my baby there when he was 2 years old. With a group of other kids from my family. The zoo is still the same as I remember it.
I just think there are a lot of people, whether it's eating skewers or watching animals, it should be called a garden for people and animals. In fact, I think the animals are not only kept in captivity, but also photographed for a long time. How can they express their cuteness? Oh, the environment is so-so. Maybe it's more interesting to feed the sheep and watch them chew.
傻呆萌的代表人物,也不用介紹了,去成都,哪裡都可以不去,就是必須去培育中心。
In fact, I came to Chengdu just to see the pandas, and rarely paid attention to the zoo.
It's quite small and a bit run down. It's crowded on weekends. It's OK to take children there.
Can we install a few air conditioners indoors?
Can you clean the glass a bit?
Everything else is good, the animals are quite complete, but the infrastructure could be strengthened.
As for the zoo, I feel that zoos everywhere are all the same, there is nothing special about it. It’s just good to take the children to see the animals and get to know them.
Chengdu Zoo is a pretty affordable place, the price is cheap. It's just a bit painful to go there in the summer
There are many kinds of animals inside, and the ticket is very cheap, only 25 yuan, it is still worth a visit
Panda, panda, panda!!! Only here you can see real pandas!!!
The zoo is quite ordinary, with almost the same animals as those in other cities.
I went there specifically to see the giant pandas, but I couldn't find any photos of them. . . . Next to the north gate of Chengdu Zoo are the Goldfish Gallery, the Amphibian and Reptile House, and the Bird Garden.
There are panda pavilions, mandrill leaf monkey pavilions, antelope pavilions, golden monkey pavilions, ape pavilions, bear mountain, lemur pavilions, leopard pavilions, etc. In the innermost part of the park are giraffe pavilions, elephant pavilions, hippo pavilions, etc. There is a penguin pavilion in the west of the park. The zoo is still very large, and it is estimated that it will take a day to visit it carefully. There are fast food and other places to eat.
The national treasures are so cute! Especially the smaller pandas, they are so adorable!
The 20 yuan ticket price is really good. You get what you pay for. There were a lot of people and many animals were missing. It was more disappointing than expected.
After breakfast and check-out, we were going to the panda breeding base. We thought it would be crowded, so we chose the nearby Chengdu Zoo.
Then, there are still a lot of people.
Tickets: 20 yuan/person. 20 yuan is a good deal. I don't want to have too many people...
Snakes, turtles, various birds, black swans, red-crowned cranes, giant pandas, monkeys... etc. My daughter likes monkeys the most. She didn't want to leave after watching them for half an hour.
This was also an accident. When I went to get my hair cut, the barber strongly recommended it, saying it was a hundred times more worthwhile than the panda base. Anyway, I didn't really want to go to the panda base, so I just went to the zoo. Going to the zoo for a walk is the serious thing.
I was a little surprised when I got in. There were so many animals. I remember that monkeys were the most common in the zoo in Shenyang. I haven't seen rhinos and hippos for many years. There are flamingos, various white tigers, brown bears and lions here. I suddenly felt that the 40 RMB ticket was a great value. Forgive me for being so ignorant because I come from Northeast China.
And one last thing, last but not the least!! The tickets are cheap!!!
Haha, when it comes to holidays, the zoo is crowded and the children have fun.
It's OK. There are many animals. The giant pandas are very cute. I originally wanted to go to the breeding base, but I didn't go to the zoo. The ticket price is very cheap.
Taking the high-speed rail is the best choice for traveling with a baby, but the Chengdu Zoo North Railway Station is closer, so I chose the train.
Hearing that we were going to take a train and see many small animals, the little guy was of course very excited~ Actually, my second dad also took me to the zoo twice when I was a child, and at that time he asked me to bring paper and pen to write down the name of each animal. In fact, I felt that many words were difficult to write~ But at that time, I received a lot of praise from uncles and aunts~ I was so happy~(*^__^*) Hehe... Now it seems very meaningful, but our baby is still too young. Even if he grows up, I guess he may not have such a heart~ The animals I see now are mostly different from what I saw back then. Almost all of them are surrounded by glass. I seem to have seen somewhere that because many tourists feed animals, they either hit the animals and hurt them, or feed them inedible things, for various reasons, so now many of them are surrounded by glass~
There were a lot of tourists and a rich variety of animals, but the giant panda was too lazy and was always sleeping, and the tiger was so thin that it made people feel distressed. I couldn't help but be critical of it.
I went to Chengdu Zoo in the afternoon, but I didn't see any pandas.
You can see the national treasure with a ticket price of 20 yuan.
You're not going?!
I originally planned to go to the panda base, but my classmates said the zoo was also good, so we went to the zoo. There were many kinds of animals, and the tickets were very cheap. I paid 10 yuan for a student ticket, but!! I only saw one panda inside, lying there with its face covered and its legs spread out, motionless. It was the strangest animal in this zoo. After I came back, I still planned to go to the panda base again. After all, I just wanted to see the pandas move and play. I didn’t see any of the pandas in the zoo, and there was only one. I was a little disappointed, but the other animals were pretty good. There were my most swaying elephants, a couple of South China tigers showing their affection, a lonely monkey looking up at the sky at a 45-degree angle, a swan looking for death that I want to eat in my territory, a duck that swims behind its mother, and Mr. Crispy Noodles. My favorite was the lemur. The tigers and lions here are caged, unlike the Qinling Wildlife Park, where they are free-range and you can take a car to see them, but it’s also fun~ In short, it’s pretty good, but friends who really want to see pandas should choose the breeding base. 😊
In order not to waste the trip, I went there in the rain. Fortunately, the hotel was only 300 meters away from Chengdu Zoo. When I arrived, I found that there were still many people even in the rain. Oh, it was the first day of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, so the flow of people was not large. The ticket cost 20 yuan. After browsing, I felt it was worth it, better than many zoos.
The panda base is too far away, so just seeing the animals is enough, and the ticket price is cheap, and there are all kinds of animals!
Good scenic spot, I think it is worth visiting to appreciate the national treasure.
Chengdu Zoo is located between the North Second Ring Road and the Third Ring Road in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, on the right side of Chuanshan Road, close to Zhaojue Temple Bus Center Station, across the wall from Zhaojue Temple, a famous temple in western Sichuan, and 4 kilometers away from the city. The whole park covers an area of 17.73 hectares, with a green coverage rate of 88.41%. Chengdu Zoo was founded in 1953 and is a deficit budget institution approved by the Chengdu Municipal Editorial Committee. After nearly 50 years of construction and development, more than 30 groups of animal houses of various shapes have been built. It has become a special park that exhibits more than 300 species and more than 3,000 rare and endangered wild animals under national protection, such as various mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and ornamental goldfish all year round. It receives 1.8 million visitors a year and is the largest zoo in the southwest region, ranking fourth among the top ten zoos in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc.
I went there during the May Day holiday last year. There weren't that many tourists. The tickets were very cheap. Behind the tickets was a distribution map of the various animals, which was very convenient to check.
Chengdu Zoo has famous pandas, attractive scenery and clean air
There are many animals and they are very big. It is just far from the city center, but the environment and greenery are very good.
I went to see the giant pandas and found that the red pandas were cuter
Chengdu Zoo is located between the North Second Ring Road and the Third Ring Road of Chengdu, on the right side of Chuanshan Road, close to Zhaojue Temple Bus Center Station, and across the wall from Zhaojue Temple, a famous temple in western Sichuan. It is the largest zoo in the southwest. There are goldfish gallery, amphibian and reptile hall, bird garden, panda hall, mandrill leaf monkey hall, antelope hall, golden monkey hall, ape hall, bear mountain, lemur hall, leopard hall, giraffe hall, elephant hall, hippopotamus hall, penguin hall, and the mythical animal - alpaca. The zoo is basically separated by glass, which can see the animals very clearly. Unfortunately, there are fewer pandas and too many people watching. At noon, tigers and other animals were sleeping again. There are also amusement facilities in the park. The greening is very good, you can play slowly in it, and you can also learn some animal knowledge. It is a good place to take children to play.
I don't know if I'm just a directionally challenged person or if the route is a bit off. It was inconvenient to find an animal. I had to go around and around. It was inconvenient to get on and off the stroller in many places. I felt like I had walked through some places repeatedly, but I never saw some. And the time I went there was probably not the right time. They were all in a state of sleeping after eating. Occasionally, one or two animals were in better spirits. There were a lot of people. My husband went to the front with the baby in his arms, and I could only watch the stroller and backpack behind and watch many people crowded together. Be sure to pay attention to the many thieves. Be careful with your wallet.
A good place to take children to play on weekends. There is a small children's playground inside.
The ticket price seems to be 20, which is a good price. There are many animals, especially the 🐒. There are so many kinds! It's worth a visit!
The tickets are cheap and the area inside is quite large. The animals are quite common, including chickens, pigs and the like. What impressed me most was the penguins roasting in the fireplace!
Only here can you see the cute pandas at various stages of their growth. They are most active in the morning, and in the afternoon you can only admire their sleeping postures. However, their sleeping postures are very unique and funny. Some are lying on their backs, some are lying on their backs, and some are curled up in a ball. They are shown to tourists without reservation. I love them!
The cute young pandas, some of them are minors, chubby and cute, and you will be melted by their cuteness just by looking at them. But Shanzi said that although they are cute, they can bite people and are very fierce.
Continue to visit other pavilions. The giant panda base is very large and it takes most of the day to visit it.
After walking for a long circle, although I was tired, I didn't want to leave when I saw the cute pandas. I felt fluffy inside just looking at them. Although the weather was scorching, I felt very happy. They are adorable animals that are worthy of being named national treasures. Watching them on TV is completely different from seeing them in person. The giant pandas in the zoo are also very lazy. They stay in the air-conditioned room in summer without moving. The weather here in early May is just right. It will be hot but still cool in the shade. The giant pandas are also very cooperative and are active outdoors, so this tour is still worthwhile.
My parents and sister have all come to Chengdu. I am about to graduate. I am grateful for them staying with me.
It seems that many people come to Chengdu Zoo for the giant pandas, because this is the hometown of giant pandas. The zoo is not very big, but there are so many kinds of animals. You can visit them in half a day. The ticket is not expensive, it seems to be about 15 yuan, which is much cheaper than Beijing and Qinhuangdao. It may be because the zoo is not big. It is more suitable for bringing children. It is best not to come when it is very hot or very cold. Animals also know the temperature. They will not come out when the weather is bad. It is a loss if you come here and don’t see anything. It seems that animals are not afraid of people. It feels a bit welcoming. Overall, it is still recommended.
1. Transportation: You can take bus No. 9 or No. 18 and get off at the main entrance of the zoo, which is very convenient.
2. Play experience: It feels more suitable for family travel or couples. The environment of the zoo is very good. The green coverage rate in the park is very good. The air is relatively fresh and smells like grass. You can bring a small bag of bread to feed the koi. It is particularly spectacular when feeding. You can see cute pandas inside. They are really cute national treasures. Some are cute and cute. You can also see various animals, including rhinos and brown bears. It is recommended not to go at noon. At noon, the animals don’t feel very lively and look a little wilted. The cages in the park are very clean and tidy, but I still feel that the little animals are so pitiful.
3. Travel suggestions: There is an amusement park nearby and the tickets to the zoo are not very expensive, but the prices of items in the zoo are still relatively expensive. It is best not to spend too much money there, after all, the prices are doubled.
I really don't want to go to the zoo. I went there when I came to Chengdu in high school. How should I put it? If you were asked to go to the park, would you go? But then again, this is a place suitable for the whole family. The things that the elderly and children want to see are definitely different from what we want to see. When the family is together, it is also good to think more about the family.
The first time I went to Chengdu, I went to the Chengdu Zoo with my friends. I didn’t buy a camera at that time, so I took pictures with my mobile phone, but the pixels were low.
We had originally planned to visit the Chengdu Zoo and then go to the Giant Panda Breeding Base which was more convenient. However, it was a little late when we came out of the Chengdu Zoo, and we estimated that it would be closed by the time we took the bus, so we gave up.
I remember that the ticket for Chengdu Zoo was 16 yuan at that time. It was very large and had a wide variety of animals, including birds, beasts, and polar animals. It was a great place for people of all ages.
There are not many food items for sale in the zoo and they are expensive, so it is better to bring some food and drinks with you when you go!
Zhaojue Temple is right next to the zoo, and you can walk directly from the zoo to Zhaojue Temple. I remember the ticket price was about 2 yuan.
Chengdu Zoo is a comprehensive zoo. Most of the common animals on the earth are basically here. The park is also relatively large. The ticket price is 20 yuan/person. It is still very interesting to bring children here for a day. It can teach children to know many animals. It’s just that this place is not suitable for summer. The weather is too hot in summer, and the smell of animals in the zoo is very strong and not very pleasant. The most eye-catching thing in the park is the panda house, which is crowded every day. There are many buses from the city to the zoo, and taking a taxi is not too expensive. If you drive by yourself, you have to leave early. The parking lot of the zoo is very small and the capacity is limited. If you go late, you can’t find a parking space and can only park in a place slightly farther away nearby.
Although the Chengdu Zoo is relatively small, it has all kinds of animals, and it is very concentrated, which makes it very convenient to visit. It is also recommended for those who have time. You can finish the visit in one hour.
Chengdu Zoo is on the right side of Chuanshan Road, next to Zhaojue Temple Bus Center Station. The zoo is pretty good. The ticket is 20 yuan. There are many animals in the zoo, including giant pandas, red-crowned cranes, elephants, giraffes, lions, tigers, leopards, hippos, sea lions, etc. There are flying animals, swimming animals, and running animals on the ground. It is quite economical. The important thing is that you can see giant pandas here. If you don’t have enough time to play, you don’t have to go to the panda base specifically. If you go in summer, some places have a strong smell. After all, so many animals may not go to the toilet by themselves. = = The double-layer iron fences at the visiting places of the lion, tiger, leopard and other animal houses in the zoo have been converted into large floor-to-ceiling glass windows, so that tourists can observe the animals more clearly, bringing people and animals closer. The key point! I saw penguins at that time. It was so hot that I almost doubted whether they were from Antarctica. The hippopotamus was also super cute. They opened their mouths and leaned on the glass to ask tourists for food. The tiger seemed a little thin on the butt. I wondered if it didn’t eat well. Large animals usually have two of them, so they won’t be lonely. The zoo actually has an amusement park, which feels out of place. The antelope pavilion has created an ecological environment similar to the animal habitat by piling up mountains, stacking stones, and landscaping, forming a three-dimensional picture with bright colors, strong three-dimensional sense, and changing colors in four seasons, which has the characteristics of modern garden landscape. Walking in it, I saw takins leisurely walking on the grass, and Indian blackbucks playing and chasing each other.
This is an old zoo that has been around for many years. It has been renovated a lot, but I still don't feel like visiting it again. I used to come here often when I was a kid, but it's been a decade since then. I went there again in 2009 to bring a good friend who had never been to a zoo to see the animals. There was nothing surprising about it after a decade, and there is still room for improvement.
The ticket price for Zhaojue Temple is 12 yuan per person. There is no discount for student ID cards. Only the disabled and military ID cards can get discounts.
Like most zoos, the animals are lazy and listless. The pandas are interesting, holding bamboo as sugar cane and eating leisurely. But it is still a good place to bring children. The ticket is 20 yuan, and the food in the park is cheap. Xiangpiaopiao milk tea and hot water are 4 yuan. I almost thought I heard it wrong.
The zoo (I originally planned to go to the panda base, but then I thought there was also a zoo so I didn’t go), it’s good to be able to see everything
The zoo ticket is super cheap, 20 yuan per ticket, but I regretted it a little when I saw the panda. The panda was dirty and I almost felt depressed. However, the ticket is cheap and there are still many kinds of animals.
Chengdu Zoo is located in the north of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, across the wall from Zhaojue Temple, a famous temple in western Sichuan, 4 kilometers away from the city. It exhibits more than 3,000 animals of 300 species. It is the largest zoo in the southwest region and one of the top ten zoos in China.
There are quite a few animals in Chengdu Zoo, but I didn't see many at the time. Some animals were nowhere to be found. Due to time and weather reasons, most of the large animals are indoors. This kind of zoo is only suitable for children to visit
There are still quite a lot of animals, but maybe because the weather is too hot, many animals don’t move much. In fact, looking through the glass at those animals that have lost their freedom, I feel really bad!
There are many rare animals in the zoo, many of which I saw for the first time, which was very nice. There were a lot of children ~ but when I went there, the pandas were sleeping and ignored me.
I can't remember the last time I went to Chengdu Zoo, probably in the winter of 1998. The ticket was 5 yuan then, but now it's 16 yuan. The messy perimeter of the park has become clean and tidy, and the appearance has been completely changed.
Today's park is less crowded and noisy, and it's very relaxing to play. But the animals are either too old or too dirty, and they stare at the people passing by with dull expressions. Maybe they also yearn for freedom and happiness in their hearts.
There are many kinds of animals, and it was fun to play with them.
I wanted to get up early in the morning to visit the Chengdu Zoo, but I slept until the afternoon. It was already 2 o'clock when I arrived at the zoo, and I started a half-day trip to recall my childhood memories.
Mainly I wanted to see flamingos and pandas. There are many animals in the park. Tickets are 20/person, which is quite cheap. It is also close to the botanical garden, so you can go there together.
