Dagu Glacier is located in Heishui County, Aba Prefecture. Its highest point is over 5,000 meters above sea level. The top of the mountain is covered with snow all year round. You can see the spectacular beauty of colorful forests here in November in autumn. In winter, it is suitable for extreme sports such as ice climbing. The three most spectacular glaciers are glaciers 1, 2, and 3, which were formed hundreds of millions of years ago. You can take the sightseeing cableway from Yingbin Lake to the high-altitude glacier 1. There are more than 200 glacial lakes between the glaciers, which are clear and beautiful. Every autumn, Dagu Glacier will hold the "Glacier Colorful Forest Festival", which is worth a visit. The surrounding accommodation and catering are well developed.

I have always wanted to see the sea of clouds, so I signed up for a tour group. Although I spent most of the time in the car, it was worth it to see such a beautiful view! The wind was strong and cold at the top of the mountain. Although Haibo is 4,860 meters, I had intermittent breathing difficulties because the oxygen was too thin. So if you want to take beautiful photos there, I suggest you buy oxygen bottles in advance! Standing on the top of the mountain overlooking the scenery, it is really beautiful!
When you arrive at some beautiful scenery in person, you will feel that all the hard work is worth it.
We took the cable car to the top of the mountain. It was very cold and windy. A gust of wind mixed with snow blew into my face. It felt colder than Siberia in winter. I forgot to bring gloves and my hands were frozen red, but I still wanted to raise my camera and press the shutter.
Dagu Glacier is not very famous yet. In addition, it is at a high altitude and far away, so there are not many tourists even during holidays. When there are too many tourists, the experience will always be greatly reduced. Cherish those attractions that are not yet popular.
Heavy snow covered the plank road, the crescent moon was still hanging in the air, and there was white snow all around.
When I was sitting in this coffee shop on the top of a mountain at 4,840 meters, looking at the ferocious expressions of the people outside the floor-to-ceiling windows in the wind, I felt particularly happy.
Yes, there is a coffee shop at the top of the mountain, which is said to be the highest coffee shop in the world. The fact that the coffee is lukewarm is not important, but the view of the endless icebergs is unforgettable.
Other scenic spots rent out ethnic costumes and costumes of emperors and princesses. I think we can start a project here to rent out hiking shoes, jackets, trekking poles and backpacks. I must wear a full set of hiking equipment and stand here to take a photo, pretending that I climbed up here myself.
The glacier with magnificent scenery in life is recommended by me. It is a must-see on the way, but it is a little lacking if you make a special trip. It is for reference only.
In 1992, scientists discovered the Dagu Glacier on a satellite.
Located at the northern end of the middle section of the Hengduan Mountains on the southeastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, at the junction of the Min Mountains and the Qionglai Mountains, it is a high mountain canyon area where the mountains on the northwestern edge of the Sichuan Basin transition to the plateau hills.
In August of the same year, scientists climbed the Dagu Glacier and conducted a week-long survey. They concluded that the Dagu Glacier is the lowest glacier in the world (5,100 meters above sea level), the largest in area, the youngest, and the closest to the city.
Dagu is a typical representative of small mountain glaciers. The 11 marine mountain glaciers in the area and the Xuebaoding Glacier constitute an extremely important glacier area at the easternmost edge of Asia. It is also the easternmost area of China where marine glaciers are developed.
As shown in the picture above, this is the original color of the glacier. The special geological structure here is the structure of glacier + rock. The weathered rock dust will cover the glacier.
Even on ordinary glacier tongues there is normally some dust.
Most of the so-called white and spotless glacier tongues are post-processed.
I don't want to do any special photoshop on the glacier here.
"Looking at the glacier from the sky, Dagu is the most majestic in the world, the maple leaves intoxicate the distant visitors, and the sound of waves makes you fall in love with the long wind." Dagu Glacier is a national 4A-level scenic spot, located on the Dagu Snow Mountain in Sandagu Village, Luhua Town, Heishui County, at an altitude of 3,800 to 5,100 meters. It is less than 20 kilometers from Cailin Valley to the gate of Dagu Glacier Scenic Area.
The mysterious Dagu Glacier is said to be hundreds of millions of years old, silently telling the process of its development and formation and the changes of hundreds of millions of years. The top of Dagu Snow Mountain is covered with snow all year round, and modern mountain glaciers with a thickness of 60 to 200 meters have developed on the north and south slopes of the snow mountain. Among them, three sections of glaciers, namely Glaciers 1, 2, and 3, cover an area of about 8.25 square kilometers.
This is a route that the travel agency has strongly recommended. We went there late and there was no parking space in the parking lot, so we had to leave with regret. We look forward to arriving earlier next time.
There are many rare animals living around the Dagu Glacier Scenic Area, such as golden monkeys, bison, musk deer, argali, Liangzhu birds, etc. You can often see them taking leisurely walks on the mountain ridges or frolicking in groups, adding infinite vitality to this ancient glacier that is hundreds of millions of years old.
We encountered many monkeys, who were not afraid of people and played around without restraint.
It is said that this is a Tibetan macaque, which is a species unique to China and the largest species of the Chinese macaque genus. These monkeys live in rocky environments in mountain broad-leaved forests, and live in groups of a dozen or twenty or thirty, with 2-3 adult male monkeys as leaders in each group.
Dagu Glacier is located in Heishui County. As a popular scenic spot in recent years, the scenic area has alpine meadows, clear lakes, dense forests, magnificent snow-capped mountains, and a high view. When entering the scenic area, take a sightseeing bus up the mountain, stop at several viewing points to see the meadows and lakes, and finally reach the cable car. Then take the cable car directly to the highest point of 4,860 meters above sea level to get close to the glacier. It is recommended to reserve most of the day for the tour. Evan reminds: Since the highest point of Dagu Glacier is nearly 5,000 meters above sea level, friends who are worried can prepare altitude sickness medicine and oxygen cylinders in advance (available in the scenic area). It is not necessary for strong friends, it is not that exaggerated.
The first stop of the trip to western Sichuan is Dagu, the world's lowest and youngest billion-year-old glacier.
The world's highest-altitude ropeway and cafe are even more romantic if they are accompanied by snow-capped scenery.
The cable car reaches a high point of 4,860 meters. "The Captain" records the legend of Sichuan Airlines and adds film and television colors to the Dagu Glacier, attracting tourists to check in.
Transportation strategy: Located in Heishui County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, if you drive there, remember to locate the "Dagu Glacier Scenic Area Parking Lot". The provincial road from Chengdu to Heishui County via Maoxian is really dangerous. The unfinished tunnel, the road surface that has become potholes due to rockfall and mudslides, and the dusty and unbuffered steep slopes, the last few dozen kilometers of this 6-hour drive almost burned out my and my friends' enthusiasm for travel. (If you don't have a firm determination, you'd better give up going with a group or a bus, after all, driving by yourself is already very uncomfortable)
Tips for the scenic spot: It is recommended to buy a package ticket (ticket + round-trip sightseeing bus + round-trip cable car, official booking price is 370 yuan, travel agencies or Heishui County hotels may have preferential prices so you can pay attention in advance), make an appointment in advance on the official WeChat account, and you can buy tickets as early as 14 days in advance. You can enter the scenic spot directly with your ID card.
Ticket checking time in autumn and winter: 8:00-16:00 (the scenic spot may be closed in December and January, please pay attention to the official website for updates)
The scenic area parking lot does not allow cars to be left overnight, so security guards will come to clear the area before 20:00.
I went there in September. It was my first time to get close to a glacier, which was a dream come true, because nowadays there are fewer and fewer glaciers to be seen, from No. 1 to August 1.
The entire national highway leading to the scenic area is under construction. I wonder how it is this year.
Accommodation recommendation: Yangrong Had, a new-age Tibetan community, is worth a visit and the breakfast is well-received.
The choice of oxygen tank depends on personal needs. Once you start breathing, you can’t stop.
The cable car is well received, the ride is comfortable and the ventilation design is relatively scientific.
When I heard that the tickets to the scenic spot needed to be booked the day before, I was shocked! I called the scenic spot to verify it, and they said the same thing. I was so depressed! How could we come here on such a bad road?
I rushed to the ticket office to try my luck, and was told that I could buy tickets on the spot!!! Thank God!
I guess it's the off-season so there's no need to book in advance, but it should be necessary in the peak season? Because the top of the snow peak is not very large, maybe it's to control the flow of people?
Tickets + sightseeing bus + cable car = 370 yuan, and parking is charged separately.
The sightseeing bus travels more than 30 kilometers, stopping at five or six scenic spots such as Jinhou Lake, Zenacuo, Red Army Bridge, Dagu Lake, etc., and finally reaches the lower station of the cableway (3,610 meters above sea level), and then takes the world's highest cableway directly to the top of the mountain (4,860 meters above sea level, if you are worried, it is best to prepare oxygen cylinders). The vertical height difference of the cableway is more than 1,200 meters, and the one-way trip takes about 15 minutes.
The scenic spots where the sightseeing bus stops are unremarkable. It still fits the saying - after Jiuzhaigou, you can't see water!
At the top of the mountain at 4,860 meters, the sea of clouds is quite spectacular.
August is the worst time to visit Dagu Glacier! There is not much snow on the top of the mountain, and even the glacier is almost gone.
The scenery along the mountain road is beautiful, and there is a chance to see golden monkeys. The top of the mountain is beautiful but not as expected. The temperature difference between the top and the bottom of the mountain is huge, so you need to pay attention to keep warm. If you want to travel light, there seems to be thick clothes for rent at the top of the mountain. You can't drive in the scenic area, you can only take the scenic area shuttle bus, there is a parking lot, and the parking fee is 20. It was when I took the cable car to the top of the mountain that I started to feel altitude sickness, so I didn't enjoy the beautiful scenery on the top of the mountain and left hastily
The scenery was amazing, and as far as the eye could see, all you could see was the top of the glacier, and it felt like you were on top of the world.
Although the coffee in the cafe is average, it provides a good resting space and viewing platform.
The gate of Dagu Glacier Scenic Area is only ten kilometers away from Heishui County.
But you still have to take a sightseeing bus and cable car to go deep into the scenic area.
Although in theory the entrance ticket, sightseeing bus, and cable car ticket can be purchased separately,
But the reality is that the scenic area is too large, and if you don’t buy it, you probably won’t reach the top of the mountain even if you walk for a whole day.
Moreover, the hiking route from the cable car station to the mountain has been under maintenance, and it is basically impossible to climb the mountain.
Moreover, if you want to climb a mountain above 3,500 meters, you must first ask your pounding heart whether it agrees.
Therefore, package tickets are the only option during the off-season. During the peak season, sightseeing bus tickets can be purchased depending on the situation.
There are several scenic spots on the way to Dagu Glacier. The sightseeing bus will stop at each scenic spot for everyone to get off and take photos.
These scenic spots are rare and common in Tibetan areas. Maybe it will be different when the colorful forests appear in autumn.
But there is a spot, it seems to be called Hongyunlai? This place will look particularly beautiful when photographed.
Of course, these stones are not actually that red. As for the photos, everyone knows.
Not far from the mountaintop cable car station is an ice lake with large chunks of floating ice.
Lying quietly in the lake, faint blue light patterns can be seen through the cracks in the floating ice.
It seems to be quietly telling people about its glorious past.
According to locals, in the early years, Dagu Glacier was the real glacier.
There was a thick wall of ice on the mountain, but unfortunately it seems to have melted away in the past few years.
In fact, the blue effect in the photo cannot be seen with the naked eye, so those who have been there in person may be disappointed.
There is a winding wooden walkway along the ice lake in the scenic area. It is covered with ice and snow all year round, which adds a cool feeling in the hot summer.
(PS: If the sun is out, it is really recommended to apply high-factor sunscreen or wear a hat or something.
Otherwise, you will feel the judgment of the sun like a sword! In less than 2 hours, your face will be burned by ultraviolet rays.
What follows is shedding, layer after layer... Avoid running and jumping when walking at high altitudes. When you feel your heartbeat is particularly fast, you must stop and rest.
Wait until your heartbeat calms down before continuing. Altitude sickness is no joke.)
There are actually two lakes next to the scenic area that are many times larger than the Ice Lake. From the satellite map, they look like gemstones.
The straight-line distance from the cable car station is about 1.8 kilometers. You can walk there, but it is very tiring. I suggest that the scenic area be well developed.
The scenic spot built a cafe on the second floor of the cable car station, claiming to be the loneliest cafe at the highest altitude.
As a conclusion, I would like to compose a poem to dedicate this cafe to those who took the time to read the reviews!

Lonely soul!
You are the embodiment of snow-capped mountains.
A thousand years of cold,
It’s your silent language.
You are the thoughts scattered on the earth,
You are the soul of a lost world.
You hide in the clouds,
You hide in the wind,
Quietly, quietly, spread your thoughts to the world.
We were really lucky to go to Dagu this time. We checked the weather forecast before going there, but it rained heavily in the afternoon when we arrived in Heishui. We were all worried about the weather the next day. We were so happy to see the sun when we woke up the next morning. We set out at 8:30 to pick up the tickets at the entrance of Dagu Iceberg Scenic Area. We bought the tickets online and there were discounts for booking in advance. It takes about an hour to get to the cable car. There was slight tinnitus and chest tightness during the climb, but it was fine after we got used to it at the top of the mountain. Really, you will find it worthwhile when you get there. Since May to August is the flood season, we encountered landslides, falling rocks, and mudslides passing through people's homes in Wadi Township on our way back, so you must pay attention to safety during this period.
The green mountains and clear waters of Dagu in May, and there are not many tourists in May. They all say that Dagu from mid-October to mid-November will make you forget time and everything; red maples and glaciers are different beautiful scenery.
We stayed in the Tibetan village of Qicaijiazu, which is also famous for its red maples. There is also a Yangronghad nearby that you can visit. Sunglasses, sunscreen and hats are essential items for Aba tourism.
It just so happens that the 18th is my birthday, and my friends secretly prepared a surprise for me, which touched me so much❤️❤️
Take the world's highest cableway.
Travel through Asia’s largest colorful forest.
To the loneliest cafe in the world,
Enjoy the view of the youngest, most beautiful, lowest and largest glacier in the world...!
Dagu Glacier has been praised numerous times
"China's first colorful glacier and snow paradise"
“The most attractive new beauty in Sichuan”
“Sichuan’s Best Holiday Destination”
“Best destination for viewing autumn leaves”…
But he has always been very low-key, and few people know about him because of lack of publicity.
This paradise on earth is not in the wilderness or at the end of the world. It is more than 200 kilometers away from Chengdu. It is the closest glacier to the city! You can visit it in 2 days starting from Chengdu!
Thank you very much for the two-day trip to Dagu Glacier with Yun Duo. Miss Yun Duo explained very patiently and arranged the pick-up, play, food and accommodation very well! Looking forward to meeting a more beautiful trip next time!
The scenery is beautiful, the top of the mountain is very steep, please wear windproof clothing and pay attention to whether you have altitude sickness
It is very beautiful when you go up there. When the weather is good, you can see far into the distance. There are glaciers and lakes, and the scenery is stunning. The supporting facilities are complete.
You must arrive at the scenic spot before 13:00, as you will not be allowed to enter after 13:00.
We went to Dagu Glacier on December 1st, and the entire scenic area was already covered in snow.
The sightseeing bus goes all the way to the cableway, and on the cableway is the highest altitude cafe
There will be altitude sickness, don't jump around too excitedly
Very beautiful, best to go in autumn and winter, check in the loneliest cafe in the world
The scenic area is rich in snow peaks, glaciers, colorful forests, Tibetan culture, lakes, and wild animal and plant resources. It is the best destination for you to watch mountain flowers in spring, ice in summer, red leaves in autumn, and snow in winter! Go into ancient times and explore the origins, so the "Dagu Iceberg" got its name.
The nearest glacier to Chengdu has snow on the top of the mountain that never melts all year round. Not far away is the Sergu Tibetan Village, which you can also visit.
The scenery is amazing~
I was surprised that such a great place is not well-known. Even the nearby Naizigou is more famous than Dagu. It is so hidden.
Compared to the torture in Daocheng later, this was much easier, and the world's highest cafe is really worth a visit.
It was very windy on the top of the snow mountain, but the weather was good with high visibility. The coffee on the top of the mountain was priced at 45 per cup, instant coffee...
Knee-deep snow, clouds in the sky, and the aftertaste of highland barley butter
The snowstorm was scary, but the sun was shining beautifully later, and the cable car closed too early.
Low-key and beautiful, so spectacular, very worthwhile, very worthwhile, I will definitely come again next time
Glacier Brownies
Aba Prefecture, Heishui County, Dagu Glacier, 7 hours of driving, 15 degrees below zero cold, riding the world's highest cableway, I raised my personal record from 4400 meters to 4860 meters. I stayed on the top of the snowy mountain with thin air for an hour, saw the blue glacier, saw the flying eagles, I had nothing to do on the top of the mountain, but I suffered from altitude sickness two hours after going down the mountain. I wanted to vomit but couldn't, wanted to sleep but couldn't, and felt nauseous. What supported me to go down was my extremely strong will. After returning to Shanghai, I will eat a large cup of blizzard with brownie.
Tickets are 60 yuan, sightseeing buses are 70 yuan, and cable cars are 180 yuan. The sightseeing buses in the scenic area did not stop at the scenic spots marked on the tickets for tourists to visit. The service was insufficient. This was the first problem. When taking the cable car, there was someone checking tickets when going up the mountain, but no one was managing the way down the mountain. The safety of tourists' lives and property was ignored at such a high altitude. This was the second problem. At the top of the peak, a tourist's sunglasses fell off the guardrail, and he borrowed an iron rod from the staff to pick it up, but was extorted 100 yuan. This was the third problem. All these things, is this the quality of a national 4A scenic spot?
During the National Day holiday, there were quite a lot of tourists in the Dagu Glacier Scenic Area. Both the tour bus and the cable car had to queue up a little bit, and the cable car queued for about 1.5 hours. The beautiful scenery you saw after the comparison was worth it. The scenic area is actually very large. This is where the Red Army crossed the snow-capped mountains during the Long March. We passed the Red Army Bridge and the ancient Tibetan village, but because we were eager to see the ice and snow, we had no time to see other scenery. The bus took us straight to the top of the mountain. When we were queuing for the cable car at the top of the mountain, it snowed heavily, and the beautiful hexagonal snowflakes were very pleasing. The Dagu Glacier Cable Car costs 180 yuan for a round-trip ticket. Each cable car can seat 8 people. It is a bit exciting to rise 1,000+ meters in 14 minutes. This is also the highest cable car in the world. I saw the heavy snow that I haven't seen for a long time at the top of the mountain. It's really crazy. The challenge of 4,860 meters was successful. Next time, I can bravely head to Tibet. When I arrived at the upper station of Dagu Glacier, there is the world's highest cafe. Fearing altitude sickness, you have to walk slowly step by step. After passing the rest area with various instant noodles and snacks, you go up to the second floor and arrive at the cafe. There are many people resting inside. There are also a few girls sleeping at the table next to you, and they are also showing a deep plateau red. Tips: If you can bear it when entering the plateau, don't fall asleep! After drinking a cup of coffee, the whole body is warm. I feel dizzy after sitting for a long time. The snow has a strong ability to reflect sunlight, and my eyes can't stand it, so I have to move around in time. Remember to bring sunglasses and scarves! Because of the heavy snow and fog, it is white everywhere. The scenery in the distance is not very clear. I have no time to look for glaciers when I have fun. Follow the cable car down the mountain and slowly transition to the green vegetation area. You can see autumn and winter in one day.
The scenery is beautiful, the world's highest cableway, the highest altitude cafe ~ picturesque ~ a vast expanse of white, although the fog has not yet dispersed, but the feeling of walking in the snow is really good. And the flying snowflakes are hexagonal, this is the first time I have seen it. The scenic area does not provide hot water service, and the facilities are average. If you choose Dagu Glacier and Bipenggou, you can only go to Dagu Glacier, the ticket and the sightseeing bus and cableway are 299 tickets, and you must buy the cableway to reach the top.
It's not the right time. It should be late autumn or early winter.
The snow on the Dagu Glacier in August has melted, and the glacier is also disappearing seriously. I was a little disappointed that I didn't see any snow. You need to take a bus to the scenic area first. There are many lakes along the way. The driver will ask for everyone's opinions to stop and take pictures. Then arrive at the cable car station. After taking the cable car up, the altitude is more than 4,700. There is a lake under the glacier, which is quite beautiful. The cable car is very long, and you can see the plank road below, which is very spectacular. The most surprising thing is that we saw a double rainbow when we came down, and everyone in the car was very happy.
From the entrance of the scenic area to the cable car station, I found that it was two different seasons. The leaves outside were still green, but here the forests were dyed with colors, with distinct layers, like a watercolor painting. I just regretted that my eyes were not enough. And I could only watch from the bus, and could not stay, which was a pity!
Like most scenic spots, you need to take a sightseeing bus to get into the scenic area after getting the ticket. Most scenic spots have gates built far away, so that they can collect an extra sightseeing bus fee and generate income for the local tourism industry. I don't dislike sightseeing buses because the scenery along the way is beautiful. The sightseeing bus to Dagu Glacier is different because the sightseeing bus will stop at several scenic spots along the way to give tourists enough time to go to the toilet and take pictures.
After the sightseeing bus arrives at the end, you have to queue up to take the cable car to the top of the mountain. After getting off the cable car and walking a few steps, the top of the snow-capped mountain in the forest will appear perfectly in front of you.
Anyone going next week? Please help me with carpooling. WeChat 438700783
There was only one person in the scenic area in the morning. The driver took me to the foot of the mountain alone and took the cable car to the top of the mountain alone. There was no one in the scenic area. In the late afternoon, a little girl was taken up the mountain. The scenic area made hundreds of dollars a day. The driver joked that you are enjoying VVIP treatment today.
It took about five hours to drive here from Chengdu in the morning.
Along the way, I met two groups of Aba people who gave me blessings and red envelopes...
After lunch at Heishui, we can go up to Dagu Glacier because we can go up before 3:30. We will plan to go up the next day depending on the weather.
We set off at 8:30 and arrived at the scenic spot. We had to take the bus inside and stop at two places. One was where there were a lot of monkeys. We could buy a bag of corn for 5 yuan to feed them.
The monkeys here are not as scary as those in Emei. The monkeys here are more timid and well-behaved.
Then we stopped at a place with thick snow and drove directly to the bottom of the cable car. The cable car ride took less than 20 minutes, but the altitude rose directly.
The four of us prepared two bottles of oxygen and went up to see the snow-capped mountains, which was still spectacular.
When it is sunny, you need to wear sunglasses or it will be too dazzling.
There is also a beautiful blue sky and it is fun to take photos and play in the snow.
I wasn't feeling well that day, so I took some oxygen, went to a cafe, ate something and drank some water to relieve myself, and then went down the mountain.
If I hadn't felt a little short of oxygen, I would have stayed longer. It's beautiful and worth a visit.
I am here to announce the formation of a team. I plan to camp in Dagu Glacier and Blackwater for ten days around the Spring Festival in mid-June. If you have watched "Into the Wild", it is similar to the bus day in it. You don't need too much equipment, just a good attitude. I am a man, born in the 1990s, and I am located in Nanchong. Let's see how many days I can persist in a minimalist state! (Posting pictures to show sincerity!)
The top of Dagu Snow Mountain is covered with snow all year round. It is majestic and the peaks are staggered. They shine silvery under the sunlight, which is very spectacular.
The scenery is pretty good. The ticket prices seem to have been reduced this year.
It takes less time to drive from Chengdu than to Jiuzhaigou because the road conditions are good.
Dagu Iceberg, a wonder of the world, blue sky and white clouds, Tibetan monkeys in groups, starry sky at night, snow flying on the holy mountain, dust and smoke are all quiet, ice lake is a mirror, colorful forest is a fantasy, wandering in the mountains and forests, accompanied by red stones, known as the spring to see mountain flowers, summer to appreciate ice, autumn to taste red leaves, winter to touch the snow, 3000 meters above sea level, snow-capped mountains, holy water, spiritual springs fall into one, flying and quiet, strong and gentle, moving to stir up the traces of time, quiet to reflect the true color of the soul, the beauty of Dagu, the beauty of nature, the beauty of nature, always with hundreds of millions of years of perseverance to achieve the world's king of iceberg beauty. Strolling in the mountain stream, kissing the snow-capped mountains... the kingdom of animals, the paradise of photography.
It was so beautiful, especially when we took the cable car up the mountain. The snow looked like cream.
There is altitude sickness, easy to carry lightly. There is a cable car, it is a good choice if you want to see the snow-capped mountains, but sunglasses are a must!
It's not bad, similar to Hailuogou. Anyway, it's beautiful no matter how you take pictures at the top. The snow on the top is very thick, so you need to take the scenic sightseeing bus and cable car. It takes about 3 hours to visit the scenic area. The scenery along the way is average, and the top is good, but the altitude is a bit high, more than 4,600 meters. I took oxygen anyway.
It's really beautiful. I'll go there to experience the four seasons next time.
Is anyone traveling from Chengdu on the second day of the Chinese New Year? Is it snowing there these days? Can dogs be brought into the scenic area?
The altitude sickness is simply...
The scenery is really beautiful, fulfilling my wish of seeing snow.
We didn’t play at the top of the mountain for long, mainly because of the altitude sickness. We couldn’t do any big movements at the top of the mountain.
She is so beautiful that the camera can't capture her beauty at all! 👏👏👏
Absolutely world-class beauty! It's like being in another space, or traveling through a movie. Dagu Glacier & Snow Mountain, 4,800 meters above sea level, I conquer you! The Everest Base Camp is only 5,200 meters. Liu Xiaotuji is suffering from severe hypoxia.
The scenery is endless as you go up and down the ropeway. To combat altitude sickness, take rhodiola rosea a few days in advance and buy portable oxygen. There is a cafe on the top of the mountain. The room is not only heated but also full of oxygen. Order a cup of "real snow-top coffee" and enjoy what you see outside the window.
值得一去的地方,山頂風光無限,黑水也很有特色。
I think it's beautiful, but the ticket price is too expensive. It just needs good weather.
The tickets are a bit expensive, and the sightseeing buses don't come one after another. When we got off the bus at the scenic spot, we played around for a while and then got on the bus again. We didn't have a good time in some places. The wind was terrible when we got to the top of the mountain. It didn't snow for three days, but the snow on the top of the mountain was still very thick. It was a rip-off. A bottle of boiled water cost 20 yuan. I might have felt dizzy because I didn't sleep well at night. There were 5 of us in our group, and we brought one oxygen tank, which was a bit too little. So we didn't have a good time and got off the bus. But we saw monkeys at the exit of the ditch, they were so cute. I was still quite happy.
We were a group of four people plus two dogs. We drove from Chengdu at 6:00 am on December 30 and arrived in Heishui County at around 12 noon. Before we set off, we were all worried about whether we would encounter hidden ice on the road, but when we actually got there, the road conditions there were quite good, there was no hidden ice, and the weather was also relatively good. We booked the Aba Tibetan Family Business Hotel half a month in advance. We thought there would be a lot of people during the New Year's Day, but when we got there, we found that the hotel had four floors and only our two families had booked it. That is to say, for the entire two nights, only my family and our friend's family stayed here, and the proprietress was not there. It was a big sister next door who opened and closed the door for us. The hotel was ok, there was no air conditioning, but there were electric blankets and blankets, and no breakfast was included. It was about 2 kilometers away from Heishui County. If you want to go out for dinner, you need to drive. It is about 8 kilometers away from the Dagu Glacier Scenic Spot. I suggest that if you go in the off-season, you don't actually need to book a hotel in advance. When you arrive in Heishui County, go and see if there is a hotel you like. We ate at the top three restaurants selected on Dianping (Cuoqu Tibetan Restaurant, Plateau Beef King, Douwei Huoben BBQ), and the taste was pretty good. We set out from the hotel at 9 am on December 31st to go to Dagu Glacier Scenic Spot. We booked the scenic spot package in advance on Ctrip for 315 yuan/person. Maybe we went there on New Year's Day, which was the off-season. There were not many staff members to maintain order at the scenic spot, and the tourists were crowded in the queue. I think the scenic spot did not do well in this regard. The way to visit the scenic spot is similar to Jiuzhaigou. You take a sightseeing bus to a scenic spot, then walk to other scenic spots and take a sightseeing bus to another scenic spot. Before going up to Dagu Glacier, I suggest that you prepare oxygen cylinders, rhodiola rosea, and hot water and food. In the scenic area, only the cafe on the glacier can get hot water, but you have to pay 5 yuan. I am also drunk. Rhodiola rosea can be started one or a few days in advance, because when we took the cable car to the glacier, we began to have altitude sickness, dizziness, and difficulty breathing. We hurriedly held the oxygen cylinders on our bodies. I had been worried that my two puppies would have altitude sickness, and I prepared oxygen cylinders, glucose, and VC for them. As a result, they were in good spirits after going up, and did not have altitude sickness. However, I was afraid that they would be cold, so I didn’t let them out to step on the snow. I put them in a pet-specific backpack, but I saw other tourists walking their dogs in the snow. It feels that the glacier has begun to degenerate, and many places are not fully covered with snow. Friends in the south who have not been there are still worth a look, but those who have been there probably don’t want to go again. Because altitude sickness is really uncomfortable, attached are our travel photos, hehe.
Is there anyone going with me on February 8th or 9th? If you meet me by chance, you can say hello to me, hahahahahaha
The tickets are a bit expensive, but the service is very good, there are good explanations throughout the journey, and they will stop at each attraction to take pictures.
We went there in mid to late October. It snowed heavily that day, so we didn't see a lot of the sights. It was all white. Of course, for kids from the south, it was still very happy to see the snow.
The view should be very beautiful on a sunny day.
Pure white love, unrivaled beauty Pure white love, unrivaled beauty
I drove there from Chengdu during the Chinese New Year last year. Parking is convenient. It's so beautiful. It was like seeing the world of snow demons when I went there for the first time. I turned around and breathed in all the oxygen in my oxygen tank. It seemed like I was going to die. I think it's not necessary to go there in the off-season. The snow is very thick in winter and you have to go there in winter to see it.
As expected, it was a sunny day. On the summit of 4,800 meters, the wind was mercilessly cold, yet breathtakingly beautiful. The snow was as soft as cotton candy, and with the encouragement of the wind, the snow grains turned into shining diamonds in the sunlight.
The tickets are expensive, but the scenery on the glacier is great and magnificent. You will know the greatness of nature when you are there.
The tickets are a bit expensive, but the scenery is very beautiful and worth a visit. It is best to find more places to visit in the scenic area. There are many small places worth stopping.
This is my second time to visit Dagu Glacier. The colors of the colorful forest are richer, and the sun generously paints the mountains and fields with a layer of autumn colors, which are then reflected in Dagu Lake.
Dagu Lake is formed by the melting ice water of the thousand-year-old glacier. From the root of the word, "Da" means horse, and "Gu" means profound. I think this constitutes the picture of Dagu, with horses, sheep, lakes, villages, icebergs, various wild animals and plants, legends, and profound...
In October, the snow had already quietly laid on the mountain in Dagu. At this moment, the heavens were particularly kind to it, and it suddenly began to snow. Sitting on the cable car, driving on the world's highest cableway, straight up to 4,860 meters, watching the snowflakes gracefully dancing among the colorful forests. This is just the right kind of romance.
The cable car can seat 6 people, and it takes about ten minutes to reach the top of the iceberg. All of us couldn't help but marvel at the sight as soon as we got on the cable car, which lasted for more than ten minutes until we reached the top of the mountain.
Walking along a wooden plank road, you can see a large stone with the words "Challenge yourself, 4860 meters, Dagu Glacier Cableway - the highest in the world" engraved on it. People take photos here one after another.
There is a blue and white house on the top of the mountain. It is the highest coffee shop in the world and is also known as the loneliest coffee shop. Inside, you can drink coffee and of course breathe oxygen.
There is a long winter here with no summer, and spring and autumn are connected. The snow on the top of the mountain lasts for up to 10 months, infinitely interpreting a winter fairy tale.
It snowed last night. I just took this photo at a scenic spot near the cableway station. It's very beautiful.
The scenery is very good and worth seeing, but the entrance fee is quite high.
The overall feeling is good. It is recommended to join a hiking group or a self-driving tour. It is not interesting to go directly with the group. The scenery is good. Not many people go there during the National Day. Recommended
The world's highest cableway is worth a try. The snow-capped mountains are really beautiful.
Located in Heishui County, it is worth a visit. The sightseeing bus takes nearly an hour. It is a large scenic area with one line in and out. You need to take a cable car to the glacier, which is 4680 meters above sea level. There is still altitude sickness when you go up. We caught up with the snow just after it fell. The mountain was covered with snow and the blue sky was deep. It was worth the total ticket cost of more than 300 yuan.
The scenery from the entrance to the cable car is nice, and there are scenic spots along the way. It is not crowded during the National Day holiday. The colorful forest will appear only at the end of October. Now it is all green, which is slightly inferior. On the cable car, you can feel the high altitude and see several snow-capped mountains.
The most beautiful Dagu Glacier. It just snowed two days ago, and I saw the most beautiful glacier. When I am tired, I go to the loneliest cafe to sit, listen to soothing music, and look at the snow-capped mountains and blue sky outside the window. I feel great!
There was nothing special about the valley except a group of monkeys. It was foggy on the top of the mountain when I went there, so I didn't see any icebergs. The only thing I remember was the fees. Huanglong costs 200 yuan for tickets + 120 yuan for cableway + 10 yuan for parking + free tour bus = 330 yuan, while here it costs 120 yuan for tickets + 70 yuan for tour bus + cableway
180 yuan + 20 yuan for parking = 390 yuan. But the experience of the two is far different and cannot be compared.
It is a bit far from Chengdu, and it is a bit of a hassle to go back and forth in a weekend. Most of the time is spent on the road. When I went there, I happened to encounter snow, and accidentally saw two kinds of scenery, one autumn and one winter. The glacier was covered with snow, but it was still quite shocking when I looked at the mountains in the distance~
It rained the day I came, which is the off-season for the scenic area, but I felt the service of vvvvvvip. They chartered a car to pick me up and drop me off, and provided 1v1 tour guide service throughout the trip. Even when it rained, they provided transportation to the inn. I have to recommend the Blackwater Iceberg Inn.
I stayed here alone today. The lady boss and her mother-in-law took me to dinner and served me food several times. The cured pork ribs soup was delicious. I felt like they were my own family. I will come to Dagu again in the colorful forest season in mid-October and stay at this hotel again. The room is clean and tidy. The lady boss was afraid that I would be cold and asked me to use the remote control to turn on the air conditioner. The hot water was also very fast. The most important thing is that the internet is very good!
9.18 Happy 25th birthday to me 🎉
It's so beautiful, I must recommend it, especially when the weather is good
Tickets, sightseeing buses and cable cars are quite expensive. The highlight is that you can effortlessly go up to about 5,000 meters above the snow-capped mountains. There may not be much snow in the summer, so it is recommended to go in late autumn and early spring.
It is best to go in autumn, and you can also go to Naizigou and Miyaluo to see the maple leaves 🍁, which are really colorful. It takes 3 days to depart from Chengdu. I bought tickets and cableway tickets online in advance, which are cheaper than the ticket office. There is a parking lot at the entrance of the ticket office, and the ticket includes the sightseeing bus ticket. The sightseeing bus will stop at each scenic spot. It is recommended to sit directly at the foot of the mountain, go to the top of the mountain first, and then go to the beautiful scenery at the foot of the mountain after that. Due to the high altitude, it is recommended to prepare a bottle of oxygen. It is really tiring to take every step.
