Dangling

党岭

Dangling is an undeveloped Tibetan village, which is relatively pure and simple. The best viewing season is the end of October.
There are more than 30 misty and emerald alpine lakes here, among which the more famous ones are Ganhaizi, Huluhai and Dahaizi.
Huluhai is the easiest lake to enter and has the most scenic value, while Dahaizi is the most difficult to reach.
Dangling is most beautiful from April to May, when it is the rainy season and the mountains are covered with red Gesang flowers in full bloom.
If you go in autumn, it is best to go after October 10th, because the autumn colors in Dangling appear later than in other places.

While autumn is Dangling's most beautiful season, summer still captivated us! The only way to experience its beauty is on foot! The difficulty level is 4 stars! It rained the day we hiked, and the already poor trails became a quagmire. Here are some tips for hiking in Dangling:

1. Please wear hiking shoes or sports shoes suitable for hiking;

2. Please carry a backpack;

3. Please prepare chocolate, hot water, disposable raincoat, down jacket or fleece jacket;

4. Carry dry food with you (including at least one lunch) to replenish your energy in time;

5. Pay attention to controlling your own walking speed and do not blindly follow the speed of others;

6. When climbing a steep slope, you must go slowly and stop for a while to avoid being out of breath.

Personal experience:

Chocolate and hot water are very effective in relieving altitude sickness;

The weather in Dangling is very unpredictable, and we had to put on and take off our raincoats more than five times along the way. Even though we visited in the middle of summer, the temperature could quickly drop to 10 degrees Celsius or even below when it was cloudy or raining, so we definitely had to bring a thick coat. The sea of flowers covering the mountain was a feast for our eyes... I couldn't quite match the vibrant forests of autumn, but I was incredibly satisfied and content to experience the sea of flowers that blanketed the mountains in summer!!! The sea of flowers I saw was far more spectacular and stunning than what is captured in these photos. So much of this beauty can only be left in our memories... In our rush, we didn't take many photos along the way. With only one day to explore such a beautiful scenery, we could only glimpse it briefly!

The blue of Zhuoyongcuo is breathtakingly blue;

Compared with the beautiful and bright Hulu Lake, Zhuoyongcuo looks cold and lonely;

How many people can achieve such a high-altitude birthplace?

Lonely or cold,

The beauty of Zhuoyongcuo,

No need for worldly reviews!!!

We encountered numerous issues along the way, and the heavy snow the next day prevented us from camping at Huluhai. It was such a shame! Since it's undeveloped, outdoor novice travelers are best advised to join a tour group and never go alone, especially in winter! The paths are trodden by people, and once the snow hits, the paths disappear! Just following the footprints is unreliable! My friends and I got lost and separated! There were occasional signals in the mountains, and even shouting was inaudible. Luckily, we stayed calm and followed the right direction, so we met up at the bottom of the mountain.

Dangling Village, especially the 70-kilometer section from Danba County to Dangling Village, is full of scenery along the way, and the autumn colors are becoming more and more intense.

Dangling actually refers to three things: Dangling Mountain, Dangling Nature Reserve and Dangling Village.

By Sunny Day Pig |

It's not a fully developed area, so the tourist facilities are not complete and perfect, but because of this, it is pure natural without too many traces of human intervention, and the beauty of nature is there. The hiking is not difficult, and it is definitely worth a visit!

As a regular passenger transporter for the New Sichuan-Tibet Transport Company, we often have tourists charter our buses to visit Dangling and Moska. Danba's scenery is diverse, each with its own unique charm, showcasing a unique cultural landscape. Danba's scenery captivates visitors from far and wide.

I will go there again in the future. It's not bad. I climbed the mountain and didn't know it at all. I got up at 5 o'clock in the morning and started climbing at 6 o'clock. I missed the amber in the morning. But it was worth it to see the scenery. There are few beauties like Ding. Next time I must stay overnight at the top of the mountain

Before entering Dangling Village, someone will collect an environmental protection fee of 20 RMB per person. In fact, just treat it as an entrance fee. After all, this place does not have a clear scenic area planning, and it relies on this group of people to maintain it. However, I still want to remind everyone that even if you pay this fee, don't litter.

Those who want to drive to Dangling by themselves must remember to drive a car with a high chassis, because the last section of bad road can easily damage the chassis.

Dangling is shrouded in clouds and mist in the early morning. It is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. With snow, clouds and mist, and surrounded by mountains, it seems like a beautiful scenery that only appears in fairy tales.

Tips: For those who come to Dangling for hiking, it is not recommended to wear bright or white clothes and shoes that are not resistant to dirt, because the hiking trail is all muddy and wet.

In Dangling Village, only China Mobile has signal and internet. Don't count on any signal from China Telecom and China Unicom. On the way to Huluhai, there is basically no signal and internet, including China Mobile, so don't get lost from your group, otherwise all you can do is shout.

During the hike, I saw a lot of garbage and cigarette butts. I felt sad that such a beautiful wonderland was being ruined like this. So I would like to appeal to everyone here: please take your garbage with you and don’t litter. Of course, don’t smoke here. These are very harmful to such a pristine ecological environment. Nature needs everyone’s joint efforts to protect it.

We only entered Dangling Village. The actual Dangling is another 7km hike away. The colors might be better in late October, provided the weather is good. Otherwise, the hour-long, muddy road would make even the driver want to jump off the cliff. All photos have been edited.

By Pinellia ternata tree is not sleeping |

Hidden in the mountains, the village offers stunning scenery, nestled between mountains and rivers, perfect for hiking enthusiasts. However, transportation is a bit inconvenient: a 3-hour drive from Danba County, followed by a 50-minute drive on a muddy, bumpy road. The road conditions are poor, and low-lying vehicles are inaccessible on rainy days. Self-driving drivers are advised to charter a car from Danba to reach the village.

There are no shops or kiosks in the village, so it is recommended that you bring your own snacks and food. Accommodation is in bed-based rooms, and the conditions are a bit harsh. There is a big temperature difference between morning and evening, so please bring plenty of thick clothes.

The altitude is about 3,300 meters, and the scenery is most beautiful in June, July and late October.

The route isn't too dangerous, but the 8 kilometers are quite challenging. Meetings are difficult, the road is poor, and it's narrow. The village must manage the traffic, allowing traffic to pass in one direction. Otherwise, traffic jams are very severe. The entrance fee is 20 yuan. The village has limited accommodation capacity, so accommodation must be booked in advance. Parking in a Tibetan home costs 20 yuan. Due to the rain and snow on the second day, we couldn't reach Huluhai. We went to the No. 1 hot spring, which took two hours to walk 4 kilometers and an hour to descend. We soaked our feet in the No. 1 hot spring before descending. The fee was 10 yuan per person.

By Gardenia |

No wonder it took hours to drive. The muddy road in the middle was so bad that my SUV got stuck and stalled several times, making it difficult to move forward. Four-wheel drive was especially effective on the uphill sections. Also, many places on the way to Danba are only accessible one way, so the claim that it's a hidden gem is a lie. We spent half the trip in traffic. It was too late to visit Huluhai, so I took the hot spring route instead. The natural hot springs were truly amazing.

By Snow falling all over the sky 🌹 |

We arrived in the afternoon of the 1st to a crisp autumn day with blue skies and white clouds, but a sudden heavy snowfall fell that evening. On the morning of the 2nd, we hiked, then rode, to the airstrip, and then hiked back. Our autumn scenery turned into a snowy spectacle. Rainy and snowy, the slopes were steep and slippery. The 16-kilometer road from Lianghekou to Dangling, first dirt and then a narrow asphalt road, was prone to traffic jams.

By flea on drum |

The 50-kilometer journey from the county seat to Dangling Village takes four hours. The difficult road requires a night in Dangling Village. The next day, the horseback ride takes 2.5 hours, with some walking required. Finally, it's another 40-minute walk to Hulu Lake.

By Ono's Journey |

Hot springs, hot springs, hot springs! It's important to mention this several times. I went to Dangling mainly for the wild hot springs on the mountain, and to see the lakes. There aren't many pure natural hot springs in our country, and soaking in one is definitely more comfortable than water straight from a boiler. Lying in the hot spring pool, I gazed at the starry sky, the snow-capped mountains, and listened to the chirping of insects. It was truly relaxing. It's best to bring your own tent and sleeping bag on the mountain, though, as accommodation is limited.

By Crazy doll |

How can you see the rainbow without going through the wind and rain? I experienced pain and happiness along the way, just to see the true face of the gourd sea.

By fwt2014 |

The scenery is worth seeing, although there are ten kilometers of bad roads, which took an hour to drive on a high-speed 7.

Dangling

This is the only original and undeveloped Tibetan village in Danba area. There are many special attractions in Dangling Scenic Area, such as Ganhaizi, Huluhai and Dahaizi, which are all places worth photographing and visiting.

If we classify them according to the difficulty of the trip, Huluhai is the plateau lake that is easiest to reach on foot and has the most scenic value; Ganhaizi is the most difficult scenic spot to reach.

By Holy 🐑 |

Upon entering Dangling, each person paid a 20 yuan cleaning fee, and yet, no one cleared the mountaintop's garbage. It's truly heartbreaking to see this in such a beautiful place. I hope the fee isn't just for show, but actually contributes to environmental protection. There aren't even any trash cans along the way, and because of the cleaning fee, people assume someone will come and pick up their trash. If they can't find a place to throw it, they just throw it on the roadside, but in reality, no one does. This vicious cycle continues, with piles of garbage everywhere. The garbage isn't new, and it's unclear how long it's been there. Dangling also has hot springs.

By Pineapple pineapple~ |

It's truly pristine... Horseback riding costs 200 yuan per person. We didn't make it to Hulu Lake; it's too far, but the hot springs are amazing! The sulfur smell is quite strong... I soaked my feet and warmed up completely. It's undeveloped, so the roads are a bit difficult to navigate... It's best to leave early in the morning; leaving too late can be a bit scary. Wolves and other animals roam around at night.

By Chicken and Mushroom Stew |

The road to Dangling is now accessible by car. There is a 20 yuan environmental protection fee to enter the village.

Since we only had one day to go to Hot Spring No. 1, the road condition was bad. It is recommended to use a small off-road vehicle. A wide vehicle would be difficult to drive because it would waste tires.

By SilverRain |

A paradise-like place, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

By GILI |

A beautiful alpine village. The road conditions are not very good, so you can hike up the mountain or rent a horse. The scenery of the airport and Hulu Lake is beautiful, and there are hot springs next to the village.

By Lao Gong |

The road to the top is better than expected. Although there are 7 or 8 kilometers of dirt road, it is also possible to drive a car. You can ride a horse in the first half of the way up the mountain, but you can only walk after that. You won't regret reaching the top of the mountain. When the weather is good, the photos taken are very beautiful.

By Xiong Jianfeng |

It's a beautiful place with few people, so there's no entrance fee. There's a 20 yuan per person environmental protection fee to enter the village. I visited Dangling on October 19, 2017. There's only 8 kilometers of poorly maintained roads, but cars can drive slowly. My car is the lowest trim level of the 8th-generation Accord. The accommodations are decent, better than in Cuopugou, with food and lodging provided. The village has 100% electricity, mobile service, and sporadic 4G coverage.

By nancy |

The scenery is really beautiful. It is great to see colorful forests, enjoy the snow scenery, and soak in hot springs.

By Linzi |

The scenery is absolutely beautiful, especially the section to Huluhai. I have led a team there twice. Now is the most beautiful time. The leaves have turned yellow. The hike is a bit long, but it is definitely worth it. If you want to go, you can add my WeChat ylin_54 for consultation.

By No confusion |

It takes nearly an hour to drive to Dangling on a very bad road. It is better not to drive on this road.

The scenery is very beautiful, especially Huluhai, see the photos. Going to Huluhai is best done by horseback riding. The total cost of going up and down the mountain is 200 yuan. I think the riding time is more than two hours, which is quite cheap.

The accommodation is average. There is no electricity in the village, and all electricity is provided by diesel generators. I recommend the Five Talents' Home B&B. The owner is very honest, the room is very clean, and the five children are all doing well in their studies. The contact number is in the photo.

Only mobile phones have signals, provided it is a sunny day, and the base station should be solar-powered.

By vanlife caravan |

I like this place very much. I live in the village and drive to the mountains behind. I can go there often and camping and barbecue are also good.

By wish99 |

It is not fully developed and there are few people. The way up the mountain is very difficult. You can set up tents around Huluhai.

By Qinling 007 |

It's a very beautiful place, except for the locals, everything else is good.

By A cup of wine in the spring breeze |

The drive from Danba County to Dangling isn't far, but it takes about four hours. There's a section of road so bad it's difficult to pass, so SUVs have to drive slowly, and people have to get out and walk. One summer, during a rainy season, not only did we have to walk, but our cars got stuck in the mud and had to be pushed. It was such a chore. Dangling is the most captivating spot in the Hengduan Mountains; every photo is a masterpiece. Hike (or ride horseback) to the airfield, a vast grassland where herders have set up stalls offering milk tea and instant noodles. Then, head to Huluhai, a lake shaped like a gourd, which is home to many beautiful legends. Afterward, we returned to Dangling for our overnight stay. Dangling is an underdeveloped tourist destination, so accommodation and dining options don't compare to those in the city. We contacted the village secretary in advance, who arranged accommodation and horses for us.

By Who can help me come up with a nickname? |

Huluhai is so beautiful. The scenery of Dangling is really great. You can take a lot of pictures at random. There are large meadows on the way to the hot springs, and Huluhai. There are few people, beautiful scenery, and no tickets are required. While there are not many people now, if you have the conditions, go and have a look.

By Lao Wang |

The transportation is convenient, the internet is available, and the accommodation and food are mature and affordable. Huluhai is a must-see.

By The open space in the north |

It's pretty good, but there's a lot of garbage, it makes me sad to see it

By Fatty from the West |

The hiking trails near Danba are very scenic. In good weather, the scenery is even comparable to that of Aden. However, the mobile phone signal will be lost if you need to go up the mountain, which means you will lose the connection. There are places to stay in Dangling Village, but the accommodation conditions are average. There are relatively few cultural attractions.

By White bear |

The primeval forest has dense vegetation, hot springs, and lakes, making it a must-see for outdoor activities.

By Derek |

It's a scenic spot that has not been fully developed. Huluhai is very beautiful in early autumn and worth a visit. The accommodation is not very good, but it doesn't matter if you only stay for one night. After all, we go here to see the scenery, not to relax.

By Mickey Han |

During the National Day holiday, most of the houses were fully booked, especially the famous inn of the village chief and old secretary. Led by a child, we arrived at the Duoba Inn, which was on the second floor, in a room with four berths and no independent bathroom. The price was 100 yuan per berth.

Dangling Hot Springs consists of three locations. Hot Spring No. 1 is located approximately 4 kilometers south of Dangling Village, about an hour's walk from the old Party Secretary's home. Hot Spring No. 2 is 500 meters from Hot Spring No. 1, at the 3 o'clock position, near a stream, nestled in a forest and difficult to find. The walk from Hot Spring No. 1 to Hot Spring No. 3 takes about 30 minutes, also along a stone path. Hot Spring No. 1 has a clear water temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, while Hot Spring No. 2 has a temperature of 45 degrees Celsius. Due to the presence of sediment, the water may appear turbid, but it is not dirty and is suitable for bathing. Hot Spring No. 3 has the highest temperature and a strong sulfur smell, making it a comfortable foot bath.

The Dangling Scenic Area boasts over 30 shimmering alpine lakes, including Huluhai, Zhuoyongcuo, Macuo, Si'anie, and Ayumucuo. These lakes, known locally as "Haizi," are moraine-dammed lakes and cirques formed by the retreat of ancient glaciers during the Quaternary Period. Embedded in the valleys, they resemble multicolored mirrors. Huluhai, located 5 kilometers upstream from the Keluke River in the Dangling Scenic Area, is the most accessible and renowned lake in the area. However, Zhuoyongcuo, located at the foot of the snow-capped mountains upstream of Huluhai, is even more captivating and truly worthy of hikers. This sacred spot is not accessible to ordinary tourists.

By Heart flies with wings |

Dangling, another scenic area in Danba, is still underdeveloped and has poor road conditions. Access generally requires a local vehicle, so drivers unfamiliar with the route should be wary of the situation. Dangling's pristine scenery is untouched and untouched, lacking any trace of artificial refinement. In addition to forests, streams, mountains, and meadows, Dangling boasts three stunning lakes: Ganhaizi, Huluhai, and Dahaizi. Huluhai is the most accessible and scenic lake, while Ganhaizi is also beautiful, with rich vegetation surrounding it. Dahaizi's surroundings are desolate and difficult to reach due to poor road conditions. Dangling's peak beauty is in autumn, when the forests are ablaze with color (approximately mid-to-late October). The vibrant colors of the leaves against the backdrop of the mountains and lakes create a breathtaking scene. It's a must-see in Danba.

By footprint |

Many people don't know about Dangling, but I personally feel that Dangling is the most beautiful place in Danba, boasting a Tibetan village, hot springs, and most importantly, Hulu Lake. The Tibetan village in Dangling isn't as famous as Jiaju and Zhonglu, because the main attraction here isn't the village itself, but the hot springs and the hike up to Hulu Lake. Dangling has three hot springs. The closest to the village is Hot Spring No. 1, which draws water from Hot Springs No. 2 and 3, and requires a fee. Hot Springs No. 2 and 3 are further away, requiring nearly an hour's walk. The water in Hot Spring No. 2 is too hot to soak in, but the water in Hot Spring No. 3 is just the right temperature and incredibly comfortable. A group of us went to Hot Spring No. 3. Those with swimsuits changed into them and dipped in, while those without sat by the side and soaked their feet, instantly relieving the day's fatigue. Hulu Lake is also a must-see in Dangling, at an altitude of over 4,000 meters. The climb is a bit strenuous and the path can be difficult. Some people hike up on horseback, but that's a bit dangerous. We hiked on our own, experiencing alternating periods of scorching sun and snow. It was a truly unique experience.

Dangling, a scenic spot in Sichuan that's about to become a hot spot, is now under construction and open to the public. Its numerous scenic views are well worth a visit. However, the roads here have always been a problem in Chengdu, and for visitors from other provinces, the current reception capacity and level of hospitality still need to be improved.

By MeisterChow |

Dangling is where the Red Army passed by when climbing the snow-capped mountains. Deep in the mountains, the scenery is tranquil and far-reaching.

By star |

An undiscovered tourist destination, a place I'd watched colleagues' guides for almost a year but still hadn't dared to visit. A stay-at-home mom, clueless about travel guides and even unable to figure out directions on Baidu Maps, with a small bag and Nai Cha (our dog) by the hand, followed by my human GPS (my husband, Pete Su), leisurely set off on my four-wheel drive. Haha... you can imagine how difficult it was! The road conditions from Danba to Dangling Village were extremely poor for the 10-plus kilometers. The entire 68-kilometer journey took over four hours. Road construction in front of the village closed the area to vehicles. There was a parking lot, just a sloping lawn. It was deserted, with no electricity, no signal, and even the walkie-talkies didn't work. Some people slept in tents, so we spent the night stargazing from the car. Alternatively, you can take Danba - Dandong - Moska - Dangling, which offers slightly better road conditions but a 50-kilometer detour, allowing you to drive directly into the village. The road to the village is almost finished, and the traffic ban has been announced, with traffic opening on October 28th. The scenery along the way is beautiful beyond words, including dangerous roads, colorful forests, Tibetan villages, lakes, starry skies, grasslands, pastures, and spectacular winding mountain roads. In my travelogue, "A short self-driving tour of Danba Dangling on the cold line of western Sichuan, with photos taken along the way," I have recorded the itinerary and route in detail, as well as pictures of the scenery along the way.

By Snow without a trace |

The scenery is stunning, absolutely beautiful! It's like a fairyland. It's just a long way to go, and the road conditions aren't very good, so be prepared.

By Xiaoxiao |

Dangling was discovered relatively recently, and has only begun to gain public recognition in recent years. Due to limited capacity and road conditions, it's not overcrowded with tourists, and the natural environment has remained intact. It remains a pristine haven. We departed for Dangling around 10:30 AM, taking about three hours. In the afternoon, we visited Dangling Hot Springs, a scenic drive along the way.

The best viewing season is the end of October. The plateau scenery is pristine and charming. If you want to see the golden mountain in the sun, you have to stay a night in Huluhai.

By lisapupu |

Dangling is located in Bian'er Township, northwest of Danba County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, 68 kilometers from the county seat. Dangling boasts stunning scenery, with majestic snow-capped peaks, numerous alpine lakes, pristine open-air hot springs, lush primeval forests, gently flowing streams, carpets of green meadows, and rare and exotic flora and fauna. Together, these features create a comprehensive mountain scenic destination that combines sightseeing, scenic beauty, scientific research, and hiking adventures. However, it remains relatively unknown, with only a handful of hikers visiting. There are no hotels or other tourist facilities, as it remains largely undeveloped. This is the core destination of my trip, a sacred place I long to visit. In Dangling, you can only stay at the home of the village headman or Party secretary, for 80 yuan per person. Although the 68-kilometer journey from Danba to Dangling is dreadful, the road is paved with gravel, making the jolting, almost soul-destroying ride a full three hours. However, the scenery was breathtaking and the journey brought a sense of peace. Gradually, there were fewer and fewer villages on the road, and the scenery became more and more pristine. It really felt like walking through mountains, rivers and seas!

By hobe |

The scenery is beautiful, and you can hike up the mountain to Hulu Lake, which is truly beautiful. Most importantly, there's no GPRS or Wi-Fi in the entire Dangling area, and there's no cell phone signal. It's a bit awkward to post on social media without a connection.

By Travel Photography Awen |

Transportation was quite difficult, taking over four hours to get to Dangling. The worst part was that carpooling wasn't easy, and I wondered how many days it would take to find a group of four. The road to Dangling was truly terrible, but the scenery was so beautiful I had no complaints.

By Time Walk |

Dangling Village was very different from what I had imagined. It was a very small village with only a few households in total.

Dangling has beautiful scenery. Its majestic snow-capped peaks, numerous alpine lakes, pristine natural open-air hot springs, lush primeval forests, slowly flowing streams, carpet-like green meadows, and rare and exotic plants and animals together form a comprehensive mountain scenic tourist destination that integrates sightseeing, mountaineering, scientific research, and hiking adventures.

Dangling is located in Bian'er Township, Danba County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It's a Tibetan village that hasn't been overdeveloped. We chartered a car from Danba County, but the road is quite difficult. Accommodation is available in the village. We also rented horses and journeyed through the primeval forest to Hulu Lake, a beautiful sight.

By Dawa Gaga |

I hiked 23 kilometers with a leisurely pace, passing by various unknown flowers and plants in full bloom. When I reached Dangling Pass, I was inexplicably stopped by Tibetans and asked to pay a 20 yuan per person "environmental protection fee." Although I saw all kinds of litter along the way, I couldn't help but lament that this pure land has been destroyed and trampled upon.

Hike or ride a horse into Dangling, the most charming scenic spot in the Hengduan Mountains. Enjoy the captivating natural scenery along the way.

The mountains, water, clouds, sky and trees are all beautiful

Huluhai offers a picturesque view. I haven't been to the latter part yet, so I'll have to visit it next time.

It's worth a visit, Danba to Dangling. The scenery is beautiful along the way, and the water is very clear. . . . I recommend everyone to go

Dangling is an undeveloped area, preserving its simple folk customs and natural scenery. Huluhai is accessible only by hiking or horseback riding, and I opted for hiking. Departing at 8 a.m. and arriving at the village by 4 p.m., it was a truly challenging day, climbing snow-capped mountains, crossing meadows and creeks, and experiencing the Red Army's path. However, the rewards were immense: friendships, beautiful scenery, and once again pushing my limits.

Dangling Village is quiet and beautiful, like a paradise, and the people are also very warm and friendly.

The altitude of Dangling is about 3,300 meters, and the scenery is still in a relatively primitive state, with towering mountains, flowing water, flowers and dense forests. Horses are leisurely eating grass in the grasslands and valleys, basking in the sun. It is very harmonious.

Due to Dangling's unique geographical location and poor transportation and communication conditions, it is almost isolated from the outside world. We were only able to be a passing visitor to Dangling, but in those 24 hours, we were deeply impressed by the local Tibetans' hardship, their relaxed and contented attitude towards life, their mutual support, and their positive attitude towards life.

This pristine paradise offers a chance to experience natural hot springs, hike and ride horses to view Hulu Lake. While it's still relatively undeveloped, it's definitely worth a visit.

It's an undeveloped natural attraction, yet it's incredibly famous among hikers. There's no commercial atmosphere in the mountains: no tour buses, no tickets, no guides, no queues, no "someone's only just got a chance to visit," no scrambling for space, no siege at the ticket office... All you see is a breathtakingly beautiful scene: snow-capped mountains, lakes, rubble, and colorful quilts—a beauty beyond human expression. You completely forget the arduous journey, feeling like you've been transported to another world, a journey through a painting.

The autumn in Dangling is a gorgeous one! The autumn scenery here is colorful and worth a walk, especially hiking, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. There was no charge when we went there, but we had to pay a 10 yuan environmental protection fee per person. I guess there will be a fee now.

On March 13th, we rented a car and drove through bumpy mountain roads to Dangling Village. After dropping off our luggage and taking a short rest, we hiked for two hours to soak in the natural hot springs. Soaking in the 40-degree water was truly relaxing. It was said that this was Hot Spring No. 1, and there were two and three more. Hot Spring No. 2 was perfect for boiling eggs, while Hot Spring No. 3, a few degrees warmer than Hot Spring No. 1, was even better for relieving fatigue. Unfortunately, after the long, bumpy ride, I didn't have the energy to continue to Hot Spring No. 3.

That night, we stayed at a Tibetan family's home. Snow began to fall outside, and the next morning, the ground was covered with nearly 10 centimeters of snow, a blanket of white. After a simple breakfast, we began our snowshoe hike, aiming for Hulu Lake, over 4,000 meters above sea level. After nearly five hours of snowy trekking, our group of 12 split into three stages. On the first stage, three people reached Hulu Lake, on the second, five reached Gan Haizi, and on the third, four people approached Gan Haizi. The journey was challenging, yet the scenery was breathtaking, and we were thrilled the entire time. Conclusion: The trip was well worth it!

There are many people living there, and there are big tents on the top of the mountain! The road to get in is too difficult and narrow, but the scenery is very good.

After I went there, I posted a Weibo post: The most beautiful place I have seen in my 20 years of life. It turns out there really is a paradise on earth.
