Jiezi Ancient Town is located at the foot of Fengqi Mountain in Chongzhou City. It has a history of thousands of years and retains the rich charm of a southwestern town in the Qing Dynasty.
It is mainly composed of three parts, namely Jiezi Ancient Town, Guangyan Zen Temple and Fengqishan Forest Park, which are both picturesque and ancient.
It is worth mentioning that the Shuanghe site in Jiezi Ancient Town is more than 4,300 years old and is an important part of the prehistoric city site group in the Chengdu Plain.
In addition, there are more than 20 cultural relics and historical sites, including the thousand-year-old ginkgo, the thousand-year-old ancient nanmu, the ancient temple, the ancient tower from the Qing Dynasty, and a street of ancient buildings from the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.
There are various shops on both sides of the street, selling the ancient town’s special delicacies such as soup sesame cakes, etc. You may want to buy one and eat it while walking.

Jiezi Town in Chongzhou, Chengdu, is located at the foot of Fengqi Mountain, 25 kilometers northwest of Chongzhou City, and is connected to the back mountain of Qingcheng. It has the benefits of beautiful mountains and rivers, as well as 32 temples and other historical sites centered on the ancient Jin Dynasty temple Guangyan Zen Temple. Jiezi is an ancient town with a long history. It was called "Hengqu Town" during the Five Dynasties, and was named because it was across the Weijiang River.
Jiezi Ancient Town is located in Chongzhou, 90 kilometers away from Chengdu. It is an ancient town at the foot of Qingcheng Mountain. It is clean and tidy, with mountains and water, as well as Qing Dynasty houses and ancient temples.
Located at the junction of Chongzhou and Dujiangyan, not far from Mount Qingcheng, the Ziku Tower is its symbol.
The ancient towns nowadays are actually all similar. The things they sell and the styles are actually pretty much the same. They are still good places to relax!
The transportation is convenient. You can drive or take public transportation. Chengdu Chaidianzi Bus Station has buses running every day to Jie Zi Ancient Town. Accommodation and meals in farmhouses are very convenient and inexpensive. The air and water quality are much better than Chengdu.
I went there at night, it was lively! All ancient towns are like that.
Jie Zi Ancient Town was the first place I visited using a shared car. The ancient town was similar to other ancient towns, with snacks for sale, but one difference from other ancient towns was that there was a river where people could play in the water. It didn’t matter if you didn’t bring slippers, you could just leave your shoes on the shore and go out to play. Last time I was in a hurry and left without finishing my visit.
Jiezi Ancient Town is not as famous as other ancient towns around Chengdu. Maybe it is because it is located near Qingcheng Mountain and Dujiangyan and has been overshadowed by 5A scenic spots. But in fact, Jiezi Ancient Town is still very good. It not only retains the original street market and river bridge, but also has new buildings that complement the old ones. The market located at one end of the ancient town should not be set up for tourists. There are all kinds of fruits, vegetables, dried fruits, cured meats, plants, flowers, potted plants, and daily necessities, all at very cheap prices. I bought a small basket of very fresh strawberries for only 20 yuan.
There is a stage in the ancient town. When we went there, there was a folk art performance, which attracted many residents and tourists. Everyone watched with relish. There is also a river next to the ancient town where you can go boating, but I didn't try it because of limited time.
It is a nice place and many locals drive there to have fun on weekends.
Because it is a weekday, there are relatively few people. It feels that there are not many people in the ancient town. But this is also good. Walk slowly, look slowly, and feel the long history of the ancient town.
It's too big, and I can't find many places. I'll walk slowly.
Jie Zi Ancient Town, located in Chongzhou, is generally no different from other ancient towns in Sichuan, but because there is a water source passing through it, it has a Jiangnan feel.
There are cruise ships on the river beach, where you can play in the water. It is a good place to cool off in the summer.
The number of tourists in Jie Zi Ancient Town is much less than expected, less than half of that in Luodai.
Turning into an alley, it feels like traveling through time and space, filtering out all the hustle and bustle and enjoying the tranquility alone.
Standing on the bridge and looking out, the scenery is very similar to the Yujiang River in my hometown.
It was raining when we went there, and there were hardly any people there. I thought I had come to a fake ancient town.
Free tickets, tourist items inside are very cheap, farmhouses are also very comfortable, and there are many places to play. If you need consultation, you can add QQ 1939004203
It's still worth seeing, but the station signs around it are hard to find
It is still a big ancient town. When I went there, there were opera performances on the stage. The main street is still very lively, but there is nothing special to sell. It feels like the things sold in the ancient town are almost the same. You can go boating. The small street at the back is nice and quiet.
It takes about 40 minutes to get to Jiezi Ancient Town by bus No. 102 from Wanda. The food in the ancient town is very cheap, so you can eat whatever you want! Many people here like to eat tofu with sauces, and there are many on the street, you can try it.
Enjoy flowers in spring, escape the heat in summer, admire leaves in autumn, and avoid smog in winter - Jie Zi Ancient Town is a great place for this!
Jie Zi Ancient Town is not very big, with a few old streets and some old buildings. Some of the old streets are prosperous, some are quiet, and some are literary. . . .
It is a good place that is relatively remote, with fewer tourists and the local food and accommodation are relatively cheap.
Jie Zi Ancient Town is located in Chongzhou City, Sichuan Province, adjacent to Qingcheng Back Mountain and Jiulong Mountain. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with endless green mountains and peaks, and clear water all year round, so it is known as the "Water Town of Western Sichuan".
Next to the back mountain of Qingcheng, there is a small river flowing next to the ancient town, a covered bridge for pedestrians, a covered bridge for drinking water, and a Ziku Tower in the town. There are mountains, water, towns, bridges, and towers, a rich combination of elements.
It's a fun place to relax on weekends.
Went there on a rainy day, quiet and elegant!
You can go and have a look when you have free time. It’s very convenient to get there from Chengdu!
I will leave Chengdu at 13:52 and can return to Chengdu at 19:00!

Jiezi Town, Chongzhou, is 50 kilometers west of Chengdu and is located in the Qionglai Mountains. It is located at the foot of Fengqi Mountain, 25 kilometers northwest of Chongzhou City, adjacent to the Back Mountain of Qingcheng and Jiulong Mountain. Jiezi Town borders Dujiangyan in the northeast. Weijiang River, a tributary of Minjiang River, flows through the flat entrance of Jiezi Town, forming a clear pool - Longtan. The ancient town has a well-developed water system and abundant groundwater. There is clear water all year round on both sides of the stone road and in front of and behind the houses, so it is known as the "Water Town in Western Sichuan". It is also known as the "Back Garden of Qingcheng".
Jiezi Ancient Town
Located in Fengqishan Scenic Area, Jiezi Ancient Town, Chongzhou City, Chengdu, the main attractions include: Ziku Tower, Guangyan Zen Temple, Weijiang Scenic Area, Jiezi Ancient Town Pastoral Tea House, etc. In fact, the ancient towns in Sichuan are similar and cannot be compared with the ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River. The main difference is that there is not enough water source, so the travel experience will be slightly monotonous.
An ordinary ancient town, no tickets are required, with the back mountain of Qingcheng Mountain behind it. It is suitable for local people. It is a little unpopular and the road is remote, so you need to drive yourself.

Not bad, I went there during the Lantern Festival in 2017. There were many people and it was crowded. Some toilets charged one yuan, and snacks were quite expensive. The food in that people's commune was unpalatable and expensive. There was a Sichuan opera performance on the ancient stage, and the teahouse below was ten yuan per person, which was quite reasonable.
The Wenchuan earthquake hit Jiezi Ancient Town hard. After more than two years of concentrated reconstruction, Jiezi Ancient Town welcomes the world with a different look. I spent an afternoon in Jiezi Ancient Town. In addition to constantly tasting special snacks such as sesame cakes and yerba, I walked more in the painting, always encountering new scenery, new surprises, and new touches inadvertently. Don't stop, the beautiful scenery will always meet you unexpectedly. When I walked to the door of this "Yunzuo" cheongsam shop, the song "Chengdu" suddenly sounded. The speaker effect was particularly good. I stayed at the door and listened to the song quietly. It was a beautiful moment and a perfect encounter. Grilled sausages, eat it. Husband and wife lung slices. The day we were in Jiezi Ancient Town happened to be the winter solstice. Let's have a plate of local dumplings dipped in spicy sesame oil. Observe carefully, the dumplings in the south are very different from those in the north! Take a walk around the backyard of the owner's house, this cute pet stared at me and welcomed my arrival. Yeerba, with glutinous rice on the outside and various meats inside, each wrapped in leaves, delicious. After tasting the whole Jiezi Ancient Town, the best sesame cake is Xu's local sesame cake, rose, pepper salt, brown sugar, each has a different taste, I bought a lot of it back for my friends to taste. There is a small sculpture reflecting the life of the market every two or three steps in Jiezi Ancient Town, which I like very much. It is conceivable that if every sculpture becomes alive, how wonderful that life will be, men driving carriages to make a living; women washing clothes and dressing up together; children running and playing wantonly... There is not so much pressure and troubles, only full of happiness. Watch the sugar blowing in person. The machine for cutting cloud cakes, one up and one down, automatically completes it. Life in the ancient town is inseparable from the mahjong players who have a lot of time. The character library is a special facility for collecting and burning paper, which follows the ancient people's style of "respecting and cherishing paper" and the saying of "cherishing words and getting blessings". The Jie Zi Library was built during the Xianfeng period. It is a hexagonal five-story loft with a hollow brick and stone structure. The outer walls are carved with "The Legend of the White Snake" and landscapes and flowers. It is one of the important symbols of Jie Zi Ancient Town.
It was past noon when we arrived at Qingcheng Mountain, so we didn't have time to see the ancient ginkgo trees in Jiezi Ancient Town. Jiezi Ancient Town Snack Street: Free Tickets Tourist Sightseeing Bus: 10 yuan/person Jiezi Ancient Town is located in Chongzhou District and was once rated as the most beautiful ancient town in Sichuan. I don't know if it's because of the Lunar New Year, but there are so many people in Jiezi Ancient Town, and it's very lively. We took a sightseeing bus to the center of the ancient town, and walked back to the parking lot after the tour. This is a magical street, with snacks, restaurants, teahouses, handicrafts, antique streets, 4D movies, shooting competitions, and even an aquarium! We also saw two big turtles in the window! ! The ticket for the aquarium is 10/person. There is a Ziku Tower in the square of Jiezi Ancient Town, with the Legend of the White Snake painted on it. But we didn't have much enthusiasm to watch. Because what made us even more excited was that almost the entire street in the ancient town was food, food, and food! And they were all delicious, delicious, and delicious! There is a fresh lamb kebab shop, which picks lamb at the door. It looks a bit scary, but the taste is really delicious! 2.5 a bunch, the taste is definitely worth the price!! After the lights went on, we started walking towards the parking lot. The streets outside the main street were much quieter, and we also watched the hand-woven cloth
Jiezi Ancient Town is named after the fact that it lies along the Weijiang River. There are the ancient temple of the Jin Dynasty - Guangyan Temple, Fengqi Mountain Scenic Spot, thousands of acres of primeval forest, thousand-year-old ginkgo trees, thousand-year-old ancient nanmu trees, ancient towers from the Qing Dynasty, a street of ancient buildings from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China, the site of the uprising of Wang Xiaobo, a national hero of the Song Dynasty, the former residence of Tang Qiu, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, Gulongtan, Wuguituo, Yunwudong, etc. There are more than 20 cultural relics and historical sites in the town.

When I went to Daguan Town to visit a friend, I took bus 102 and missed the stop, and went directly to the terminal station, Jie Zi Ancient Town. My friend simply came over to meet me and accompanied me for a walk. There were not many people on weekends, but the ancient town generally has that atmosphere. The bridge and the bluestone slabs on the opposite bank felt nice, and the two kinds of handmade cakes I bought there after tasting were also good.
If you go to Jie Zi Ancient Town, don't miss the welcome snacks
In an ancient town on the outskirts of Chengdu, there are not many pedestrians and it is a bit deserted.
I went to Jiezi Ancient Town today. I left Chongzhou Bus Station at 8:55, 6.5 yuan per person. I arrived at Jiezi Ancient Town at 9:35. It took 40 minutes in total. It was very quiet all the way from the bus station to the core scenic area of Jiezi Ancient Town. After entering the core scenic area, there were more and more tourists. It was difficult to take pictures. The wax figures in the Tea and Horse Department were so realistic that they were a bit scary. The small shops along the street were quite interesting, and the scenery on the street corners was also very good. The prices of things in Jiezi Ancient Town are relatively normal. Compared with other scenic spots, it is quite cheap. After three hours, I was almost done.
The Jie Zi ancient town is bustling during the day. I once thought that the new buildings on the periphery were the main streets of the ancient town. It was not until I reached the end and suddenly heard a lot of noise that I realized the entrance to the ancient town had just appeared. I couldn't help but laugh at my own stupidity. When I was tired of shopping, I looked for a quiet teahouse. The emerald green of the bamboo leaf green made my heart clear.
There are many snacks in Jiezi Ancient Town: grilled squid, egg cake, potato flower are all delicious, and there are many inns. The beautiful teacher who created "The world is so big, I want to see it the most" opened an inn there, and I was lucky enough to stay there when I went there.
If you go to Jie Zi Ancient Town, don't miss the welcome snacks at this snack bar. Watch the TV interview and try the frozen cake Ye Er Ba, and you will know why.
Jiezi Ancient Town is only one and a half hours away from Chengdu. You can take a bus from Chadianzi and the ticket price is about 18 yuan. The ancient town is quite nostalgic. If you have time on weekends, you can go there for a walk.
I suggest that friends who go to Kuanzhai Alley and Jinli must go to Jie Zi Ancient Town!
Many people like to visit Kuanzhai Alley and Jinli when they go to Chengdu, and think that Kuanzhai Alley and Jinli represent the old Chengdu. In fact, there are not many places that can truly represent Chengdu or have the most Chengdu flavor. Jiezi Ancient Town has a simple and ancient style, which is somewhat similar to Chengdu.
Jiezi Ancient Town is a national AAAAA-level scenic spot. Although it is heavily commercialized, it still retains its simplicity and elegance. Although the outside world is wonderful, the people in the town still stick to the ancient way of life and live their own lives. Purely handmade snacks and famous foods can be found in this ancient town, and the price is not expensive. As long as you have a good appetite, enjoy it!
The authentic spicy sauce can be brought back for family sharing. I neglected the spicy sauce in the ancient town and bought it elsewhere. I always felt that it was not as authentic as the one in the ancient town, which was a little regretful for me.
Personally, I think Jie Zi Ancient Town is the most interesting ancient town around Chengdu. It has mountains, water and buildings, especially Kangdao. It feels so good to walk on it. I suggest that everyone must take Kangdao when going to Jie Zi. It is about a two-hour journey and the end point is Guangyan Zen Temple. Arriving at the Zen temple, the trip is complete.
Before 2008, Jiezi Ancient Town looked a bit more shabby, but of course it looked more original. In the 2008 "5.12" earthquake, Jiezi Ancient Town was severely damaged. During the post-earthquake reconstruction, Jiezi Ancient Town was reborn and became more neat and beautiful. The area of the ancient town was also expanded a lot, but inevitably some modern factors were mixed in. Although it is more convenient than before, the ancient charm of the ancient town has faded. It seems that it is always difficult to maintain and develop the ancient town.
It is divided into the Old Street and the New Street. The characteristics are not very obvious and the ancient town is not very big, but the brown sugar steamed buns in the ancient town are delicious. Tourists from other places can also taste bacon and sausages.
We went there late so many shops were not open, but as this is an ancient town it is still worth a visit and there are lots of food to eat.
There are many snacks in the ancient town, and it takes only a short while to visit.
I originally thought it was under the jurisdiction of Dujiangyan, but it turned out to be under Chongzhou. It is not much different from other ancient towns, but the snacks have some characteristics.
The town is simple yet modern and commercial, and it is quite pleasant to take a walk around.
There are snacks and streets, and the food is delicious. You can go there to experience the local customs and characteristics during the Chinese New Year.
I think it is a little more comfortable than Huanglongxi Ancient Town.
Located in Jiezi Town, Chongzhou City, under the jurisdiction of Chengdu City, the ancient town is large, well-equipped, with antique buildings and many snacks. You can also go to Meihuazhai to appreciate plum blossoms and burn incense at Guangyan Zen Temple. It is the best place to escape the heat in summer.
We reluctantly left Qingcheng Mountain and came to Jiezi Town in Chongzhou, Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is located at the foot of Fengqi Mountain, 25 kilometers northwest of Chongzhou City, and is connected to the back mountain of Qingcheng. There are 32 temples and other historical sites centered on the ancient temple Guangyan Zen Temple of the Jin Dynasty. Jiezi Ancient Town was named "Hengqu Town" during the Five Dynasties because it was located across the Weijiang River. The ancient town has a well-developed water system and abundant groundwater. There is clear water all year round on both sides of the stone road and in front of and behind the houses, so it is known as the "Water Town in Western Sichuan". It is also known as the "Back Garden of Qingcheng".
I don't want to say much here. It's just one of the self-funded projects. Since you are here, you might as well experience the many sports in ancient China, such as bowling, Cuju, basketball, archery, and entertain yourself. However, there is an ancient street at the exit of the ancient town, with snacks everywhere. After a day of strolling around and not having enough at noon, I was drooling. The most famous thing in Jie Zi Ancient Town is Jie Zi Soup Sesame Cake, which tastes really good. I bought some to eat on the way. Friends who have eaten it said it was good. Because I missed the taste, I bought some from Jack Ma when I got home and had them delivered.
It's a very quaint town, quieter and more down-to-earth than other tourist attractions. The things in the town are also very reasonably priced. There are many shops that make ox horn combs on site. I happened to find a style I liked, so I bought one right away. Haha, I love it so much!
Not far from Chengdu! More than an hour's drive! An ancient town developed in recent years! Parking is not very convenient in the peak season! The ancient town is not big, playing in the water and drinking tea by the river is very leisurely! The scenery of the ancient town is nice!
Jiezi Ancient Town is an antique commercial street and a gathering place for residents. There are some local specialty snacks and herbal medicine shops. The food is good and it is worth a visit.
Jiezi Ancient Town is located in Jiezi Town, Chongzhou, Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The must-eats in Jiezi are the Yeerba, frozen cake and Catholic chicken slices.
Jie Zi Ancient Town is very close to Chengdu, about an hour and a half away. Chengdu's Chadianzi Bus Station starts taking turns to leave from 8:30, which is fast and convenient. The ticket price is 18 yuan. The last return bus is at 5 pm. You can also drive there by yourself, the road is smooth and parking is convenient. You can play in the water in summer, bring slippers, and bring a swimsuit and a swimming ring if you want to swim. If you don't want to play in the water, you can play water mahjong and drink tea. It's cool and comfortable. At noon, stroll around the ancient town and eat Chengdu's famous snacks, jelly and cold cakes. It is a one-day trip for Chengdu locals. It is also a place for some foreign tourists to rest on their way to Qingcheng Mountain. (Jie Zi Ancient Town is behind Qingcheng Mountain)
A small river runs through the town, and there is still a commercialized street. Generally speaking, this kind of town has no characteristics. The towns in Sichuan and Chongqing are all like this. In comparison, Huanglongxi may be better.
In addition to simple entertainment, such as Cuju and archery, the most attractive thing here is food. The local snacks here are not only authentic in taste, but also much cheaper than those in Chengdu, and there are many varieties. The most distinctive one is the handmade crispy cakes, which is the best choice for family and friends. At the same time, the "crispy tofu pudding" is highly recommended. You will definitely want to eat two bowls after eating one bowl. The noodles you see are made like this, and they become noodles after pouring them into the pot.
Jiezi Ancient Town is located in Jiezi Town, Chongzhou, Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is at the foot of Fengqi Mountain, 25 kilometers northwest of Chongzhou City, and is connected to the back mountain of Qingcheng. Although it is called an ancient town, there is not much trace of the ancient town. The earthquake in 2008 should have had a great impact on the local area. Many houses near the ancient town are newly built. There are also shops on both sides, and places for leisure and tea.
A bus from Dujiangyan Passenger Transport Center goes directly to Jiezi Ancient Town. After getting off the bus, you have to walk along the archway for about 10 minutes to reach the main scenic area. The ancient towns are all similar. There are several towering trees with a long age at Ziku Tower. The second time I went there, I could go hiking along the edge of the ancient town. The scenery along the way was quite beautiful. You can exercise during your rest time👏
A place for Chengdu locals to relax. Not far from Mount Qingcheng, it is very lively on weekends. Outsiders generally don't come here unless they are led by someone, after all, it is a bit far from Chengdu, and because of this, there are not many people. It is said that it was rebuilt on the original site. In fact, the ancient towns across the country are similar, and the business atmosphere in the ancient town is still relatively strong. There are basically all kinds of food, drink and entertainment. It is estimated that it will take an hour to walk around the ancient town. You can see undeveloped local residents' houses everywhere. The farmhouse brought by my relatives tastes good. As for the snacks in the ancient town, haha, taking advantage of the distant mountains and nearby waters, playing mahjong and drinking tea, this is the life of Chengdu people!
It was quite late when we arrived at Jiezi Ancient Town, and we only had about an hour to see it. In fact, it is more fun here than Qingcheng Mountain, with food and entertainment. There is a food street for food, which tastes better than the food in Jinli; there is a place for children to play, where you can shoot arrows, climb rope ladders, etc. I was not interested so I didn't take any photos.
The boat was drifting on the river, and the scorching sun seemed to want to roast me into a suckling pig. Oh no, it was Hong Qigong's beggar's chicken, the fat one.
The teahouse by the river has a special charm, not because of the beautiful scenery, not because of the tall buildings, not because of the refreshing tea, but because it is just such a summer day, just such a leisurely time, with a pot of good tea and a table of mahjong.
Chongzhou Jiezi Ancient Town is a very beautiful place and it is also my hometown.
A southwestern town in the Qing Dynasty, a 4A-level scenic spot with beautiful and pleasant scenery.
Jiezi Ancient Town is at the foot of Qingcheng Mountain. It is easy to find. It is a very charming ancient town with not many modern buildings. Some ancient buildings are well preserved. It is especially pleasant to walk here on rainy days. The air quality here is very good, and it is a natural oxygen bar.
This is my second time in Jie Zi Ancient Town, the scenery is still as beautiful as before. It has an antique feel.
There are many souvenir shops there and the prices are cheaper than in downtown Chengdu.
There are some crude man-made attractions here, which are not interesting at all. The most attractive thing here is the snacks.
There were so many snacks that I couldn't eat them all. Since I had eaten less for the diet meal at noon, and I was thirsty and hungry after climbing Mount Qingcheng, I just ate randomly. I ate 5 bowls of happy jelly in one go before I felt less hot. Then I had another bowl of sad jelly. Although it was very spicy, the spiciness in Sichuan is not that strong. It is relatively mild and did not make me cry. I had another bowl of tofu pudding, a piece of bacon, a small piece of pineapple rice, and finally, a "Bingshan Yijue Spring Roll" made by the mother and daughter.
Well worth a visit!
I would like to point out that these ancient towns in Sichuan (Huanglongxi, Luodai, Shuimo, Tai'an, etc.) are not really "ancient towns". In fact, they are all tourist spots built by the local government in the later period. There are some old buildings (such as stone bridges, memorial archways, etc.), but most of them are later and not very large in scale. They cannot be compared with Lijiang, Zhouzhuang, and Wuzhen. If you have such an imagination, you will definitely be disappointed when you come here.
How to have fun in these ancient towns? Here’s how:
In fact, these ancient towns are not visited by the most tourists. The most people who go there are local citizens... Especially the aunts and uncles, who like to form a group to stay there for ten days or half a month, for the purpose of cooling off, especially in the ancient towns with convenient transportation and fresh air such as Jie Zi and Tai'an, so the most common things you see there are farmhouses. My family likes to go to Jie Zi the most. Even the place to stay is fixed (they are familiar with the store owners), 80 yuan/person for a day, including accommodation, three meals, and mahjong machines. The standards are similar to this. The standard of the room is actually similar to that of a guesthouse. Don't think too well. I went there twice and I don't want to go anymore for the following reasons: 1. Too little entertainment (except mahjong machines), 2. Too noisy in the morning (someone is hawking downstairs from the window early in the morning... The deep house can't afford it...)
However! Overall, it is still worth going with three or four friends:
1. Convenient transportation. There are many buses from Chengdu Chadianzi Bus Station to Jiezi Ancient Town every day. It costs 20 yuan and takes about 1-1.5 hours. If you go from Dujiangyan, it is closer and there are more buses. If you drive by yourself, we like to take Chengwenqiong Expressway to Wenjiang, and then go through Wenjiang City to Chengqing Expressway. The signs are clear, the road is good and there are few people! Or you can take Chengguan Expressway and then turn to Pengqing Road, which is also good! (I didn’t go last time they took this road.. But they came back and told me that it is quite easy to go, because the highway is relatively long, and the Wenjiang exit on the Chengwenqiong side is a perennial black hole.. There are traffic jams all year round)
2. You can stroll around the ancient town of Jiezi (there are many people...), I can only go there to find food when there are few people in the middle of the night (the barbecue is good! The charcoal grill is very enjoyable!), there is a stone bridge similar to the South Bridge, and there seems to be a memorial archway... ? There is a stage (there are really operas), you can watch, and you have to buy a cup of tea to see the seats (one seat, one tea)
3. There is a mountain in the back of the mountain, and there is a temple on the mountain. You can drive up or take a bus (5 yuan seems to be a minibus that is full and leaves), or learn from me... Climb the mountain... nozuonodie... The place we often go to is relatively close to the mountain. That day, I made up my mind to climb the mountain! Then the more I walked, the less I wanted to walk, and the harder it was to get down the mountain... It took about 1.5 hours to reach the top of the ancient temple (this temple is named... How willful, isn't it). People like me who are not physically fit, please do what you can... If you are physically fit, please do as you can. If you don't return halfway, you can return on Qingyuan Road. I heard that you can take a bus halfway... My fellow villagers said... During the National Day, the buses going down from the ancient temple are all full, so just accept your fate and walk up... Embarrassing
There is a delicious braised duck in town!
An ancient town at the foot of Mount Qingcheng. The entrance is a newly built area, so we had to take an eco-friendly car to enter. Although the ancient town has been commercialized, it still retains a lot of the style of the old streets, which is quite interesting. The tour guide introduced a famous soup sesame cake in the town. The recipe is passed down to the daughter-in-law but not to the son, because they are afraid that the son will leak the recipe when drunk. They also have a secret recipe for making sesame cakes, which is an ancient well in the local area. Only the water from this well is used, and this water is not used for other purposes. After listening for a long time, I went to the store and saw that there were freshly baked sesame cakes on sale on the spot. I bought a box to try, and it tasted pretty good. There are also some local Sichuan snacks on the old street, such as glutinous rice cakes, jelly, etc. I tried some of them, and they were all delicious. It's a pity that the time is relatively short, and some ancient buildings in the town were not visited.
It is an ancient town that has not yet been fully commercialized. It feels a bit like Lijiang but not as crowded as Lijiang. It is an ancient town worth visiting.
It is quite leisurely to stroll in Jiezi Ancient Town. The ancient buildings on both sides of the road have a sense of vicissitudes. There are many shops inside, which are relatively commercial. In addition to general eating and drinking, playing in the water in Jiezi Ancient Town in summer is also great. There is a big river on the left side of the entrance of the ancient town, but the river is not deep. You can choose to take a bamboo raft and drift on the river. You can also roll up your trouser legs and step on the water by the river. Children can also have a water fight with a water gun. There is a small reservoir-like place behind the ancient town, like a small lake. The lake is quite deep. We jumped directly into the lake in shorts to swim (it seems that swimming here is not allowed). Anyway, no one cares. The lake water is cool. It is really cool to swim here in the hot summer. The authentic snack in the ancient town is tofu pudding. Every family's tofu pudding is freshly ground, and there is also fried old bacon. It is very close to Qingcheng Mountain, and the old bacon is also very famous. Starting from Chengdu, take the Chengwenqiong Expressway and get off at Chongzhou Station, then turn onto the Chengqing Tourism Express Line and you will arrive here in no more than two hours.
A commercial street, not much special features, but there are many snacks, you can also buy local specialties
Because this is my second time here, probably due to the epidemic, the ancient town is not as lively as before, and many shops along the river (especially bars) are closed, but the natural scenery is still beautiful, with the Qingcheng Mountain standing in front and the Weijiang River nestling beside it, giving it a lively feeling and suitable for playing in the water to cool off in the summer.
