Compared to the Jiuyan Bridge in Chengdu that I visited some time ago, this place is more friendly! When you get to Jiuyan Bridge, there are bars all around, just like the atmosphere of Guijie and Sanlitun in Beijing. Of course, the protagonist is the Corridor Bridge across the river from Jiuyan Bridge. It is a high-end Chinese restaurant with an ancient architectural style! The Corridor Bridge was formerly a traditional high-end Sichuan restaurant suitable for banquets. Now it has transformed into The Bridge. The hot topics in the food world are: 1. I passed by many bars along the way, but since most of them were noisy, I never went in. Until I found a bar on the second floor with few people, I could enjoy the summer night breeze with a few friends and spend a good time without the pressure of the college entrance examination. It was really the happiest thing.

Opposite the covered bridge is the famous Jiuyan Bridge, the most famous bridge on Funan River. The original old bridge was demolished in 1992, and this concrete bridge was built near the old bridge. Although it is still called Jiuyan Bridge, it is no longer the same as before. It is lit with blue lights at night and looks very stylish. Later, a new bridge was built near Wangjiang Tower in the same style as Jiuyan Bridge, called "New Jiuyan Bridge".

I originally wanted to come here to take pictures of the night view. I went there around 7 o'clock after dinner, and it was still bright. But it was almost sunset, so I thought it was pretty beautiful. There were also some locals who came here to take a walk, walk their dogs, fish, etc. The environment was pretty good.



When it was getting dark, I went back to the bridge I had taken photos of before and found that the lights under the bridge were still on, but the street lights were clearly on.

I thought I would just go a little further and take photos from the other side. But the road was closed not long after I rode. The traffic police (?) at the gate told me that there was a bar and a gei (he really pronounced it like that) and a famous antique bridge ahead, so I couldn't ride in. The one I took photos of before was the new Jiuyan Bridge, which only has lights on on weekends. The fence here is to prepare for the renovation of the scenic spot.

I had no intention of going to the bar, I just wanted to take some photos of the night view, so I didn't go in. Later on the way back I decided to go in again, so I went in from a door on Zhimin East Road.



It turned out that there was really no need to go in. . . There were construction sites along the river, all kinds of small stones, and they were fenced off. Only the area in front of the bar, about two people wide, was flat. I couldn't even walk to the river, so I just took two photos and left in about 5 minutes. It didn't seem like there were many people in the bar.



This bridge is just like that... I've said it's an imitation of an ancient bridge. Actually, the ones in Jinli, Kuanzhai, and the one near Wenshu Temple are all imitations of ancient bridges. After seeing so many of them, I really think they're just average.

Go east along the road of Sichuan University and you will reach Jiuyan Bridge. There are some food on this road, but not many. I don't think there is much to visit. It's not too far, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk there.

It turns out that Jiuyan Bridge was originally called Hongji Bridge and was first built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1593). However, due to many factors such as flood control and flood discharge, it had to be demolished in 1992. The current Jiuyan Bridge is a steel-framed concrete bridge newly built in 1988. Anshun Corridor Bridge is also located near Jiuyan Bridge. Its construction history can be traced back to the Yuan Dynasty, but the corridor bridge we see now was only designed and built in 2003. In the eyes of Chengdu people, Jiuyan Bridge is no longer just a name for a bridge, but a general name for the Jiuyan Bridge area. Anshun Corridor Bridge happens to be in the Jiuyan Bridge area, so many people later referred to Anshun Corridor Bridge as Jiuyan Bridge.
