I went up there on May Day. The weather was bad, foggy and there were many potholes on the road, so I had to be careful while driving. It was foggy halfway up the mountain. When it split into the tunnel, I was hesitant about whether it would be dangerous to take the old road. In the end, I mustered up the courage to take the old road. The visibility was too low, so I turned on the hazard lights and drove away. I will go there again in the future, but I was unwilling to give in to the bad weather this time.

On April 27, we set out from Baicao Road subway station in Chengdu and arrived at the Balang Mountain Pass in more than three hours, at an altitude of 4,480 meters. I felt a little dizzy and my breathing quickened. The weather was super good, with blue sky and white clouds. I put on more clothes and started to walk up the mountain. It took more than two hours to reach the top, at an altitude of about 4,680 meters. The snow scenery was beautiful, and it felt great to see Yaomei Peak from a distance. There was a snow pit with every step when we went down the mountain, up to the root of our thighs, which was so sore. It took more than an hour to get down, which was easier than going up.

Between Wolong Nature Reserve and Siguniang Mountain lies a mountain - Balang Mountain (5040 meters above sea level). Nowadays, most people go to Balang Mountain from the underground tunnel of Balang Mountain, and rarely go around from the top. Compared with winter, the snow on the road is very dangerous. At 8 o'clock in the evening, when we were about to reach the halfway point of Balang Mountain, we saw the sea of ​​clouds. It was really beautiful, but it was difficult to take pictures at night. The trip to Mount Siguniang was a last-minute arrangement, mainly because it was very hot in Chongqing these days, so it would be better to cool down in western Sichuan before going back.

But the weather was bad and it kept raining. But the scenery along the way, especially when crossing Mount Balang, was particularly beautiful!

After the Balangshan Tunnel was opened, there is no need to cross the pass, but when the weather is good, you can still see the snow-capped mountains and the sea of ​​clouds before passing through the tunnel~ It's beautiful! I hope you can see it when you pass by here~
