U37 Creative Warehouse is a creative base hidden in an old neighborhood in Chengdu. I have visited quite a few creative bases. This kind of creative base itself sells ideas. Many tourists don’t even know what they can buy or what they should buy. Most of them come here to take pictures and collect materials. Only a handful of people actually stay here to consume. This may be a common problem of creative bases at present.

The creative blocks next to the old residential areas have a different world. The renovation of old buildings, although the appearance remains unchanged, is often full of different vitality inside.

The creative warehouse is home to a variety of small shops with a literary and artistic atmosphere, various niche creative brands and companies, and the ones who survive in the end are the winners. There are many photography agencies in the park, and wedding photography is very common.

Compared with the East Suburbs, it is too small and is located deep in the city, feeling the striking industrial style of the East Suburbs Memory, which is more or less "unworthy of its name".

But here there are green trees and vines covering the exterior of the buildings. It is quiet and elegant. It is very pleasant to relax, slow down the pace of life and spend a leisurely afternoon.

For the megacity of Chengdu, its existence is like a hidden "paradise".

If you are tired of the bright lights and nightlife of the downtown, you might as well come to these creative parks to find poetry and distant places.

My friend recommended me the cultural and creative areas in Chengdu. I chose the U37 Creative Warehouse, which is not far from the city center. I came here early in the morning to check it out, but I was a little disappointed. There was only a small park, and it seemed that the business was depressed. There were basically no cultural and creative products. The only thing that could reflect creativity was the graffiti on the surrounding walls. As for shops, the only ones left were art exhibitions, office areas and photography studios.

Maybe I was not well-informed before. This is the first time I have seen a creative park focusing on wedding photography. There are many places to take pictures, but the beauty only exists in the photos. The seemingly fashionable shops are just the background. I feel that the connotation of Chengdu Pharmaceutical Group can be better utilized to do something, but in the end, only a fairly large outdoor real-scene shooting base was built. In fact, many so-called creative parks have deviated from their original intentions. Each factory has its own unique characteristics. If you are not willing to use even a little "creativity" and the scenes look the same, what kind of creative park is it!

It was originally a warehouse and office building for the pharmaceutical group, with a total of 10 old warehouses and office buildings. Like other creative parks, it brings together cultural and creative studios, restaurants, cafes, flower shops, youth hostels... The buildings are mainly single-story board houses, painted and matched with bold colors, just like the dreamy fairy tale world in childhood. The distance between one building and another is filled with countless interesting small objects. I originally thought that this season would be more decadent, but I didn't expect to meet several couples taking wedding photos in the park, as well as tourists who came to check in like us. The scattered old things of all sizes have become fashionable goods today. Experiencing the old times in a new era is also a way to prolong the life of "old things". There are ten buildings and five alleys. There are many places to take pictures. Unfortunately, the weather was bad and the girl didn't take pictures for me, so I could only leave with little interest...

Compared to Dongjiao Memory, U37 is a more niche art check-in spot. God knows I found it next to the vegetable market and almost thought I was in the wrong place. It fits the temperament of the market culture. U37 is small and exquisite, with vines and green plants everywhere. Various fresh shops, cafes, fashion stores and restaurants are integrated into a small space, but each store feels like a lot to explore, and there is a different world. My friend and I spent two hours shopping in two fashion stores. The clothes are really beautiful and rarely seen elsewhere.

U37 Creative Warehouse is located at No. 37, Shuinianhe South Street, Jinjiang District, Chengdu, so it is called U37 Creative Warehouse. As stated in the introduction column of U37 Creative Warehouse, it was originally a warehouse and factory of Chengdu Pharmaceutical Group. Most of the buildings here were built in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, with very distinct characteristics of the times.

Take bus No. 58 and get off at Shuinianhe Station.

It is a renovated old factory area. There are similar places in many cities now. It has a small literary style as a whole. Many people come here to take photos. It is one of my travel photography spots.

The graffiti on the walls, the fences covered with ivy, and various small shops are also full of literary and artistic atmosphere, but the park is small and a bit old.

There are many cafes, bars, photography shops, clothing stores, etc. The entire warehouse is very suitable for taking pictures, and many people come here every day to take pictures. Outside the cultural and creative warehouse is an old community with a lively atmosphere. There are supermarkets, pharmacies, and fruit shops.

It's not as good as I imagined. It's not big inside, and there are many bungalows built for rent. If you go there on purpose, you will be disappointed.

This is also a place that many local photographers in Chengdu love to come and often visit. There are a thousand ideas for a thousand Hamlets, so the photos here are taken efficiently.

The focus of U37 Creative Warehouse is creativity. The color combinations inside are very different from those in daily life. Coming here makes people feel like escaping. It is a good place for couples to date or relax on weekends.

This is a creative park with cafes, hair salons, custom bicycle shops, youth hostels, dessert schools, art training centers, and even many studios for Internet companies.

There aren't as many people here as there are in Dongjiao Memory, and the place isn't as big as Dongjiao Memory, but as long as you have an eye that can discover beauty, you can still find a lot of things to photograph.

There is a broken piano outside the store for tourists to take photos. Many people who come here will take a celebrity photo here.

Compared with the vicissitudes and nostalgia of Dongjiao Memories, U37 Creative Warehouse has a different flavor, with graffiti all over the wall, disdainful trash cans, a corner, a dilapidated door panel, and even a warning sign... everywhere reflects a strong romantic feeling and ingenious artistic conception.

The entrance is hard to find and the place is not big, but the artistic conception is quite good!!!

U37 Creative Park is an old warehouse. I rode my bicycle here and regretted why I went to the ubiquitous Starbucks. Why didn't I come here to find a store and sit down to enjoy the quiet afternoon. Seeing that some stores are surrounded by green plants, I feel very comfortable. Friends who come to the Creative Park should not miss the sugar-coated fruits sold at the door. I have eaten several in Chengdu, and this one is the best. I don't like sweets, but this one is really delicious, 3 yuan a bunch.

The main reason I went to U37 was to look for two small shops I wanted to visit. My shop exploration always involves vintage shops and grocery stores.

It is quiet and interesting in a bustling place. If you are a person with petty-bourgeois temperament and romantic spirit, sitting down and drinking afternoon tea at U37 Creative Warehouse is definitely the best choice.

Tips: Some integrated stores allow tourists to take photos. However, for stores that prohibit taking photos, you only need to order a cup of coffee. U37 is not only suitable for literary and artistic young people. Wedding dresses and two-dimensional cosplayers can show off their style here.

U37 Entrepreneurship Park is full of creative studios, with many new designer clothing stores, a Japanese buyer's doll store, all the treasures in the store are bought by him personally from Japan, and a unique motorcycle-style coffee shop. However, looking at the whole place, there are more photo shoots, and many shops upstairs are closed. It feels a bit depressed. After a quick look, we rushed to the embrace of the hot pot we missed for a long time.

This park is built inside a residential area. You can see it as soon as you walk in. There are breakfast stalls on both sides of the street, giving you a feeling of tranquility in the midst of bustling city.

When you walk in, you will see some self-operated creative shops, including wedding photography, cafes, restaurants, and some shops and companies. It’s a little early so there aren’t many people there, but the overall atmosphere is very good.

U37 doesn't look amazing on the surface, but once you get in, you'll find that it's a hidden gem. It can be said to be a paradise hidden in the city life. The first feeling is that there are really few people, mostly locals, and there are almost no tourists, which really touched my heart.

There are 10 old warehouses and office buildings in total, as well as many native trees and good greening. After a walk around, you will find coffee shops, food shops, book bars, creative workshops, music venues, and a graffiti wall that is more than 100 meters long, which is a great place for taking photos.

It is not recommended to go to U37 Creative Factory, which is a creative circle converted from a former factory. The venue is very small and cannot be compared with 798 in Beijing.

There were many people in the Creative Park taking pictures of clothes, so there were a lot of thin and beautiful young ladies. I also met a loli who came to shoot a MV.

This creative park is not big, and it only takes one or two hours to take pictures around it.

This place is not big. If you bring a friend who is good at taking photos and you are good at posing, you can take pictures anywhere and create artistic photos.

This is my first time to review on China-TravelNote. As a local, I have not been to many new places like Chengdu. I fell in love with taking photos in the past year. I plan to check in a landmark building in the next week (if I have no other plans)

Similar to Beijing's 798, it is a creative park converted from a former factory. There are cafes and pubs. It should be quite lively at night, suitable for literary and artistic people to take photos. It is not far from Chunxi Road. If you have enough time, you can go and experience it.

PS: There is a building in the creative zone where you can go to the rooftop via an external staircase. You can see Chengdu from afar and experience the feeling of the city.

When I went there, there were a lot of people taking artistic photos and wedding photos. It's not very big, but I think it's better than Dongjiao Memory. It's very leisurely and there are many places to take photos.

No tickets are required, it's very artistic, and you can probably take photos for a whole day with your girlfriends! There is a "Hui" coffee shop as soon as you enter the door. The environment is good, the service is good, the things are not expensive, and the key is that some small details make you feel that the owner is very considerate! This is the first time I have seen such a considerate store! There is a very arrogant cat inside, so cute! Creative Park may be in the middle of winter when we went there, it was too cold, and there were not many people, but it is estimated that many people took wedding photos because there are many wedding photography shops! If the schedule is not rushed, it is still a place worth visiting, very casual and artistic!

Although U37 is small, it is a good place for both office and business, with a wedding dress shop, a photography shop, a clothing shop, a beverage shop, and a boxing gym...

I have been here twice, once in the winter of 2017 and again in the summer of 2017.

It's so hot in the summer that sweat is pouring down. However, when taking photos, you still have to pretend to be very cool and show all kinds of "haha, I don't care" gestures.

There are very few people taking photos at U37 in winter, and there is little sunshine in Chengdu in winter. Unfortunately, we went there to take photos when there was no sunshine. Even though there were few people, it was quiet and empty, the photos were all photoshopped.

U37 was formerly a factory of a pharmaceutical group. The reconstruction began in 2012, and there is still one workshop that has not been moved out. In the park, the first floor is mainly for specialty restaurants, mostly cafes, as well as some clothing stores and handicraft shops.



The floors above the second floor are mostly occupied by advertising companies, training institutions, specialty hotels, etc.

But there are hardly any people coming here, and many shops are locked.



Why is it so deserted? There are usually few people in the park, and the flow of customers is greatly affected by weather conditions. The biggest problem is the lack of parking spaces. Many customers said that they had to find a place with great difficulty but left in disappointment because there was no way to park.

U37 Creative Warehouse is like this, it takes time to be understood by people. The original old warehouse has developed into a petty bourgeoisie place as if time has pushed it forward and frozen it here. It was discovered by people rather than created.

I think Creative Warehouse is similar to Dongjiao Memory, but it is very small. There are a few unique cafes and a cat-themed cafe, but because of its remote location, small place, and nothing interesting around, there is not much point in going there...

This creative park is located in a residential area of ​​Shuinian River. It was rebuilt from an abandoned factory building. It is similar to Chengdu East Suburb Park. It is smaller than East Suburb, but more popular and more refined. There are several photography studios and beauty and hairdressing schools in the park, all of which are institutions for young people to start businesses. The photography studio here is much cheaper than the photo studio, and the image is created according to the temperament of the guests. It is very good. It only costs more than 1,200 yuan to take three sets of photos. Some bungalows have been converted into cafes. Don’t look at who is in power outside. There are still many guests in the cafe, and the price is not cheap. The three of us were in a cafe and ordered a single set meal (tea + dessert) and a double set meal (a pot of tea + sandwich + Napoleon). It cost a total of 200 yuan. However, the environment of the cafe is very elegant. I am very happy to have afternoon tea here with my sisters. Parking is available in the park and is charged by the hour. We listened from 9:30 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon and spent 35 yuan, which is more expensive. The passages in the park are relatively narrow. Be careful when driving and don’t scratch other cars. In short, it’s not bad here. I like it after coming here once.

If there hadn't been a photo studio here, I wouldn't have known there was such a place in Chengdu. It's quiet in the midst of a bustling city, a petty bourgeoisie in life. This creative warehouse is in a residential area. If you just pass by the entrance of the community, you would never have thought that in a community similar to a vegetable market, there is such a petty bourgeoisie place hidden. The park is two subway stops away from the Chunxi Road business district in the city center. Parking is available inside, and it is charged by the hour. There are not many people. It feels popular and not very noisy. It is suitable for afternoon tea and dating here

It used to be the Hongguang Electron Tube Factory. The office buildings, red brick factory buildings, locomotives and railroad tracks built with aid from the former Soviet Union constitute today's creative park. It has a strong visual impact and a strong sense of nostalgia. It took us a lot of time to find this place, but it is really worth visiting.

The whole park is not big, it is basically transformed from abandoned factory warehouses... It gathers some young shop owners with dreams and creativity, trying to turn their dreams into business~ It has a little bit of literature and art... and a little bit of petty bourgeoisie sentiment, which can always easily capture my heart~

The environment and atmosphere are pretty good. The hostel environment is much better than I expected. The bed in the eight-person room is 35 yuan. The room is very clean and tidy. I think it is worth it.
