But when I looked at the shops in the ancient town, I felt that the ones selling souvenirs and local specialties were a little less prosperous than before.

The tea shop is better decorated than before, but it is no longer packed with tourists.

The restaurants on the bridgehead are quite popular, but many of the old buildings seem to be in poor condition.

Overall, this place is pretty good and very suitable for drinking tea and cooling off.

Parking is free in the second half of the ancient town, but other expenses here are not very cheap.

This ancient town is big. I feel it may be bigger than Jie Zi Ancient Town. Anyway, I felt weak in the legs after walking half way around.

It would be ideal if there were more specialty restaurants.

Most of the houses in the ancient town are of western Sichuan style. Maybe it is because it is newly developed, there are not many tourists even on May Day. It is relatively uncommercialized and many villagers are native residents.

Today's visit to Xinchang Ancient Town is a blessing in my life! Compared with the nearby Anren Ancient Town, Xinchang Ancient Town has a longer history, more authentic buildings, less commercial atmosphere, and more folk customs, as if you were there. The folk customs of Xinchang Ancient Town can be seen at a glance in the ancient streets. The aboriginals come and go, and the ancient houses and old streets in history truly show the past and present of the people of modern Xinchang Ancient Town. History and reality are intertwined, with a unique flavor and interest. There is no political atmosphere and atmosphere of Anren Ancient Town here, and there are not too many tourists. It is quiet and elegant, and it is a good place for both short-term travel and short-term stay!

The exquisiteness of Xinchang Ancient Town lies in the old streets and ancient houses, and even more in the water. The ancient town is located on the bank of Xihe River, and there is a stream running through the entire Xinchang Ancient Town. In addition, I was skeptical about the special snack "Zhou Xue Wang" that was touted on the Internet, so I tasted it today to verify its authenticity. In a nutshell: fried soup, fragrant, large quantity, tender blood, melts in the mouth, and feels good when swallowed; if you add a small dish of cold dishes in the store and two bowls of rice, it's like a living god!

If I have the chance, I will definitely visit Xinchang again and taste Zhou Xuewang again!

I went there in August. It was very quiet compared to other ancient towns. The accommodation was average. The room was 198 yuan per day. The ancient town was small and I could walk around it in half a day. The blood curd there was delicious. The kiwi was also delicious.

Xinchang Ancient Town in Dayi County has a long history and is quiet and large.

The scenery here is beautiful, and the food here is delicious...

It is a suitable place for leisurely wandering nearby. It is not very big, not very lively, not very prosperous. Xinchang Ancient Town is actually one of our places to have lunch. It is most famous for its pig intestines and blood stew, and the most popular one is Zhou Xuewang. If you want to eat it, you must go early to queue up because there are really a lot of people.

Compared with the noisy and chaotic ancient towns such as Jiezi and Luodai around Chengdu, Xinchang is a little far away, but it gives people a very comfortable feeling. After eating Zhouxuewang at noon, you can choose to drink tea and play mahjong by the river. I personally prefer to drink tea by the small river near the river. There are not so many people, and the environment is much quieter than that by the big river. I will go back around 5 or 6 o'clock. It is very suitable to go there to change my mood on weekends.

Maybe because we arrived at 7pm, there were not many shops open. But the scenery is beautiful, and it feels very suitable for weekend stay. I plan to find a chance to go there again in the future. Although I didn't eat at his old brand, the taste of this shop is also very good, and it's not expensive. Look how clean we eat! The most important thing is to sit outdoors by the water, it feels great!

On a sunny day, if you are tired of Huanglongxi, if you happen to be in the direction of Chengwenqiong, if you only have half a day, and if you have low expectations, Xinchang Ancient Town is a little surprise. Yes, as long as there is running water, the town will become spiritual, not to mention rivers and streams. The ancient town is not ancient, but more of a leisure feeling. After strolling around, take the Yeerba bought on the way, seasonal fruits, find a tree you like near the water, make a cup of tea, chat or play poker and mahjong, which is a typical Sichuan style...

I told my mother-in-law that I wanted to go to a place one hour away from Chengdu, with a river and no entrance fee, so my mother-in-law took us there. We drove from Chengdu, took the Chengwenqiong Expressway, exited Wangsi, and then turned right and went straight. Compared with famous attractions, there are fewer people here. It's a very comfortable town. I recommend Zhouxuewang, a small portion is 30 yuan per pot, and rice is 1 yuan per person.

The biggest feature of Xinchang Ancient Town among the ancient towns near Chengdu is that the ancient town is relatively independent, well preserved, and has few traces of artificial construction. It is also located on the Huashuiwan and Xiling Snow Mountain tourist loop. Due to its unique characteristics, more and more people are now coming to Xinchang Ancient Town for tourism and leisure. I want to tell you that the pig blood in Xinchang Ancient Town is particularly famous, and there are many blood sellers in the town. But the most authentic and famous one is Zhou Xuewang on the old street. This blood has many diners. There are crowds of people around 12 noon every day, and basically there is nothing after 1 pm. Therefore, if you want to taste the blood curd, it is best to go after 11 o'clock, so that there are fewer people. To go to Xinchang Ancient Town, take the Chengwenqiong Expressway and get off at Wangsi, and follow the signs to Xinchang Ancient Town; you can also come back from Huashuiwan and take the ring road to Xinchang Ancient Town. You can experience it yourself, and you will feel good.

The last Sichuan Basin! We visited 4 ancient towns in this trip, and this was the best one. If there is no local guide, ordinary tourists will not go here.

Walking in, it is a quiet place under the clear stream and trees, beautiful like a scroll slowly unfolding in front of you. As the largest ancient building complex in western Sichuan preserved in Sichuan, it is indeed not covered. Thanks to the people of Xinchang for not overdeveloping. Along the water, along the bluestone road, with white walls and eaves on both sides, it feels that the tired shell of the city is gradually being stripped off by the air in the ancient town. The air is very fresh and you can smell the sweet smell. The photos taken are also very beautiful.

Xinchang Ancient Town is located in Dayi County. I didn't pay attention to how to get there specifically, as I wasn't driving. It seemed that I just took the Wenqiong Expressway and got off at Wangsi. There are not many people in the ancient town. While many old buildings are preserved, there are also many newly built teahouses. There is a small river running through the town. It's nice whether you sit by the river to play mahjong or walk around with a camera.

There is a well-preserved and most awesome fly restaurant in Xinchang Ancient Town. The restaurant used to be dirty, but it is better now. I felt that it was a bit hard to sit in the past, but when eating, there are a lot of people, just because its blood curd is very good and famous far and wide.

Xinchang Ancient Town is located in the western part of Chengdu Plain. It is an area with both hills and dams. It has convenient transportation. Xinchang is nice and its blood sausage is very famous. I visited here with my friends on Sunday.

When we arrived at Xinchang Ancient Town, the streets of the ancient town were still in a semi-developed state, so there were not many people, most of them were residents of the town.

The ancient town still maintains the original Western Shu water town style architecture. On weekends, you can come here to bask in the sun and drink tea, which is quiet and leisurely. Blood pork intestines and sesame duck are the delicacies that you cannot miss when you come here. When you go home, you can also take some handmade wide noodles with the ancient town's characteristics.

There are 15 well-preserved ancient streets and alleys from the Qing Dynasty in the ancient town, including Shangzheng Street, Xiazheng Street, Taipingzheng Street, Taiping Street, Taiping Heng Street, Xiangshi Street and Heba Street. The residential buildings are in the style of Ming and Qing Dynasties but also highlight the characteristics of Western Sichuan architecture. The endlessly flowing river passes through the Eryan Canal and passes through the ancient town, blending with the ancient buildings. The beautiful scenery of "small bridges, flowing water and houses" can be seen everywhere. It is the largest and best-preserved Western Shu water town in western Sichuan.

It's also very fun inside. There are a lot of things for sale in the ancient town. I liked a sharpened samurai sword, and the price was not very expensive. Unfortunately, I couldn't bring it back to Beijing, so I gave up.
