Taohua Village belongs to Niuping Village, Huanghua Township, Yiling District, Yichang City, Hubei Province. Formerly known as Taoshuping, Taohua Village is located on the shores of the Xiling Gorge at Nanjin Pass in Yichang City, Hubei Province, across the river from the Gezhouba Dam project and adjacent to Baima Cave and Xialao Creek. It is the only scenic spot in Yichang, and indeed in Central China, dedicated to collecting and preserving the diversity of peach blossom varieties, integrating them with peach blossom culture to promote public understanding of the rich variety of peach blossoms. Covering 123 mu (approximately 16 acres), the area boasts 47 varieties and over 4,000 trees, including rare and international varieties such as Red Peach, White Peach, and Golden Peach. The flowering seasons are staggered, with wild peaches blooming first, followed by naturally occurring peaches, fruiting peaches, and ornamental peaches, in a cascading pattern.
