Aria-Park MGM-Bellagio - Walkway/Tram

So now that I read that the walkway between Vdara and Bellagio is closed I have become confused lol

My crew is staying in Park and I am staying in Vdara. Usually we just walk between Bellagio/Aria/Vdara/Park & Cosmo. Is it going to be easier for everyone to use the Aria tram to get around?

I have never used it before.

Navigating the Strip hotels around Aria, Vdara, Park MGM, Bellagio, and Cosmopolitan can be a bit confusing, especially with recent walkway closures. Here's a detailed breakdown to help you plan your walking and tram options.

Previously, guests could walk directly between Vdara and Bellagio through a dedicated walkway, which made moving between hotels relatively straightforward. With that walkway now closed, guests staying at Vdara will need to use alternative routes to reach Bellagio and connected hotels.

The Aria tram is a convenient option in this area. It connects several key hotels and can save time and energy, especially if you are carrying bags or walking with a group. Here’s how it works:

  • The Aria Tram runs between Aria, Park MGM, and Bellagio. It is free for all guests and operates frequently, roughly every 5–7 minutes during peak times.
  • If your crew is staying at Park MGM, the tram is the easiest way for them to reach Bellagio or Aria without walking long distances along the Strip or through construction detours.
  • Vdara is connected to Aria via a short indoor walkway, so you can reach the tram easily from Vdara. From there, you can ride to Park MGM or Bellagio.

Additional tips for using the tram:

  • The tram is indoors, air-conditioned, and accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, and luggage, making it comfortable compared to outdoor walking.
  • Signage at the hotels is clear, but it’s helpful to ask hotel staff at Vdara or Aria for directions to the tram platform the first time.
  • Walking is still possible, but you may need to detour around closed walkways or use exterior sidewalks, which can be crowded or less direct.

In summary, with the Vdara-to-Bellagio walkway closed, using the Aria Tram is probably the easiest, fastest, and most comfortable option for your group to navigate between Park MGM, Aria, and Bellagio. Walking is possible but less convenient under the current conditions.
