Happy Hour on the strip with teens

Any suggestions for a good happy hour on the strip? We went to STK Cosmopolitan last night and they have $7 apps and $10 signature drinks… Steak tips, mini burger, Shrimp, salmon and more, AND we were able to bring our teens in the bar seating area.

Any other recommendations for quality/value/vibe on the strip? We are now on a mission to try a few more this week, my family would rather spend the time bouncing around casino properties then a 2 hour dinner, but I still want the better places. Happy hour seems to be like quality fast food- if that makes sense.

Thank you and Happy New Yesr to all!!

Happy New Year! It's great that you're exploring happy hour options on the Strip with your teens. Happy hour is a fantastic way to enjoy good food and drinks without committing to a long dinner, and many places on the Strip offer a fun vibe, delicious bites, and even teen-friendly options. Here are a few great recommendations for quality, value, and atmosphere:

  • Chica (The Venetian): Chica offers a vibrant Latin-inspired menu with a lively atmosphere, perfect for a family-friendly vibe. They offer an excellent happy hour with small bites like tacos, ceviches, and guacamole, plus cocktails at a great price. The energetic vibe is a fun one for teens while still offering a nice setting for adults.
  • The Happy Hour at The Wynn and Encore: Both The Wynn and Encore have multiple spots with great happy hour offerings. The lobby bar in The Wynn is a popular choice with a range of cocktails, wine, and tapas-style dishes. Their vibe is upscale but still relaxed, making it a nice spot for families, and they are welcoming to all ages in the early evening.
  • Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen (Caesars Palace): The happy hour menu at Hell's Kitchen includes affordable signature drinks and some delicious small bites like crispy calamari and their famous Beef Wellington sliders. The energy is lively, and it's a great place to bring teens since the setting is always bustling and fun, but still elevated in terms of food quality.
  • The Pool Deck at Mandalay Bay: If you're looking for a slightly more relaxed vibe, head to the pool deck bar at Mandalay Bay. Their happy hour includes discounted drinks, and they often offer light bites like sliders and fries that both teens and adults will enjoy. The outdoor setting gives it a unique atmosphere, especially during the late afternoon as the sun begins to set.
  • Ember (The Mirage): A sleek, trendy bar with a great happy hour offering, Ember has a fantastic selection of creative cocktails and tasty appetizers like bruschetta and sliders. The vibe here is upscale but laid-back enough for a family with teens. It's perfect for a quick stop before heading to your next casino adventure.
  • Fiamma (MGM Grand): For a more Italian-inspired happy hour, Fiamma offers delicious pizza slices, bruschetta, and some great drink specials, including wine and specialty cocktails. It's an inviting atmosphere with a touch of elegance, and teens will enjoy the casual Italian food options while adults can appreciate the drink deals.
  • Yardbird Southern Table & Bar (The Venetian): Known for its great Southern comfort food, Yardbird offers a fun and relaxed happy hour with great drinks and bites like fried chicken, mac and cheese, and their famous cornbread. It's a family-friendly spot with a lively yet down-to-earth vibe, making it perfect for families with teens who enjoy hearty meals in a casual setting.
  • Blume (The Cosmopolitan): If you want a lively, hip vibe with a trendy atmosphere, Blume at The Cosmopolitan offers a fantastic happy hour. They feature small plates like edamame and poke bowls, along with a great drink menu that’s not overly expensive. The fun, upbeat ambiance makes it a popular spot for both families and younger crowds.

These places all offer great happy hour experiences with food and drink options that appeal to both adults and teens. They're also lively enough to keep the energy high but still family-friendly, with something for everyone. Since your family prefers bouncing around the casinos, these happy hours will allow you to sample different places, try a variety of dishes, and keep the pace moving without being tied down to a long dinner. Enjoy your time in Vegas and the great happy hour experiences!
