Restaurant Recommendations!
Hello!
My husband and I arrive in Palm Springs on Monday, 10/28 and are staying in a timeshare unit at Vista Mirage. Our wedding anniversary is on 10/31 Halloween and we are looking for a really nice restaurant to celebrate. We like all kinds of food....steak, seafood, mexican, chinese, malaysian, etc etc. Prefer outdoor seating with a view, if that is at all possible. We know it gets dark around 6:30 or so and prefer to eat before 7:00 PM, also if possible.
Thanks so much in advance!.
Palm Springs has a fantastic dining scene, and for a special occasion like your wedding anniversary, there are several standout options that offer excellent food and ambiance. Given your preference for outdoor seating with a view and an early dinner, here are some highly recommended choices:
- Spencer’s Restaurant – Located in the Uptown Design District, Spencer’s offers a beautiful outdoor patio surrounded by lush gardens. The menu features steak, seafood, and other American classics. Ideal for a romantic anniversary dinner with a scenic ambiance.
- Workshop Kitchen + Bar – This is a trendy, modern American restaurant with a focus on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. The outdoor patio has a stylish industrial-chic vibe, perfect for an early dinner. While it leans more towards American cuisine, it’s a highly praised fine dining experience.
- Lulu California Bistro – Located on Palm Canyon Drive, Lulu has a vibrant outdoor patio and offers a broad menu with steaks, seafood, and international dishes. The festive atmosphere makes it lively yet still suitable for a special occasion.
- Copley’s on Palm Canyon – Set in a historic building, Copley’s features a mix of American and global dishes, including excellent seafood and steak options. The outdoor seating is charming, with a romantic ambiance especially around sunset.
- Chi Chi at Indian Canyons Golf Resort – If you want a resort-style view, Chi Chi offers a serene outdoor setting overlooking the golf course and mountains. They have a mix of American and international cuisine and are known for attentive service.
Additional considerations:
- Make a reservation well in advance, especially since your anniversary falls on Halloween, which is a popular night for dining out.
- Request a table on the patio when making the reservation to ensure you get outdoor seating with a view.
- Plan to start your dinner around 5:30–6:00 PM to enjoy daylight before sunset and avoid any rush.
All of these options provide high-quality food, a romantic setting, and the ability to enjoy Palm Springs’ pleasant evening weather. Spencer’s and Copley’s are particularly recommended if you want a balance of scenic outdoor seating and upscale dining experience for your special anniversary.
