Recommendations for hotel off strip

Hi

Will be headed to Vegas in the spring for 2 nights. We will get in on a Tuesday afternoon and leave Thursday morning. Just a quick stopover on our way some place else.

Any recommendations for a hotel off the strip? Can be 10-15 minutes away. Not so much into doing the casinos. Will have a car so will probably do a quick visit to the strip

Trying to stay under $150 a night. Any places include coffeemaker in room and/or breakfast?

Thanks

If you're looking for a comfortable stay off the Strip in Las Vegas with a car, here are some options for hotels that are around 10-15 minutes away, fit your budget under $150 per night, and may include amenities like a coffeemaker and breakfast:

  • La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Las Vegas Airport South

This hotel is a great choice if you're looking for convenience and affordability. It’s about 10-15 minutes from the Strip, and they offer free breakfast and rooms with coffeemakers. The hotel also has a free shuttle to the airport if needed, but a car will make it easy to access other parts of the city.

  • Best Western McCarran Inn

Located just off the Strip and a short drive from the airport, this hotel offers a free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and rooms with coffeemakers. It’s also a good budget-friendly option that is still close to Las Vegas attractions without being right in the middle of the action.

  • Hampton Inn & Suites Las Vegas-Red Rock/Summerlin

Located in the Summerlin area, this Hampton Inn is about a 15-minute drive from the Strip. It offers complimentary breakfast, a fitness center, and rooms with coffeemakers. It's a quieter area of town, so you can enjoy a peaceful stay while still being close enough to explore Las Vegas.

  • SpringHill Suites by Marriott Las Vegas North

This hotel is a little further north, near the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It offers spacious suites, free breakfast, and rooms with coffeemakers. It’s a good option if you want a larger room for a little extra space during your short stay.

  • The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod

Though it is technically just off the Strip, this one is still worth considering for your budget. They offer rooms at lower rates with amenities such as a coffeemaker, plus a good selection of dining options. The view from the top of the STRAT is also worth visiting during your short stay.

These options all offer a good mix of value and convenience. Staying off the Strip will allow you to avoid some of the chaos of the busy tourist areas but still give you quick access to major attractions when you want to visit. Since you’re planning to visit briefly, these hotels should give you a comfortable base while staying within your budget. Also, each of these hotels typically includes free breakfast and coffee, which can be a great perk.

Happy travels, and enjoy your brief stay in Las Vegas!
