2025 Big Game Watch advice?

Received some good advice on a thread like this last month, don't count on Sportsbook or bar access for the Super Bowl Find a "Game Watch" event.

I've been looking the past couple weeks and the Mandalay concierge let us know that events will be announced in upcoming weeks.

Do all the casinos have on site game watch events? Maybe in a convention room?

(i know on cruise ships they often put the game on the outdoor and indoor theaters for the masses to watch)

We did find an event at the video game arena at the Luxor which is 5 hours of open bar for $165 pp but a la carte food. That sounded unique. I think we're looking at something walkable from Mandalay to MGM Grand.

For the 2025 Big Game (Super Bowl) in Las Vegas, you're on the right track by seeking out a "Game Watch" event instead of relying solely on sportsbooks or bars. Many casinos, hotels, and other venues host special Super Bowl events, and there are several options for a great viewing experience. Here's what you can expect, including some suggestions near Mandalay Bay and MGM Grand:

Casino Game Watch Events: While not every casino will host a "Game Watch" event in a convention room, many will have large viewing areas, especially for major events like the Super Bowl. These events are often organized in dedicated ballrooms, conference rooms, or even outdoor areas, depending on the casino's setup.

  • MGM Grand: Known for hosting large events in convention spaces, MGM Grand typically offers Super Bowl viewing parties in spacious venues. Expect large screens and potentially a VIP experience with food and drink packages. The casino might also host an event in one of their sports bars or lounges. Check closer to the event for specifics.
  • The Venetian and Palazzo: These resorts often host themed Super Bowl viewing parties, sometimes in their expansive event spaces or poolside areas. They are also known for their high-end viewing experiences with open bars and buffet options.
  • Caesars Palace: Caesars often hosts one of the biggest Super Bowl parties in the city in a large ballroom or convention room. With a spacious setting, large screens, and an upscale atmosphere, this could be a great option if you're looking for a lively experience.

Unique and Themed Game Watch Events: You’re right that the Luxor's video game arena sounds unique! Many casinos and hotels will offer themed events like this, with open bars and food options tailored to the game. Here are a couple of other options that might appeal to your group:

  • Watch the Game at The SuperBook at Westgate: Known for being one of the largest sportsbooks in Vegas, Westgate often hosts incredible Super Bowl watch parties in their SuperBook lounge, with multiple large screens and great food and drink options. This could be an alternative to a convention room-style event.
  • The Pool at Mandalay Bay: While not always available, Mandalay Bay occasionally offers poolside viewing for big events like the Super Bowl. The large pool areas with big screens can offer a more relaxed, outdoor experience with great vibes. It’s also within walking distance of Mandalay Bay.

Walkable Options from Mandalay Bay to MGM Grand: Since you're looking for a venue walkable from Mandalay Bay to MGM Grand, here are a few more options within that stretch:

  • The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay: This venue often hosts a lively Super Bowl watch party with great food, drinks, and a fun atmosphere. It’s a great option if you want to stay within Mandalay Bay for convenience.
  • New York-New York Hotel & Casino: Located not far from MGM Grand, New York-New York is known for offering a great Super Bowl watch experience in its sports bar or outdoor areas. They may also offer event-specific packages for viewing the game.

Other Tips:
- Be sure to book your spot early, as Super Bowl watch parties can sell out quickly, especially at popular venues in Vegas.
- Look for package deals that include open bar, food, and premium seating for the best experience.
- If you’re looking for a more exclusive experience, VIP tables or suites may be available at some venues, offering more comfort and privacy while watching the game.

Hope you find the perfect spot for the big game – Vegas offers plenty of exciting options for this iconic event!
