Special dinner . . .
My husband and I will be in the Rosemary/Panama area on Valentine’s Day. Any recommendations for a nice dinner? We’ll be in pretty casual clothes (jeans, nice sweater) so I’m not looking for the most expensive or fanciest. Love to find great atmosphere, good food, good drinks. Willing to go anywhere on the 30A stretch (or at least, Panama to Miramar). Don’t really have a budget. Thanks!
The 30A stretch and surrounding Panama City Beach area offer a great mix of casual yet romantic restaurants perfect for Valentine’s Day. Since you’re aiming for jeans and a nice sweater, there are plenty of spots with excellent atmosphere, good food, and drinks without being overly formal or pricey.
Restaurant Suggestions
- Fish Out of Water (Rosemary Beach): Upscale-casual beachfront dining with fresh seafood, craft cocktails, and a lovely view. Perfect for a relaxed yet romantic dinner.
- Chiringo (Seacrest Beach/Rosemary): Spanish and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, small plates and cocktails in a cozy, stylish setting. Intimate atmosphere, great for couples.
- La Crema Tapas & Chocolate (Seaside): Charming tapas restaurant with dessert focus, perfect for a casual romantic evening with inventive small plates and wine.
- The Bay (30A, Inlet Beach): Beachfront casual dining with excellent seafood, craft cocktails, and sunset views. Great for a relaxed but scenic dinner.
- Cuvee 30A (Seaside): Modern American cuisine in a casual-chic setting, ideal for enjoying inventive dishes and cocktails without needing formal attire.
Additional Tips
- Valentine’s Day is a busy night, so reservations are strongly recommended for any of these popular spots.
- If you enjoy cocktails, check if the restaurant has a specialty drink menu or craft cocktails to make the evening more festive.
- Many restaurants on 30A emphasize outdoor seating with views, so if the weather is mild, request a table near the window or patio for a more memorable experience.
In summary, for a Valentine’s dinner that balances great food, drinks, and romantic atmosphere without requiring formal attire, any of the above restaurants along the 30A corridor or nearby Panama City Beach will provide an enjoyable and memorable evening.
