We're headed to Vegas in June to see Kenny Chesney at the Sphere. I know every act has it's own setup, but what's the consensus on where to sit in this place for concerts? Generally we like to be up front, but I'm wondering if being further back might be better to take it all in?
Thinking about staying at Fontainebleau. I would appreciate any feedback from the Vegas regulars on this forum. I'm particularly interested in the pool scene as it will be during the summer. Easy to get chairs?
Thanks
For your concert at the Sphere in June, the seating choice largely depends on what kind of experience you're looking for. The Sphere offers an immersive experience that might change based on the event, but here's some general advice:
1. Closer to the Stage (Front): If you're a fan of seeing the performers up close, the front of the venue might be your ideal choice. However, remember that being very close to the stage may limit your view of the full visual experience, as the Sphere uses high-tech visuals, and these can be more immersive from a bit further back. You also get a lot of sound and energy up front, which some people love.
2. Further Back: If you're someone who enjoys a more comprehensive view of the entire show—especially for big, visual shows like concerts—the back or middle section can give you the full effect. The Sphere is designed to offer a 360-degree experience, and being a bit further back allows you to take in the entire atmosphere. This can be especially worth it if the event incorporates a lot of visuals and effects, as you'll get the full scope of the immersive experience.
In general, middle to slightly back sections seem to be the best for an all-around immersive experience where you can see both the performers and the visuals around you. But if you like the energy and vibe of being closer to the artist, being up front is great as well.
As for staying at Fontainebleau, it's one of the newer resorts in Vegas, and the pool scene should be excellent during the summer! Here's what you can expect:
In short, Fontainebleau should provide a solid Vegas pool experience, but plan ahead for chair reservations, especially during summer weekends, to avoid disappointment!
Hope this helps, and enjoy your Vegas trip! It sounds like it'll be a fantastic time with great concerts and a great hotel choice.
