Dinner/ early eats pre 7pm mad apple

Have had some great suggestions in other thread (including STK happy hour)

Planning mad apple 7pm Friday show. Wary of spending all my time at the cosmo if we go to superfrico and STK.

As you wander up to NYNY is there anywhere you would highly recommend?

Thinking casual food, not fine dining. Not worried about price (within reason)

Trying not to pin myself to cosmo (which I’ve wanted to come to for 15 years) esp when I have not been to vegas for 12 years!

If you're looking for a good spot for a casual bite before the 7pm Mad Apple show at New York-New York, and you want to avoid staying exclusively within the Cosmo, you're in luck! The area between the Cosmo and NYNY has plenty of great options to satisfy your craving for something casual without venturing too far.

Here are some places you might want to check out as you make your way toward NYNY:

  • Secret Pizza (Cosmopolitan): If you're looking for a quick, casual stop with great pizza, Secret Pizza at the Cosmo is a hidden gem. It's laid-back, delicious, and very casual. You could grab a slice here before heading to the show.
  • Shake Shack (NYNY): If you're craving a solid burger and fries, Shake Shack is a classic and located conveniently just outside NYNY. It's fast-casual, perfect for a quick, satisfying meal before the show.
  • California Pizza Kitchen (Park MGM): For a casual dining option with a variety of pizza and pasta, California Pizza Kitchen at the Park MGM is a short walk from the Cosmo. It’s casual but a step up from fast food with good quality dishes.
  • In-N-Out Burger (LINQ Promenade): If you’re craving a quick and iconic burger experience, In-N-Out is just a few minutes away at the LINQ Promenade. It’s affordable and perfect for a casual meal before heading to the show.
  • Heart Attack Grill (Downtown Fremont Street): For something truly Vegas, try the Heart Attack Grill. While it's a little further from the strip, it’s an unforgettable experience. Think burgers served in a hospital-themed setting—fun, kitschy, and casual.
  • Black Tap (The Venetian): Known for their over-the-top milkshakes, Black Tap also offers an extensive menu of burgers, sandwiches, and casual bites. A bit of a walk but not too far if you want a fun vibe and a filling meal before the show.
  • Giada (The Cromwell): While not exactly “casual,” Giada offers a more relaxed, yet still upscale, environment for a quick Italian meal. If you’re in the mood for something different and a bit more refined, this might be a great option.
  • Blaze Pizza (The LINQ Promenade): Fast, fresh, and custom-made pizzas. Perfect for a quick, casual meal if you're short on time but still want something tasty.

These spots are a mix of convenient, quick options and fun places for a casual meal on your way from Cosmo to NYNY. The location is fantastic, as you're not locked into one hotel or restaurant, and you'll still have time to get to the show.

Hope this gives you some good ideas to explore and enjoy a meal before your Mad Apple performance!
