Looking for Logan Meet-up Spot

My friend and I are meeting at Logan airport via Concord Coach Line for her and Logan Express for me. We are flying out on the same flight early the next morning. We are planning to get out of the bus on the lower level because, once we hook up, we’ll call the hotel shuttle and arrive at the hotel together. I assume that the hotel shuttle would go to the lower level.

We are looking for a spot where we could duck out of a cold wind, in case one of us is late, but really don’t know Logan well enough to figure out what would be a good spot. Both shuttles stop at A,B,C, and E terminals.

Thanks for any advice. It will be appreciated.

Meeting at Logan Airport for a shuttle can be a bit tricky with the various terminals and levels, but I can definitely help you find a good spot to wait out of the cold if one of you is running late. Since you're arriving at the lower level and waiting for the hotel shuttle, here are some tips:

Where to Wait on the Lower Level:

  • Terminal A Lower Level: If you're meeting at Terminal A, there are covered areas where you can duck out of the wind while waiting. Near the curbside pick-up, you'll find some benches and sheltered areas that should help you stay out of the weather. There’s also a small waiting area inside near the luggage claim area.
  • Terminal B Lower Level: Terminal B is a bit more compact, but it has a large indoor waiting area that you can use. You’ll be close to the shuttles, so it’s easy to spot the shuttle when it arrives. There’s a small seating area inside that’s warm and sheltered from the wind.
  • Terminal C Lower Level: Terminal C also has indoor seating areas near baggage claim and the lower level that you can use while waiting for your friend. It’s quieter than some of the other terminals, and you should be able to spot the shuttle pick-up area without too much trouble.
  • Terminal E Lower Level: Terminal E is typically less busy, especially in the evening, but it has a large indoor area where you can wait comfortably. It’s a good place to wait out of the wind, and you can easily check the shuttle area through the windows if needed.

General Tips:

  • If one of you arrives early, you could use the time to grab a quick coffee or snack from the terminal's cafes, many of which are open late or 24 hours. This can be a nice way to warm up while you wait for your friend.
  • For peace of mind, you might also want to exchange cell phone numbers in case one of you is running late or there are any shuttle delays.
  • If you’re waiting inside and feel like the terminals are too busy, you can always step out towards the curbside for a moment to spot the shuttle, then go back inside to wait in the warmth.

Once you meet up, just call the hotel shuttle to confirm their exact pick-up location (they’ll likely be at the lower level as you guessed), and then you’ll be on your way. With these tips, you’ll have a good, sheltered spot to wait and plenty of time to catch up before heading out to the hotel.

I hope this helps! Have a safe trip and enjoy your stay in Boston!
