Shortcut from Siganture MGM to Dolby Live

Hi! There seems to be a door on Audrie St with a sign MGM Grand Pool Complex. It’s under the District skyway in Google Maps. Can we enter from the street through here or is it only an exit? I’m trying to find a shortcut to/from Dolby Live without having to walk through MGM Grand. Thank you!

The door you're referring to on Audrie Street near the MGM Grand Pool Complex is indeed an entrance/exit for the MGM Grand, but it may not be accessible for general pedestrian traffic from the street. It’s primarily used by guests accessing the MGM Grand’s pool area or for other specific purposes related to the resort's amenities.

However, if you’re trying to find a shortcut between The Signature at MGM and Dolby Live, there are a couple of options to consider:

  • Walking through the MGM Grand: The most straightforward route is to walk through the MGM Grand, passing through the casino and public areas to reach Dolby Live. It's not a long walk, and there are clear signs directing you through the resort.
  • Using the MGM Skyway: If you want to avoid walking through the casino, you can take the Skyway that connects the Signature Towers to the main MGM Grand complex. The Skyway is an indoor walkway that will take you directly into the MGM Grand, and from there you can easily head toward Dolby Live. This is a good option if you want to stay inside and avoid the casino floor.
  • Audrie Street Entrance: While the street-level entrance near the MGM Pool Complex might not always be open to the public, if it is, it could provide a more direct way to reach the MGM Grand’s main lobby. It’s always worth checking if the door is accessible when you’re there, but in most cases, it’s primarily for resort use.

As for a shortcut that bypasses the MGM Grand entirely, unfortunately, there aren’t many direct routes connecting the Signature Towers to Dolby Live without entering MGM Grand. The property is large, and the main route through the hotel complex or the Skyway are typically your best bet.

Lastly, if you want to avoid the hassle of walking through the casino, you can always take a taxi or ride-sharing service for a quicker route, but walking is generally the easiest and most scenic way to get around within the complex.
