China World Summit or Four Seasons ?

hi, for those that have stayed at both, which is the best for a instagramble pool, breakfast variety and location (a subway/metro station close is essential) ? for prespective, we are a family of 4 and will probably do the usual sight seeing. thanks

Both the China World Summit Wing and the Four Seasons Beijing are excellent luxury hotels in the central business district of Beijing, and both offer high-quality experiences, but they have different strengths depending on your priorities.

Instagrammable Pool: The China World Summit Wing has a spectacular indoor infinity pool on a high floor, offering panoramic city views that are very photogenic and perfect for Instagram. The Four Seasons also has a pool, but it is smaller and more understated, with less dramatic views.

Breakfast Variety: The Four Seasons Beijing is widely praised for its breakfast buffet, which has a broad international selection and high-quality presentation, including fresh juices, pastries, and live cooking stations. The China World Summit Wing also offers a luxurious breakfast, but some guests feel the variety is slightly less diverse than the Four Seasons.

Location and Subway Access: Both hotels are in the Chaoyang District near the CBD, close to shopping, dining, and business areas. Subway access is good for both:

  • China World Summit Wing: Very close to Guomao Station (Lines 1 and 10), which makes accessing the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and other sightseeing spots straightforward.
  • Four Seasons Beijing: Also near Guomao Station and within walking distance of central attractions, making metro travel convenient.

Family Considerations: Both hotels are family-friendly and offer spacious rooms suitable for four people. However, if you value a memorable pool experience for kids or Instagram photos, the China World Summit Wing may be slightly better. For breakfast quality and variety, Four Seasons may edge ahead.

Summary Recommendation:

  • If your priority is a dramatic, Instagram-friendly pool and city views: China World Summit Wing.
  • If your priority is breakfast variety and classic luxury comfort: Four Seasons Beijing.
  • Both offer excellent locations near the subway for sightseeing, so transport won’t be an issue.

Either choice will be convenient for a family doing the usual Beijing sightseeing, but your decision can hinge on whether visual impact (pool/photos) or food experience (breakfast) is more important to you.
