Paris - Versailles Tower Questions

So I booked a week stay at Paris in July. Gonna be in town to play some WSOP and whatever else I can find.

Anyway, I was placed in the Versailles tower - Strip view room.

I have stayed at Paris two previous WSOP trips, but both times were in a Bordeaux room. From what I've read the Versailles rooms newly renovated and are basically in the Horseshoe.

Just wondering what are the pros/cons of Versailles compared to a Bordeaux room? Also, is there a Diamond check in for the Versailles tower? Im gonna need to check in early and the Diamond has been nice to do this at and also avoid the long lines.

Thanks for any advice.

Your stay at the Paris Las Vegas in the Versailles Tower sounds exciting! Here’s a comparison between the Versailles Tower and Bordeaux Rooms, as well as some details about check-in options and the Diamond benefits you mentioned:

Versailles Tower vs Bordeaux Rooms

The Versailles Tower rooms are indeed newly renovated and feature a more modern, sleek aesthetic compared to the older Bordeaux rooms. The renovations include updated furniture, fresher design elements, and more contemporary amenities. Since they are now essentially part of the Horseshoe property, these rooms are sometimes considered to have a more upscale vibe, with some added touches like larger bathrooms and more refined decor.

  • Pros of Versailles Tower:
    • Newer, more modern rooms with updated furnishings and fixtures.
    • Better bathrooms with larger showers or tubs.
    • Located closer to the Horseshoe Casino, which could be a plus if you’re planning to visit there during your stay.
    • Possibly quieter and more peaceful since it’s a newer addition with less foot traffic.
  • Cons of Versailles Tower:
    • Could feel a little less “Parisian” than the original Paris rooms. The theming may be more neutral compared to the more distinctly French-inspired Bordeaux rooms.
    • Though renovated, these rooms are sometimes considered slightly smaller than Bordeaux rooms in terms of layout and storage space.
  • Pros of Bordeaux Rooms:
    • Well-established, classic Parisian theme with a more romantic atmosphere, which some guests prefer.
    • Usually larger rooms with more space for lounging or working.
    • Great location for easy access to the casino and the main Paris amenities.
  • Cons of Bordeaux Rooms:
    • Older design and furnishings, which may feel a bit more dated compared to the Versailles Tower.
    • Smaller bathrooms in some rooms compared to the renovated Versailles Tower rooms.

Diamond Check-In for Versailles Tower:

Yes, there is a dedicated Diamond check-in at Paris Las Vegas. The Diamond check-in is typically available at the VIP desk in the main lobby area, and it’s designed to provide a quicker and more streamlined check-in experience. However, when you’re staying in the Versailles Tower, the check-in process might be a little different because the tower is part of the Horseshoe section. You can still use the Diamond check-in for an expedited process, but it’s worth calling ahead to confirm exactly where you should check in for the Versailles Tower specifically.

  • Diamond Benefits: Since you’re a Diamond member, you’ll likely be able to check in earlier, which is great if you want to get settled in before your WSOP events. Make sure to mention your status upon arrival to get the full benefit of early check-in.
  • Best Tip: If you’re concerned about long lines, calling ahead or using the Caesars app to check in online could help avoid any delays. You may also be able to request a specific room in advance if you have any preferences (like a high floor with a Strip view).

Additional Notes:

The Versailles Tower offers some of the best views of the Strip, especially if you're in a Strip view room. So, while the room décor may not be as themed as the Bordeaux rooms, the view alone can make up for that. Enjoy your time in Vegas, and best of luck at the WSOP!
