Scooter usage for mobility limitations

Due to a walking limitation, I'll need to rent a mobile scooter. Do you know if there's an interior walkway that connects vdara to bellagio, Cosmopolitan, Aria and Waldorf Astoria? OR would we need to go to an alternate outside route?

Thank you

Thanks for your question. If you have a mobility limitation and are planning to use a scooter, it's good to know how to navigate between the resorts comfortably.

As for the internal walkways, here's what you need to know:

  • Vdara to Bellagio: There isn't a direct, fully enclosed walkway between Vdara and Bellagio. However, there is a pathway through the CityCenter complex (where Vdara is located) that leads toward Bellagio. You can use the main walkways and there are escalators or elevators along the way. For someone using a mobility scooter, it’s manageable, but it might involve going outside for a short distance as you approach Bellagio.
  • Vdara to Cosmopolitan: There’s an interior connection that takes you from Vdara to Cosmopolitan. You can use the walkway through CityCenter (same as above), but it’s a short outside walk as well, and you should be able to navigate easily with a scooter. The walk from Vdara to Cosmopolitan is relatively easy and direct.
  • Vdara to Aria: There is an interior connection between Vdara and Aria. The walkways are accessible and provide a smoother transition, and you should be able to use your scooter within the complex without having to go outside.
  • Vdara to Waldorf Astoria: There isn’t a direct, interior walkway between Vdara and Waldorf Astoria. However, you can navigate via the CityCenter area and the exterior path, which is a manageable walk with a scooter. It's just a short distance outside, and the pathways are generally accessible.

While most of these resorts have accessible pathways, it's worth noting that there are areas where you might have to briefly exit to an outside route, especially between Vdara and Bellagio or Waldorf Astoria. Most of the resorts are relatively close together, and there are ramps and accessible paths to help with mobility.

If you’re renting a scooter, the hotel should be able to help you with mobility maps or suggest the best routes to take. It's also always a good idea to check with the concierge for the latest accessibility updates and recommendations.

Have a great trip, and I hope you have a smooth experience getting around!
