Polynesian cultural center

Can we go see the polynesian cultural center but not see the luau or dinner? Can't seem to find prices for just admission to the center.

Yes, you can absolutely visit the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) without attending the luau or dinner. The center offers several ticket options that allow guests to explore the villages, watch cultural demonstrations, and attend some of the shows without the evening buffet or luau experience.

The standard admission ticket typically includes access to:

  • The six Polynesian villages: Hawaii, Samoa, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Fiji, Tahiti, and Tonga.
  • Cultural demonstrations such as canoe paddling, coconut husking, traditional crafts, and dance performances.
  • The IMAX or other daytime shows depending on the package purchased.

Tickets that include the luau or evening show are separate and usually sold as “Island Buffet” or “Ha: Breath of Life” packages. If you only want to see the center and its daytime activities, you can purchase the “General Admission” or “Day Admission” tickets. These are significantly cheaper than the packages that include dinner.

  • General Admission (Day Pass) – includes access to the villages, daytime shows, and some activities.
  • Optional add-ons – you can purchase individual activities or shows, such as canoe rides or special performances, during your visit if desired.

It’s recommended to book tickets in advance online, especially for peak tourist seasons, to ensure availability. Arrive early in the day to get the most out of the cultural demonstrations and hands-on experiences before the evening shows begin.

In summary, you do not have to attend the luau or dinner to enjoy the Polynesian Cultural Center. Purchasing the day admission or general admission ticket is the best way to experience the center at a lower cost while still exploring the villages and learning about Polynesian culture.
