There used to be a Maui Jim store in Lahaina that was destroyed in the fire. Is there one on island now?
Great question — yes, there *is* a Maui Jim store open again on Maui (as of mid-2025), despite the original Lahaina store being lost in the 2023 wildfires.
Here’s the current info about Maui Jim on Maui:
- There is a Maui Jim store at (South Maui) — this has been operating since 2019.
- More recently, a new Maui Jim retail location opened (June 28, 2025) at in Kaanapali.
So even though the original Lahaina store is closed, you still have legitimate Maui Jim stores available on the island — one in Wailea and one in Kaanapali. The Kaanapali location should be especially convenient if you’re staying or spending time on the west side of Maui.
