🎭 Aomori’s Fiery Spirit – Nebuta Museum WA RASSE is a Must-See!

We visited Nebuta Museum WA RASSE during our stop in Aomori, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable cultural experiences of our trip. Even though we missed the actual Nebuta Festival, stepping into this museum gave us a strong sense of its energy and grandeur.

The entry fee was very reasonable, and tickets were collected on Level 2. Once inside, we were completely blown away by the massive, vividly illuminated floats on display. These are the top selections from previous festivals, and seeing them up close really helped us appreciate the artistry, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage behind each float. They were incredibly detailed and enormous in scale—you could only imagine how impressive the actual parade must be.

Even though we didn’t get to witness the live festival, this museum did a great job capturing its essence. The exhibits were interactive and informative, and it felt like a walkthrough celebration of Aomori’s identity.

If you’re ever in Aomori, don’t skip this. It’s a fantastic way to connect with local tradition, and it left us with a deep appreciation for the passion that fuels the Nebuta Festival.
