Amankila, a Peach Blossom Land backed by a volcano and facing the sea

Amankila means "Mountain of Tranquility," located in Karangasem Regency in eastern Bali. From the cliffside of the resort, you can overlook the vast Lombok Strait and the volcanic rock formations of Bali's east coast.

The main buildings of Amankila are nestled within the dense forests of Bali's east coast, designed as mountain villas. The resort features a chic three-tiered infinity pool on the cliff edge, where the sea meets the sky, creating an extremely romantic atmosphere. The entire hotel feels like a real-life "dreamy Peach Blossom Land."

The hotel is situated by the mountain and sea, offering panoramic views. The surrounding lush forests and magnificent sea views provide a peaceful and private vacation environment. Amankila has a total of 34 suites scattered along the verdant hillside, designed in traditional stilt house style, allowing guests to enjoy breathtaking sea views from a high vantage point. Decorated with Paras stone, various furnishings are inlaid with smooth, elegant pearls and coconut shells that emit a fragrant coconut aroma.

The ducks used in the restaurant come from free-range farms in Jasri Village. Cold-smoked products are made in the in-house smokehouse. Various herbs are picked from Amankila’s own garden, while vegetables and tropical fruits are grown in the fertile volcanic soil at the foot of Mount Agung.
