Strolling around Beihai Park, Beijing

Beihai Park, located opposite Jingshan Park, was once the imperial garden of the imperial family. Beihai Lake was dug out and three mountains were built within the park, a belief that these mountains were not created naturally.
The park's highlight is Yong'an Temple, and its white pagoda, or Baita, can be seen from afar. You can climb it to pay homage.

📍Location: Beihai Park is located in Beijing's Xicheng District.
🚊Getting there: Take subway line 5 to Beihai North Station, or walk from Jingshan Park.
🕝Hours: 6:30 AM - 9:00 PM in other seasons, 6:30 AM - 8:00 PM in winter.
💰Admission fee: 10 yuan

✅ Activities include pedal boating on the lake, or ice skating during the winter. Unfortunately, we visited in spring, when the ice had melted. Overall, this park is a great place to relax, enjoy the scenery, and find beautiful photo opportunities. It's also a great place to visit if you're interested in paying homage to the White Pagoda. For auspiciousness in life, anyone visiting Beijing can stop by and relax here.
