Lucerne – Chillon Castle – Bern compressed route

Day 1 – Lucerne → Chillon Castle
• 08:00 Arrive at Lucerne Station, walk around Chapel Bridge & Old Town
• 09:30 Lake Lucerne cruise or Rigi Mountain cable car (optional)
• 11:30 After lunch, take a train to Montreux (approximately 2 hours 30 minutes)
• 14:30 Arrive at Montreux and tour Chillon Castle (admission and interior tour approximately 1 hour)
• 17:00 Walk around downtown Montreux or visit a lakeside café
• 19:00 Check in at Montreux hotel & have dinner

Day 2 – Montreux → Bern
• 08:30 Check out and take a train to Bern (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes)
• 10:00 Arrive at Bern → Walk around Old Town, Clock Tower (Zytglogge) & Aare River view
• 12:30 Bern traditional lunch
• 14:00 Enjoy the city view from Bear Park and Rosegarten Garden
• 16:00 Transfer to the train station or depart for the next destination
