Coastal calm on Busan’s Blue Line Park 🌊🚆

I didn’t expect to feel so peaceful here. Just a short ride out of central Busan, and suddenly everything slows down.

Blue Line Park follows an old railway line that runs along the sea. It stretches from Mipo to Songjeong, with a few small stops in between. You can walk the full route along the Green Railway trail, or hop on the Beach Train or the Sky Capsule. I did a mix of both.

The Beach Train is quiet and smooth, with big windows that let you watch the coast drift by. The Sky Capsule is smaller and floats above the tracks, with room for four people. It moves slowly, giving you time to really take in the ocean view. Everything felt soft — the colors, the wind, even the sound of the waves.

I started at Mipo Station, near Haeundae, and took my time walking toward Cheongsapo. That stretch of trail is especially pretty. You pass rocky cliffs, little viewing platforms, and eventually reach the lighthouse and Skywalk. I stopped there for a bit to just listen to the waves. It was quiet, even with a few families and couples around.

📌 How to get there
Start at Mipo Station, which is about a 10-minute walk from Haeundae Station (Line 2). You can follow the signs or ask any local — most people know where the Blue Line Park begins. From Mipo, you can board the train, ride the capsule, or walk the trail.

🪴 Tip
Go in the late afternoon if you can. The light gets softer, and you might catch sunset over the water. Bring a drink, wear comfy shoes, and leave some room in your day to take it slow.
