Turkey's Cappadocia, a different world encountered in the sky.

Cappadocia is undoubtedly the highlight of a trip to Turkey. The entire city felt like a massive natural art gallery. The unique rock formations, cave villages, and the sight of hot air balloons filling the early morning sky were truly surreal. The scenes before my eyes were so beautiful that I couldn't tell if it was a dream or reality.

The most memorable moment was, of course, riding the hot air balloon. As we ascended into the sky in the chilly dawn air, the Göreme Valley and fairy chimneys unfolded beneath us. When the sun slowly rose, casting a reddish glow over the rocks, the moment was indescribably moving. Floating gently with the wind alongside other balloons felt like dancing in the sky.

During the day, it was enjoyable to relax in cave hotels or cafes. The rock-carved rooms and the view of the valley through the windows created a unique atmosphere. In the evening, I wrapped up the day with local kebabs and wine under the sunset-lit sky. However, the temperature difference can be significant, and the early morning balloon tours might be canceled due to wind, so it's best to keep your schedule flexible.

Cappadocia is not just a tourist destination but a magical space created by nature and the sky. It's a place where you can feel wonder on the ground and awe in the sky. If I had to choose just one place to visit in Turkey, I would recommend Cappadocia without hesitation.
