[Philippines, Cebu] Bantayan Island

📍Bantayan Island, located north of Cebu, Philippines

While studying abroad in Cebu, I went island hopping to Bantayan Island for 2 nights and 3 days🏝️

I left my dormitory in Cebu city at around 4am.

I took a bus from the North bus terminal near SM city Cebu to Hagnaya port (the port where the boat to Bantayan Island departs) in the north of Cebu!

We had some trouble on the way, such as the bus breaking down and getting stuck, but we managed to arrive at the port!

I got off the bus and boarded a large ferry heading to Bantayan Island🚢

It was a pretty long journey, but we managed to arrive on the island by around 4pm!

I used a tuk-tuk to get around locally.

I was worried at first because it was difficult to speak English, but everyone was kind and hospitable, and I had a great time during my stay.

The sea was so clear that it was hard to tell the difference between the sky and the horizon. The beach was perfect with white sand, and we enjoyed the tropical resort atmosphere.

・Virgin Island
(The beach is incomparably beautiful!)

・Ogtong cave
(There is a beautiful cave! We stayed at a hotel nearby.)

・Santa Fe Beach
(A lively place lined with restaurants. We had our meal here.)
