Chaozhou, an ancient city that you will want to visit again
Lingering in the streets and alleys filled with memories of the past
Hearing the melodious Chaozhou opera from someone's house
Slowly, like a reflection of time
Tempting delicacies on both sides of the street, fresh and fragrant oyster omelet, beef fried rice noodles with satay sauce, smooth and sweet duck mother dumplings...
You may also meet a warm-hearted old man who invites you to sit down and have a cup of Kung Fu tea
In the lingering aroma of tea, there is a leisurely pleasure

🚶Citywalk route
Paifang Street ➠ Kaiyuan Temple ➠ Xima Road ➠ Qinglong Ancient Temple ➠ Kaiyuan Temple Thai Buddha Hall ➠ Han Wengong Temple ➠ Guangji Bridge

1️⃣Guangji Bridge: This bridge over the Han River is one of the four ancient bridges in China. The middle of the bridge is connected by eighteen shuttle boats: when closed, it is a bridge road for pedestrians, and when opened, it is a waterway for cargo ships. The wisdom of the ancients is truly admirable
2️⃣Paifang Street: Twenty-three archways stand in a row like soldiers, majestic and imposing. They were built to honor the sages and talents of Chaozhou, recording history like monuments
3️⃣Kaiyuan Temple: One of the four ancient Kaiyuan temples in China, where you can see the architectural art of the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties
4️⃣Qinglong Ancient Temple: The roof inlaid porcelain is the work of Master Lu Zhigao, an intangible cultural heritage inheritor, and a series of historical and mythological stories amazed me
