If you're planning to complete the entire loop (climb the mountain), the slopes are steep and will be very challenging for your legs. Wearing sneakers is highly recommended.❗️

I took the bus to the last stop. Across from the bus was the Hanok Village restaurant and cafe inside the fortress. Go to the pond on the other side of the bus and walk up the long stairs directly to Kongnammun Gate.

Kongnammun Gate is the main gate of the fortress. You can get off the bus one stop before the bus and arrive at the picnic spot. This large expanse of grass is also a popular photo spot! You can also walk up to Kongnammun Gate from here!

From the South Gate, you can walk up the city wall to the West Gate, but I gave up halfway up 😂

Cherry blossoms 🌸 and maple leaves 🍁 bloom in spring and autumn, so it's a great time to visit~
