Located in Meishan Township, Chiayi County, the Taiping Cloud Ladder, at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters and 281 meters long, is Taiwan's longest and highest scenic suspension bridge. Spanning between Guishan Mountain and Taiping Mountain, the bridge offers panoramic views of the Jianan Plain and, on clear days, even the Taiwan Strait.

This suspension bridge is more than just a transportation facility; it has become a new tourist attraction in the Chiayi mountain area. Walking atop it feels like walking in the clouds, surrounded by lush green mountains and often witnessing a magnificent sea of ​​clouds. The surrounding area, combined with attractions such as Taiping Old Street and the Bamboo Forest Teahouse, creates a rich tourist route, allowing visitors to experience Meishan's tea culture and the charm of the mountain town.
