Chongqing Yuzhong Mountain City Lane 💕 Slow Time on the Steps in the Old City

The Mountain City Trail, built along the mountainside, is a unique urban path characteristic of Chongqing. With its suspended walkways and stilted buildings, the winding steps not only connect the upper and lower parts of the city but also carry the city's historical memory and cultural heritage. A short walk from Tongyuan Gate, the starting point of my city gate loop, is the trail's downhill entrance – Shancheng Lane. From here, the entire path is downhill, allowing you to complete the entire trail quickly and easily.

A suggested route (from bottom to top):
Navigate to Mountain City Trail - Zao Space - Love Alley - Chongqing Heart Wall - Rose Wall - Zao Space - Wilderness Garden - Sky Lantern Terrace - Third Walkway

Photography Tips:

✔️During the day, the temperature is too high; it's recommended to visit between 7 and 8 pm (when there's a cool breeze).

✔️Take your time to appreciate this old street; wear comfortable flat shoes!

✔️Many undeveloped alleys contain adorable shops.

✔️Wearing colorful clothes or skirts will result in better photos!

• Exit 5 of Jiaochangkou Station on Metro Line 1/2, 8-minute walk;

• Bus 462/466 to Jiaochangkou Station, 10-minute walk;

• For driving, navigate to "Shanchengxiang Parking Lot". Parking spaces are limited, public transportation is recommended.
