Copacabana: A Town by the Shores of Lake Titicaca

Lake Titicaca, situated at an altitude of 3,812 meters, is known as the highest navigable lake for steamships. Due to the town's high elevation, climbing uphill can leave you breathless.

Thanks to the lake, fish dishes here are both affordable and delicious. From the town, tours are available to visit the islands floating on Lake Titicaca, including the Island of the Sun and the Island of the Moon.
