2. Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun)
A must-visit attraction in Copacabana is Isla del Sol, a mystical island believed to be the birthplace of Inca mythology. The island is dotted with ancient ruins and scenic viewpoints. While day tours are available, staying overnight on the island to enjoy the sunset and stargazing is also a popular option.
3. Copacabana Cathedral
This 16th-century Catholic church, with its stunning white exterior, is home to the famous Black Virgin Mary statue, known for its miraculous powers. Pilgrims from all over Bolivia come to visit this sacred site.
