Buinsa Temple (부인사) in Daegu, built during the Silla Dynasty, is a Buddhist temple with over a thousand years of history. Nestled at the foot of Palgongsan Mountain, it offers a serene environment and is regarded as a spiritual retreat.
The temple not only preserves ancient architecture and cultural heritage but also served as a filming location for the Korean drama "A Korean Odyssey," attracting numerous fans and travelers.
The most intriguing highlight is the "Four-Headed Turtle Statue" within the temple. Legend has it that these four back-to-back stone turtles symbolize wisdom, longevity, peace, and happiness. Touching them is said to bring good luck and blessings, making them a must-see sacred object for visitors. Personally, I believe it!|
When in Daegu, consider visiting Buinsa Temple to experience its tranquil atmosphere and historical significance. Don’t forget to take a photo with the mysterious turtles and leave your own blessings and memories. 📷
