During the flower season, there are direct buses from Guiyang and Bijie to the Hundred Li Azalea Scenic Area.

The best time to visit the Hundred Li Azalea Scenic Area is from March to May each year. This year's peak bloom is expected from the last week of March to the first week of April. I visited on March 26th; the azaleas near the Colorful Road in the Pudi Scenic Area were blooming beautifully, and the Jinpo Scenic Area should have even better blooms coming up.
