Osumi Seaside Park is located at the northernmost tip of Imabari City, and is a scenic spot with a panoramic view of the Shimanami Kaido and the Seto Inland Sea.

The cherry blossoms at Osumi Seaside Park (Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture) are known for their early-blooming Kawazu cherry blossoms.

They start blooming around the end of February every year, and their bright, deep pink petals sway in the sea breeze, heralding the arrival of spring.

In 2024, the cherry blossoms were 70-80% in bloom on February 16th and in full bloom on March 3rd.
