One of Ehime's 100 famous waters

📍Kawaji Spring Water

One of the 100 famous waters of Ehime.

The water temperature is always 14℃ no matter the season.

During the Edo period,
the Kubo family used this spring water to dye indigo.

The view of the rice terraces and mountains from here is exceptional.

Near the waterway is the stone paved Jizo statue of the 88 temples.
The sleeping Kannon Jizo statue seems to be saying, "Go and rest."

There were many chestnut trees around.
They will bear fruit in the fall. I'm looking forward to autumn.

The last photo is the gelato at the roadside station Karari that we stopped at on the way back.
