Citywalk for half a day, the right way to explore a city
When time is tight and tasks are heavy! Only half a day left for Guiyang, decisively giving up Qianling Mountain & Qingyan Ancient Town.
📍 Route arrangement:
Captain George (MixC store) ➡️ Guiyang North Catholic Church ➡️ Humen Alley ➡️ (passing by) Jiaxiu Pavilion ➡️ Qingyun Market/Qingyun Road ➡️ White House & Twin Towers (view from afar)

1️⃣ Captain George ☕️ MixC store
Users report relatively few people! Personally tested on a weekday afternoon, wait time ≈ 30min, acceptable. The store is full of girls taking photos! 📸 The coffee flavor is not amazing‼️ Purely for quality/flavor lovers, no need to queue long just for it!

2️⃣ Guiyang North Catholic Church ⛪️ - Free 🆓, no reservation required!
Hours: 8:30-17:00 (last entry at 16:00)
A super amazing blend of Chinese and Western architecture! 🤯 Back: very Chinese style! Like a Taoist temple tower. Main church: classic Gothic style, pointed roof + stained glass! Front: ethnic style archway! It is said the plaque was written by Empress Dowager Cixi!
Not many tourists, sit inside the main church for a while, watch the stained glass light and shadow fall, and your heart will calm down✨

3️⃣ Humen Alley 🍖
Exit the east gate of the Catholic Church, a short alley hiding several local barbecue shops, can have a light taste if time allows.

4️⃣ (Passing by) Jiaxiu Pavilion 🏯
Not originally planned! But happened to pass by on the way to Qingyun Market, a quick glance counts as a successful check-in.👌

5️⃣ Qingyun Market/Qingyun Road 🎪
Qingyun Market: people! mountains! sea of people! 👫
Guizhou’s version of the “city that never sleeps,” with many bars/restaurants/shops, dazzling. But... too many tourists, few boutique shops, mostly common tourist goods.
Found a small shop featuring Nuó masks, very flavorful (photo 16)
Qingyun Road: more like a traditional “market,” mainly mobile stalls.
