[Goryokaku, Hokkaido🏯] Snowy Goryokaku❄️Let's go and feel the history

One of the recommended sightseeing spots in Hakodate is "Goryokaku"

It was built by the shogunate to defend the north before the port was opened! It took seven years to complete, starting in 1857 (Ansei 4) 😳

The Hakodate Magistrate's Office (Hakodate Government Office) was built in the center, protected by a star-shaped earthwork and moat. This star shape is famous!

Currently, about one-third of the building has been restored in the same place with the same design, construction method, and size, and the technology is amazing!

We also had the opportunity to see the inside 😊

The weather was bad that day, so we couldn't climb to the top of the tower, so we'd like to try again next time!
