Zhao King City Ruins Park

This is the palace ruins of the Zhao Kingdom's capital, Handan, from the Warring States period, located in Handan City, Hebei Province, China. The remains of the city walls give you an idea of what a Warring States capital city was like.

The long stone pavement is engraved with the history of Zhao, including the path taken by Li Mu before Zhao was destroyed by Qin. I walked through the vast grounds, reflecting on the events that followed in the Kingdom.

The view from the hilltop is spectacular, making it a recommended spot for sightseeing in Handan.

It was a Sunday, and there were many families flying kites. The strong wind allowed the kites to soar high, indicating that the park is loved by the locals as well.
