It's a pity that we encountered the Chinese Baroque Street which is under renovation.

Known as a "hidden historical treasure within a modern city," Harbin's Chinese Baroque Street is said to house the largest and best-preserved ensemble of Baroque architecture in China. However, when I visited (August 2025), most of the buildings were under renovation, which was a shame! However, within the open streets, you can still see a few scattered houses, each showcasing its own unique character with rich ornamentation and intricate carvings.

Unlike Central Street, this street is less touristy. Some shops (Nantoudao Street) sell vintage items and handmade crafts, and there's even an antique market, perfect for treasure hunting.
