Hong Kong Hiking Trail: Tai Tung Shan

On Tai Tung Shan, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean, islands, and beaches. The charming silver grass on the slopes is also a popular photo spot. Hiking this trail allows you to explore a series of mysterious small stone houses.

Take a bus from Tung Chung and get off at the highest point of the valley. This is where you should start walking. The three large characters 'Pak Kung Au' are clearly engraved on the roadside rock slope. Follow the stone steps eastward, and you will see clear signs for the Phoenix Trail, marking the beginning of your hike.
